I've been with this accounting firm for well over a decade. Over the years, price increases were…read moregradual and reasonable. After the firm was acquired (though one of the original owners is still involved), that changed. There was a significant price hike last year, and this year it went up again--by another 35%. When I reached out for an explanation, I was told a mass email had been sent in February. I checked thoroughly, including spam, and never received it. Even if it had been sent, February is far too late in the season to reasonably find another accountant. It's clear they no longer prioritize their clients. Between the steep pricing and constantly changing points of contact, the service has become inconsistent and not worth the cost. This kind of communication and pricing approach is unacceptable, and I won't be continuing with a high-priced, subpar firm.

HORRIBLE.....they acquired my old firm but some the main CPA's are still there (no doubt a purchase…read morerequirement), most have left that I worked with before. Their prices are beyond expensive and they have filed extensions two years in a row even though I had my info to them without notifying me. I lost my line of credit with my bank because I didn't have a current tax return. As I am writing this I just got an $800 bill....I don't see where I can post it here, but it says services rendered through 5/31/2026....keep in mind all I have done is get my info to them so they could do my taxes....they have NOT been done, but still a bill "progress accounting for year end 2025, including: detail review of general ledger accounts; and preparation of preliminary adjusting entries" "Invoice total: $800". Run, don't walk away and find someone good. I had some emails today, prior to the bill to find out who my CPA was this year, even though my CPA is still there (they informed me that they sent an email that they were going to file an extension in that conversation...but I get so much spam and I have always depended on a phone call). The ONLY reason I felt like I couldn't move is because I have had too many deaths in the family and one (my husband) in hospice, so I felt like I needed to stay for continuity until that part was finished). But I don't think that I can afford to stay at this point. It's $800 for a "review" of my quickbooks....that's just for my business, not for my personal and trust accounts. They are out of control. I wish there were negative stars....but you have to pick one. As you can see we all picked the same one. Oh and FYI, I lost my bank line of credit of 30+ years because they did not have the 2025 tax return to review, only 2024.

Unfortunatly we were falling behind on 21 thousand of credit card and credit union loans. My husband and I cancelled our contract with a debt company we saw on TV which was located in New York with no local office and signed up for the Debt Redemption service because not only are they local, they also saved us about $150 a month compare to the company we originally signed up with. I felt so much better knowing there are local people here and they took their time and were very helpful and understanding about or situation. Unlike Debt Redemption, the "sales" person from first company we originally found was professional but a bit pushy and gave my husband and I the vibe that he just wanted to earn a sale. So glad we found Debt Redemption and I love the name.
