Dr. Jee has helped me so much. I was a skeptic, but his unique treatments really do work wonders. The condition I came in for is completely cleared up and my life is a lot better for it. He identified my body type first, then customized his treatments accordingly and gave me advice about foods I should eat and foods I should avoid, based on my specific body type. The technique is painless (honestly!) and quick (15 minutes at most), and Dr. Jee has a respectful and attentive bedside manner. He is very kind about answering any questions you may have (I had a lot). Also, he takes it upon himself to deal with the insurance side of things so that you don't have to bother with any of that. Dr. Jee seems to be a very nice person who clearly believes in his work. I visited him because I had a herniated L5/S1 disc in my back pushing on my sciatic nerve and causing all sorts of radiating pain. I was hopeful when first visiting him that he would help my pain. My insurance accepted his treatments which made it a low cost option. Unfortunately, after four treatments, I experienced no pain reduction, Potentially even a slight increase in pain. I think I am just a bad candidate for acupuncture. Dr. Jee told me that he had a hard time feeling my pulse and determining which body type I fell into. He tried two different body types. Maybe if I kept going he would have found the right one. But it just started to feel helpless. So I elected to have a microdiscetomy procedure to fix the underlying issues medically. If you are looking for an acupuncturist, he may be a reasonable option. But his treatments last just a few minutes compared to the normal 30-60 min procedures of a traditional acupuncturist. Has he figured out some new secret to a several thousand year old art? Or is he just trying to maximize the patients he can see and charge within his working hours? I can't answer that question. I was afraid to try acupuncture, but I had so much pain with my herniated disc in my back and I did not want to have back surgery again. Dr. Jee came recommended by some friends of mine so I decided to give him a try. The 8 Constitution Acupuncture method is essentially painless and has given me some immediate relief after every visit. When he started treating me on April 25 I was barely walking, in excruciating pain and having back spasms multiple times a day. It hurt to sit down, to walk, to lie down, nothing was comfortable and the pain management I was given wasn't helping enough. Almost 2 months later I am waking normally, rarely having back spasms and able to sit, stand, lie down without great amounts of pain. I was experiencing uncomfortable stomach pain for the past three years, nothing too serious but definitely a lot of on/off discomfort. When I made an appointment, I was told that our insurance was accepted. So I went thru the first treatment and at the second appointment, I was told that he was out of network and I was charged full price for the first treatment. He did not take the time to make sure he was in the network, but instead assured me that he accepted our insurance. That resulted in me paying full price of the treatment. I came in with very severe eczema and itching and he knew what to do! I have a pinched nerve causing by a bulging spinal disk for almost 10 years, it have been causing numbness, tingling, and electrical shooting pain all the way down to the fingers on the left side.
