I visited Annie's Social and had such a great time with my dog, Chronos. The dog play area is separate from the café ordering area, but you can still bring your drinks inside the play space. Dogs are allowed to be off-leash, and it felt very safe and well-supervised. They also sell dog treats. the café offers coffee, tea, and beer, including some unique selections. Everything was reasonably priced, and the service was fast and kind. I really liked the sense of community here. The locals were friendly. people introduced themselves, asked my dog's name, and it gave a welcoming vibe. The overall ambience is great. Love the concept and such a cute space. The space feels light and there's lots of natural light. The back portion is separated where you can bring your fur baby. Coffee was really good. This is a fun spot! I brought my dog here and instantly knew it would be a hit when I saw Stella & Chewy treats. The dog-friendly area isn't huge, but it's comfortable enough for a few mixed-size pups. Dogs aren't allowed in the front where food is prepped, but there's a side door for easy access. I was pleasantly surprised by the menu. I ordered a grilled cheese, a panini, and a couple of strawberry lemonades. My partner and I stopped in for some coffee. The dog area is about 2/3 the size of the whole space. What a nice feature. That being said, if you're here for anything else, there is minimal space in the main part of the cafe to sit. I was impressed by the beer selection, which included Trillium cans. They had a nice tea and coffee selection. I liked my hazelnut latte. We also had the chocolate salt toffee cookie. Scrumptious. Pretty nice vibe. Move over, there's a new dog-friendly cafe in town! I am so glad I don't have to travel so far to go to a dog cafe anymore. Street parking is a must for this location, especially if you're traveling by car. You can park by the meter or park in the residential area. There are two entrances to the cafe: one is an entrance for your dog and the other is for humans. If you want to order your coffee/baked goods and you have your dog(s) with you, you can order at the window near the entrance for people. If you're inside already, there are two clear doors that  separate the cafe side from the dog-friendly area. I've tried the Ham & Gruyere Croissant, the Plain Croissant, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Cinammon Kouign Amann. They were all fresh, soft on the inside, and delicious. Their coffee is made from La Colombe, so you can't go wrong with any of their choices. My babies, Jasper and Ava, have visited this cafe twice, and it has been such a positive experience. They were able to meet so many friendly pups here. Remember to bring some treats for your pup. On second thought, maybe more if you're going to share with the other pups as well... but remember to ask for permission. The owner is super friendly! When I visited the first time around, we were able to chat a bit. I found out he gets his croissants fresh from a bakery in the city. Anni'e Social is such a great concept and a true gem in Queens for those who are dog parents! I always struggle to find a place where I can go with my dog especially in winter time, I saw a post on social media about this cafe and stopped by on a Sunday. It was busy with many dogs and owners. It has a separate adjacent area for dogs only, the main cafe is separate. But you can order at the main place or through their window and they bring your food to the dog cafe. They have great selection of pastries and quick bites, along with la colombe coffee. I tried cappuccino, banana bread and cinnamon kouigh amman. Coffee was really good, cinnamon also tasty, but banana bread tiny bit dry. We had an amazing time there, it was truly a social environment, nice crowd and sweet doggies! If you're not familiar with Bayside, please note you can find parking on the side streets if you can't find any on Francis Lewis Blvd. Parking is hell. I was happy to know that they serve La Colombe coffee. You make your purchase and can enter the back to see all the cute neighborhood puppies. First, I thought they were dogs up for adoption but I was wrong. People who live in the neighborhood bring their dogs. It's a nice community. The cafe itself is clean, their restroom is located in the back. The cafe is separated by a glass partition and door from the dog area. And, not to mention so close to home! HOW TO ORDER (if you bring a dog) If you're with your pup, you have to order by the main door. There's a window that you order from. After you order, you head around to the side door! It's labeled "dog entrance". They'll bring you your order! (Pastries were delicious, and the coffee was great!) TIPS - Bring a water bowl & treats! Find residential parking - you'll probably be here for awhile! When you enter through the dog door, there is a dog gate that leads into a play area for your pups! Shadow got to meet Annie, the Labradoodle and inspiration behind this cafe! Tom, the owner was really down to Earth. Great