The bad was a few missed drawers, walls that should have been wiped down, and our sink was not shiny at all it had a dull film of whatever was used covering it. Also if the comforter was still damp she could start dryer again but just leave the comforter in the dryer. She decides to take it upon herself to pack everything up for us in the boxes we left. In box number two there is laundry supplies photos and at the bottom completely destroyed my husbands movie poster... it is ripped and wrinkled... we had left the poor thing nicely rolled up and rubber banded on the shelve out of the way if she had just left everything like I told her this wouldn't have happened. First time: We agreed on two people for two hours and I provided a detailed list - primarily making beds, cleaning/dusting horizontal surfaces, and ensuring the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. They ended up spending three hours, charging $80 more than we agreed upon. They did a great job then but performed a number of tasks I didn't request (like detailing baseboards or low-visibility areas), so the extra time was not value-added (value should be defined by the customer). Also, the shower doors in the master were off the hinges and the rollers were torn off of the glass. I didn't complain then, and about a year later decided to give them another chance because they did do a good job. I was just more adamant that I wanted my task list followed. Second time: I asked for 1-2 people for 2-3 hours and they sent one person for three hours. I got no feedback that my list would be a challenge to complete by one person at that time. I have cleaned this house many times myself and know that what I asked for could be easily accomplished by one organized person working diligently. They could hand sent two people for three hours. I just figured they were short - handed like so many businesses and trying to make it work. I specifically emphasized the kitchen and bathrooms be visibly clean. My guests sent me the attached pictures - coffee stains on kitchen counters, food particles on the oven handle, etc. When I contacted Glam, they said there hadn't been enough time and that they'd spent most of their time in the master cleaning up "soap scum". I surface cleaned the master myself and there was no soap scum on either the tub or the shower. Look at the photos - does it look like a cleaner worked diligently in that bathroom for THREE HOURS? I asked for a $70 refund out of $180, they gave me $35 and I had to refund my guest more than that and I still got a bad review. Unacceptable. If they had followed my list, or been honest that they don't follow directions from the client; this would have been a satisfactory transaction. Oh, and the shower door in the master was off its tracks again - propped up so it looked like it was shut, but when I tried to open it, it nearly fell off on top of me.

They are pretty unreliable and even after repeated requests to give me a 2-3 day heads up before they came through the years, they would continue to send me confirmations the evening before an 8am call time. I let it go and continued to use them after so many years because I genuinely liked Rosa and her team, and thought they did a good job 90% of the time. It became super inconvenient since I started to work from home over COVID-19. Rosa became SUPER unresponsive to texts. Before she would at least answer me a couple days after I texted her to schedule, now, after COVID-19, she only responds a month later for an appointment for the next morning. I don't understand how anyone can schedule with her consistently because of these communication issues. I tried addressing it with her multiple times and even said if you just schedule me every month on the same day, that would even work better so I can know when they are coming ahead of time. She responded right away after this last message and said she would look at her schedule the next day and work on the communication issue. She hasn't followed up with her schedule and it has been several months now. So needless to say, she lost a monthly customer. After a phone consultation with the office manager Linh, I've got an in-home estimate with the lead technician Athena. We walked through the house and I told them what rooms needed to be cleaned, the areas that bother me the most, which are tiles/ grouts. They are good to assure me that they will be cleaned, and wow they delivered the promises. My house was so clean that I forgot to write a review right away, until the mess started to build up again and made me thinking of them :) The day of cleaning, they showed up in uniforms, with equipment- cleaners organized/ labeled so neatly that I only see from Pinterest. The crew began working, and at the end, Athena did a final sign off around the house with me to make sure I was satisfied and all items are checked. After I pointed out a few areas that got neglected, they went back to work until all issues are addressed. They didn't leave my house until 7pm that day, till my house was all clean.
