I had my appointment last week, they are very accommodating on scheduling which I have always had trouble with previous dentists attempts. The receptionist is very kind and friendly. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Anoush and her team. My mouth has been through a lot over the years: 24 crowns, 3 implants, and countless dental issues - so I've seen my share of dentists. Dr. Anoush stands out as one of the most attentive, careful, and genuinely caring dentists I've ever met. My first experience with her was actually for my 8 y.o daughter, who was terrified of dentists and had a fast-developing abscess. Another dentist told us it was so severe she'd need to see a specialist in Thousand Oaks, under anesthesia, you can imagine the enormous cost. Instead, I took a chance and brought her to Dr. Anoush. She calmly handled everything herself, removed 2 teeth under simple local anesthesia, and made my daughter feel safe and comfortable. I couldn't believe it - my daughter, who used to panic even when we parked near a dental office, trusted Dr. Anoush completely. After that, I became a patient myself, followed by my other child, my mom, and now even my husband. Every visit has been outstanding. I went to this to Dr. Yessaian years ago. And liked her so much that i referred her to my children. Unfortunately today i had totally different experience. My appointment was at 2:30. I arrived at 2:25. There was 1 person wait there already. While I was waiting another patient came. I waited until 2:55, then approached to the front desk and asked when they will take me in. They told me in 10 min. I went back to my seat and continued to wait. While I have waited for another 15 min the front desk staff approached to a person who arrived after me and asked what kind dental service they needed. It's so hard to find a good dentist. I've been to a handful in the last few years and I had to write this review. Dr. Yessaian is super nice and has a very nice disposition. I had a dental cleaning and she did it herself. I recently got dental implants and got a huge range of prices. I finally got one down in LA but just out of curiosity I asked her how much she charges. Her quick quote seemed very reasonable. One of my estimates that I got in Santa Clarita was twice as much as everyone else. Their office had so many nice art objects around the reception area and they even had Christian Dior hand lotion for everyone. No wonder they charged so much. This office, Dr. Yessaian, is no nonsense and I like it that way. If by chance I needed a procedure that was not covered by insurance I would feel comfortable that she was not ripping me off. After a terrible experience, my friend Grace recommended me to her dentist (Dr. Yessaian) - she'd been boasting about her for some time about how amazing her and her staff were, but also how kind they are. So I called in and made an appointment. Her staff were amazing. They were super friendly, super gentle with my cleaning, kind, and didn't try to sell me some $1k procedure that was unnecessary. Definitely made the experience of going to a dentist a good one, so hats off for turning that around for me! Been going here for years and can't believe I haven't wrote a review yet... I was looking for a dentist years ago and found through trusty yelp because I was going to western dental and felt like every time I went, there was ALWAYS SOMETHING WRONG with my teeth and constantly shelling out money...they were like salesmen of the dentist industry... Parking is a small lot that's shared with other offices...but I've always been able to get parking and if not there is street parking Waiting room is nice and clean but still inviting with cute photos and cards from people to Dr Anoush...the girls in the front are so nice and helpful... They take several insurance and also try to work with you if your payment is high...when I went for my first visit years ago...I informed her western dental told me I needed a list of things done...after a thorough check...she said I needed none of those things and didn't upsell me on anything Dr Anoush is amazing...she has such a gentle touch and is so thorough...she explains everything she is doing and makes sure you are comfortable 100% of the time...I've referred 3 people here already and they said they love her and have had the least painful to no pain root canal from her also...I actually look forward to my dentist appointments Also while you're in the chair, there are headphones you can put on and watch TV and I think even netflix(?) they really want you to be comfortable.. I haven't been during the pandemic...but my friend had an emergency and I called her to refer her and she was taking patients by appointment for emergencies and one patient at a time to properly social distance...my friend has said nothing but good things now..the office number was forwarding to her cell phone so she was picking up herself and really wanted to take care of my friend.. Dr.Yessaian is the best dentist I have ever been to. I used to go to my old family dentist for years but they retried so I needed to find someone new. I am so glad I found Dr.Yessaian. The office is always clean and the front desk staff are always friendly. They confirmed that they accepted my new insurance when calling me to confirm my appointment. They X-ray machine they use is new age and produces an immediate digital image which they show you. My old dentist would look at the film and just tell me they looked ok. I like being able to see the images. The best part is the cleaning! Crazy right? The Dr. applies a numbing gel that makes the whole experience virtually painless. They use a powerful waterpick before going back again with tools and again with floss. My teeth look and feel cleaner than any at my dentist.
