I've lived in the area forever & tried almost every nail salon around but for whatever reason I missed this one, few friends mentioned going here and raving of their service but still nothing ever prompted me to go here. So recently I was in a try something new mood, I have to say they did a great job. I went for a gel manicure & regular pedicure as a walk in on a Friday, I was accommodated as soon as I walked in, she started with my pedicure, I found the chairs were a bit worn but the rollers are so strong they pushed me forward in the seat. On a Friday that was really needed I restarted them a second time during my service. She did a great job on my piggies, a very good cleaning of the nails, applied lotion, hot towels, and paraffin bags on your heals while they polish. They do have flip flops should you go without. For my gel manicure, she pushed my cuticles back, shaped the nails, and did all the proper steps for the gel manicure so many take shortcuts. I liked their manicure tables they have the vent fan built into the middle of the table so there is minimal dust no sneezing fits for me this time. Overall I really enjoyed my services here, I try to stretch a gel manicure out 3 weeks so we'll see how they hold up. I will defiantly try them again, there is plenty of parking in the back, and for an extra treat go to the restaurant next door afterwards, a glass of wine was a bonus to a relaxing pedicure. read more

Unfortunately, I do not have the option of giving them 0 stars which is what they deserve. I do not know what happened to this place. I have been visiting it since they started their business and it used to be a good place. My husband always gives me gift cards for Mother's Day and other celebrations from there and it is only one block away so it used to be convenient until last week when I went for a mani pedi. Only three people were working: Kay, the person doing gel nails and a new girl who I never saw there before. Kay did my pedi. She pushed the cuticles and cut skin on the right foot (the normal process) but instead of doing the same on the left foot, she started to scrub my feet. I pointed out her oversight several times, she gave different excuses and continued scrubbing my feet. She scrubbed so hard (probably to compensate her prior oversight) that I had to use a bandaid for several days on one foot. When applying the polish, she realized that she could not hide her mistake any longer and started pushing cuticles and cutting skin around the toes in the left foot with the skin completely dry, no cuticle softener or anything. For the manicure, I had the new girl. She didn't know how to file nails, the shape was terrible and she even hurt my pinky finger (another bandaid) She didn't know how to apply the polish, I ended with more polish around the nail than in the nails. I complained about that to her and Kay, but again they just ignored me. I spent 50 dollars for a completely unprofessional job that I can do better. read more

When I lived in Bloomfeild, this was my go to nail salon. They would also do my eye brows and always made time for me if I was a walk in.

They did a very good job with my nails but I had an appointment and still had to wait over 45 minutes for someone to start my pedicure. There was no communication about why they were running late or how long it would be. read more

Recently moved to the area and tried this local spot yesterday for wraps on my mid-length natural nails and color. Two stars because Terry was very sweet and there was no wait. But the $60 plus $15 tip I spent was money down the drain: 3 of the 10 wraps are already lifting at the sides less than 24 hours later and despite asking for rounded corner squares, my nails are thick, wide, and sharpish at the edges. Rather than looking like wrapped natural nails, it looks like I got short stubby fake ones. With events over the next couple days, I'm just hoping they last till I can find another "home" salon next week. I fully expect to be patching this with glue by tonight. :-/ Really shouldn't have that problem for $60 when I've been nowhere with them. I can't see myself coming back here. read more

Hey guys ! So I do not recommend this nail salon. This was my second time there. The first time was AMAZING ! But when I went in today, I had the worst experience of my life. I spent $75 on a $35 nail job. I was charger $40 for a fill, and then $30 to replace 4 nails. I felt VERY uncomfortable with the lady who did my nails. She gave the nastiest looks as if she was disgusted. Needless to say I'm never coming back again. With in 4 hours of leaving the salon, one of my nails that she just replaced had fallen off. I am going back to DEMAND a full refund, and for them to fix my nail for free. If you decide to go there, I hope you have a better experience than I did. I will go in there screaming, so if anyone is there, I truly apologize for the out burst, but if you had my experience there I'm sure you would at the same way! read more

I've been coming to Annie nails for over 10 years. Annie is a lovely owner and her team are great. Both my daughters and their best friends also frequent Annie's. I highly recommend this establishment. There is plenty of parking in front and behind in the parking lot and there are entrances from both front and back. Loyal customer, not frequent like I used to be but that's not because of service but just because of change in work. But let me tell you no matter how long it's been when you walk in everyone there remembers you and you are Welcomed so cheerfully. I also make an appointment, I usually see Lee. Great manis and pedis for a reasonable price. Again no matter where I go I always end up back to Annie because they are wonderful. My suggestion appointment scheduling because they can get super busy so if you're in a pinch you may wait but to me that makes me more confident in my review of how great they are because no matter day time you see a crowd in there. This is probably one of the worst nail salons in the area. Decided to try it out for a second time because a friend goes to it and give it a chance after being unhappy with my first manicure. The service is poor, I received no massage at all on my hands, and my nails were left jagged on the ends from poor filing. Nail polish was also slabbed onto my nails and the whole process took less than 5 minutes. Wouldn't waste my money on this ever again. read more

One of my friends always had fabulous acrylics. When my other friend and I asked her where she had them done, she said Annie's Art Nail. So we looked them up online and discovered that they gave acrylic manicures for only $25, a bargain against some of the other places around here. My friend decided to call them and make an appointment for acrylics. On the phone, the lady verified multiple times that acrylics cost $25. So we booked an appointment. Upon arriving, we confirmed with Annie that we were getting acrylics. Two hours later, with the little plastic pieces glued onto our nails and our nails ready to be polished, Annie (who was working with me) said it was time to pay. "Twenty-five dollars?" I said at the cash register, just to confirm. "No, sixty," Annie replied. I was stunned. It had clearly said on their business page that acrylics cost $25. "Sixty for the first time, and then thirty for the next times. It's always more expensive the first time," Annie reiterated. The same thing happened to my friend at the register. If zero stars were an option it would be my rating!!!! I have been a loyal customer for 20 years. I spend over $120 every two weeks for my daughter and I to get our nails done.The way I was treated today was inexcusable. I waited for 2.5 hours for Terri to ask me to come back another day. I watched as the entire staff tended to walk in after walk in. Not once during this time was I asked to come back at another time. Without Annie in the salon daily the service has dropped to a non-existent level!! I would suggest you go anywhere else!!!! read more

I went here with a friend to get acrylic nails put on. I checked not only their website but I called and confirmed the price. Also, once we got to the place, I asked again about the price and the manicure we were getting. I don't know if they didn't hear/understand me or if they were deliberately lying to us, but when we went to pay they charged us $60! When I asked them about this they said that they didn't give us the acrylics and that they gave us something else. They hadn't told me or my friend about this and just expected us to pay $60 for a service that we didn't know we were getting. Also, the service took close to 2 hours and my manicure has already chipped (less than 1 hour after). Also, the staff was quite rude and stand offish to me and my friend. I would definitely not recommend this place to ANYONE. read more
