The food portions are large so it's best to share an appetizer or entree. Now for your worst part and hence the low rating, the service our server didn't get our order right although we repeated the order to him. The food (an appetizer) took a long time to get, the server never came back after our drink and food order. He visited our table once the entire time we were there. Once! Pretty nice restaurant for dinner. My family and I came here twice during our stay in Puerto Rico. The food is great and the beach view is beautiful. I especially recommend coming here during sunset as the restaurant sits on the water. A stand out menu item were the Mofongos, but truly we did not eat a bad bite here. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the service can be a bit slow at times. Our waitress was very nice, but our food took more than 40 minutes to arrive. First, I loved the view it's just an amazing location literally in the beach. The service is great, they always try to make you feel comfortable. The food is also good. We had the grouper bites with rose sauce and they are awesome. If you like fish they have a good selection but if you don't go for the chicken breast in garlic sauce! As for my main course, I ordered coconut shrimp. I wasn't that hungry to eat a big,full meal.My friend ordered just white rice & beans(which she gave me some w/ my shrimp). She couldn't eat it all. My cousin ordered salmon in garlic sauce w/ white rice & beans. For dessert,we shared two flans(custard) for the table. Our food (appetizers,entrees,dessert) all took awhile to come out. Seafood Restaurant at the Combate Beach Club...not worth the price due to poor quality and food service. Although the view is to die for, the flavors and taste are not fresh or authentic. When the you mention the dissatisfaction with the flavors, an attitude by the servers is unwarranted. There is no soap in the bathrooms either. We loved this place. The reviews had us steering clear of here, but I'm so glad local had us try it. We loved it! First off the staff is very friendly. There were only 1 or two servers for the entire place. We arrived at 7pm an hour before close and were seated right away. Service is slow as others complained, but we could see two servers working 20 tables. I'm on vacation and the slow food time, didn't bother us. Food: it was excellent! The calamari tasted fresh and came out quickly. My husband and I each got the tacos. His was Skirt steak, mine was Mahi Mahi. It was the Mahi I'd ever had. Juicy, flavorful and hand breaded. The Pico De Galloon top was so flavorful. I had Pama margarita and it was delicious. Price: excellent for an app, two entrees, several Beers and two large our bill was only $86! Wowza! Don't listen to reviews, this place had a local feel. Decor was beautiful, staff friendly. If you're not on island time and looking for a fast meal then I'd say that's the only reason you'd avoid this place. We did get to e Joy the views but will be back tomorrow. If you go to Annie's place be prepared to go there for the views and drink, but not necessarily for the food. After spending the day at playa buye one of the locals recommended Annie's place as an iconic beach restaurant in Cabo Rojo. Let me tell you, views were stunning and the beach was literally RIGHT THERE - like few steps away. Piña colada and fried cheese were solid, but our steak mofongo was served cold. I'm mindful that they were pretty short staffed and had a full house. I give Annie's a four-star rating because I would definitely come back here for apps and drinks to enjoy the sunset and surrounding gorgeous views. read more