to converse with, and is a very responsible owner! Love this concept of having your coffee with my best buddy alongside with me! There aren't many cafes that allow dogs indoors so that's a huge plus for me! You have to order your food/drinks from a window outside if you have your dog with you and then bring it to the side entrance with your furry companion. We went on a weekday midday and we were the only ones there for the hour we stayed there for. It's a nice spacious area that is well lit and very clean for the dogs to play. Love this cafe! As a fur baby mommy - these are the types of places that bring joy to us! It's a very clean and modern place to come and spend time while sipping on coffee/lattes/teas. I love how there was a separate room for us and our pups to play and another area for customers to enjoy their food while watching pups play! My family loves to go here all the time while we go on a family walk. There's minimal seating, but we never have trouble finding seating. The dog section is separated from the cafe section but my daughter loves looking at the dogs through the glass window! Coffees are good and there's also a great selection of craft beers. A cute little cafe on Francis Lewis blvd! The owner is very nice as he gave us free samples of coffee when we first visited. I came back again with a friend and I got the nitro latte, the perfect latte for people who love that milky taste with their coffee. I went to Annie's Social with my maltipoo this past Tuesday afternoon at about 5:30pm. If was my first time visiting and I had a good time! The corner entrance to the coffee shop doesn't allow dogs inside and you enter with your dog through another side door to the dog section. My first impression of the cafe was that it was so clean. Everything looks brand new and well maintained. There's a few outdoor benches and inside the cafe-only area. The doggy area has a bathroom, dog treats available, high bar seats and tables. The time that I went it was a bit busy but nice for your dog if they are very social! There are paper towels and a spray cleaner in case a dog has an "accident". Also the employees are so welcoming and nice! They also have great coffee and a variety of food but I didn't get to try any this time. My cappuccino was great though. How many times have I been to Annie's Social since it's opened a month ago? "Yes." We've visited dog parks, daycare, dog-friendly cafes with Phineas, but there was never anything local on my side of town. My friend sent me a link to an article on Annie's Social's opening back in February 2023, and I knew where I'd spend my Sunday with my pup. Their set up works; inside cafe for humans, window for humans with pups ordering, and then you go around the corner and down the block to enter the dog play area. Be mindful of other dogs behind or in front of you when you enter the dog play area. There are 2 set of doors and a dog gate when you go inside. They also started offering stamp cards for every 10 purchases, you get a free coffee! They offer different coffees, teas, and some pastries for you to take to the play area (or take away) while you watch your pup play. The play area is a bit small, and the pups with their humans do fill up the space quick on weekends! We generally take Phineas on quiet evenings until closing. There'll be sometimes 1-2 additional dogs during weekday evenings, which is fine. The interactions are more manageable when it's less dogs. It gets quite...humid when the room is full on the weekends at its busiest. One HEPA filter runs continuously, and the door would be opened to air the place out. There are cleaning supplies for when your pups make accidents, in which other owners are very attentive on doing. The owner is super nice and very passionate about the cafe and Annie's namesake. We love bringing Phineas to come visit, and he thinks it's the next best thing on Earth next to his daycare! This is a wonderful addition to the area. This locally owned and operated café is dog friendly. I love that I can bring my dog here but really the coffee and pastries are the draw. They are a true cafe with well made delicious coffee. I can't stand when you go into a place and the coffee is mediocre, I think that is why so many people default to that place from Seattle. But I promise you will not be disappointed in the coffee here. The staff is friendly, especially the owner Tom and if you're luck Annie herself might make an appearance. If you're not into dogs don't worry the dog area is completely separate from the café. However if you do bring your dog you are in for a treat. All the dog owners I met were friendly when I brought my 65 lb hound dog into a space that was mostly dogs under 30 lb. The dog space is kept super clean. There are cleaning products available for the inevitable accident that take place on occasion. There's a separate entrance around the side so that dogs don't walk through the café area. I'm looking forward to going back to try the other items on the small but appealing menu.
