Upon arriving, I waited at the front for a few minutes before anybody even acknowledged me, once we sat down we waited another 10 minutes to even get a menu. They don't have enough menus, so we had to wait for the table next to us to finish with the menu before the waiter handed us their menus. Once we chose what we wanted, we waited another 5-10 minutes before we had to flag a waiter to take our order. We also didn't get any water/drinks for about half an hour after sitting down. The restaurant smells like sweat...and they do NOT give free water at all. The room is TOO loud, there's loud music, loud bar sounds and just overall loud general noises. Also the hostess wearing black yelled at multiple waiters a few times in front of guests so that was weird... Anyways, on to the food..... Portions are TOO small, ridiculously overpriced. The food didn't come out at the same time, one of six of us nearly finished her food before the rest of us got anything. The table besides us, had 5, and only 2 received their food and finished it completely before the other 3 received their food. We ordered 2 of the same plate, and only one came. Unfortunately for me I was the odd one out waiting another 14 minutes for my plate. The only positive, the food was actually good. It wasn't amazing, but it was good, except one of my kafta's was raw. They also offered us tea in the end to compensate for the awful service, just for them to never give it. Overall, congrats to this restaurant! This takes the cake as the WORST restaurant I've ever been to. Dreadful service and ambiance. Please come here if you want to lose your mind.

I came here just for the cordon bleu and it was absolutely delicious. I guess a traditional French cordon bleu wouldn't be very flavorful but this WAS, from the sauce to the garnishings and the cheese sauce on the inside. The potatoes it was served with were also extremely well seasoned. We also got a complimentary mint tea!

My best friend and I enjoyed it so much! The servers were all very nice gentlemen. Came to celebrate our last day for a 10 year friendaversary and my 30th birthday. Totally worth it. We started out with the chicken eggrolls. They come in two. Wish there was more. SO DELICIOUS! The ribeye was amazing. Well seasoned. My friend got the sirloin however she was slightly disappointed in the lack of seasoning. Regardless overall it was amazing and highly recommended. Service was awesome despite typical French being not so nice. The raspberry mojito was delicious also. If you're in Paris, no matter where, make this trip especially if you eat halal only. The vibes and music are also great. It is very busy however they are really fast and work really hard so it won't be long before you enjoy your food. Side tip: download bolt. It's much cheaper than other apps based on personal experiences.

Samaya is a fancy Lebanese restaurant located a short walk from the Bir Hakiem metro station near…read morethe Eiffel Tower. They have just about any Lebanese dish you could think of, except for sfiha (Lebanese flatbread with various toppings). After being seated I ordered a mixed skewer plate and kibbeh. Mixed Skewer Plate (18 euros) - This came with kafta kabob (spiced ground beef), boneless chicken kabob, lamb kabob, shirazi salad, eggplant, hummus, and some pita bread. Each of the grilled kabobs was so flavorful and juicy. My favorite was the juicy and flavorful kafta kabob. The shirazi salad was fresh while the hummus and eggplant dips were just middle of the road. The pita bread served here is the store bought variety. Kibbeh ($9) - I always enjoy these fried football shaped croquettes, and the ones here didn't disappoint in terms of taste and consistency. The outer shell is made of bulgur wheat while the inside consists of a spiced minced meat. Overall the food tasted great, however the size of everything here is about 30% less than what I would have expected. The kabobs are so much smaller as are the kibbeh compared to portions in the U.S.. Bottled water is about 6 euros, so be sure to ask for tap water instead. This place is on the pricier side, however it's a great place to get one's Lebanese fix. All the food served here is halal.
