Dr. Papazian was my dentist for almost 10 years beginning in 2000. I absolutely love him and all of his staff so for anyone who didn't have a good experience I'm sure there's a good reason I remember everyone always being so friendly and accommodating. Oftentimes, it was difficult for me to get out of work so I would arrive late and miss my appointment but rather than making me reschedule he would take care of me in between other patients as much as he could and if necessary, stay late and finish up after his regular business hours because he knew I was coming from an hour away and probably wouldn't be able to get out of work again for another month, probably. I had a dental emergency years later after I was no longer living in the area and no longer had insurance coverage but was able to squeeze me in and pulled the tooth that was causing me so much pain. Dr. Papazian was always extremely patient and gentle. I referred my mom and my brother and my ex-husband took his new gf there because she was so afraid of going to the dentist but he remembered that I always said Dr. Papazian never hurt me, which is true. Unlike other dentists, he never rested his hands on my face either unless he absolutely had to which was nice and greatly appreciated. I haven't been there in 10 years but recently I had to visit a dentist in Las Vegas and I couldn't help but remember how stress-free my visits had always been with Dr.Papazian. Doctor Papazian came to my rescue. I was in a car accident wiping out my top teeth and bone. As a result of another dentist poor work other problems were created to all my lower teeth. Now I needed a whole mouth restoration involving gum and bone grafts that no dentist wanted to take on. But Papazian helped me and after years of his skill and patience, I have a beautiful smile. Definitely avoid this dentist. Not helpful or thorough whatsoever. I went in to this dentist office for a routine checkup. Dr. Papazian only spent 20 seconds "examining" my teeth and didn't even provide any words of assessment. I had to ask him if there were any concerns and all he said was "No". The hygienist did a mediocre job of cleaning, then simply walked out when she was finished. She didn't even remove my bib from me or tell me that she was done with the cleaning. DO NOT DO ROOT CANAL HERE! Whatever you do, please do not do root canal procedure here. He charged me $3,000 for 2 root canals a year and a half ago, both of them got infections within 1 year, costing me $4,000 each to get their infections and crowns taken care of by a root canal specialist. I got two consultations from root canal specialists, both saying original root canals and crowns were not done properly. Other than root canals, he is actually a very very nice person, best of luck to him!!! read more

Be careful, this dentist is currently on probation from the dental board. One of his employees turned him in to the dental board for unethical and unlicensed practice and the dental board set up a sting operation and an undercover agent from the California Dental Board busted him for Unlicensed Person Practicing Dentistry, Unprofessional Conduct, and other charges, attached is the documentation from the dental board, you can go and read the full ACCUSATION yourself, it's frightening what this dentist did for profit. Before finding out about his unethical ways I went to him for a crown installation and he wasn't able to numb my tooth even after 4 attempts. He kept injecting the numbing medicine into my gum but it would go directly into my blood stream and instead of it numbing my tooth it would increase my heart rate, I thought my heart was going to explode it was beating so fast. He took $2000 from me for new Crowns and he never installed the crowns. He removed my permanent teeth and placed temporary crowns. When it was time for me to receive the real crowns he had some excuse why he doesn't want to do the install himself and he told me to go and have the dental laboratory that will be making the porcelain crown to do the installation of the crowns. He said his lab technician named "Valod" will do a great job. Trusting this dental office was a big mistake. read more

It's been about 10 years since I saw a dentist, after becoming pregnant and needing to see a dentist I chose Dr Papazian. His staff was very welcoming and helpful with all of my initial paperwork. The wait time was very short. Few Xrays were taken in a very timely matter and the dr was in to see me. He did his exam and informed me of what I needed done. I felt very comfortable with him and everyone in the office. After my pregnancy I decided to come back to him for other work needed. They are great with returning calls and working around my work schedule for appointments. I highly recommend dr Papazian and his office for all your dental needs :-) read more

I've been having dental work done here for almost two years. I like that Dr. Papazian takes time to speak with you at each appointment and shows your clearly the work that needs to be done. He'll even work you in to get it done same day if he can. My dental cleanings are always well done and efficient, and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. I've never had any issues with using my insurance here, and like that the services and billings are straight forward. As I've gotten older, I find that I have more dental sensitivity and anxiety than in years past. Dr. Papazian is sensitive to this, and never hesitates to ask me how I'm doing, if I feel pain, and if needed will always make sure I'm well anesthetized. THEY SCAM YOU! I used to come here as a kid and they would always double charge meaning they charged my insurance and then made my mom pay. On top of that i found out they never even fixed my cavities they just put a white layer on top of them so it can look like my cavities are gone. I found that out when i went to a new dentist and they confirmed it. I almost had to get like 3 crowns and root canals because the cavities almost ate threw all my teeth. I can even recall that one time after coming out of the dentist my filling just fell off. Like it just popped off from my tooth less than an hour later. read more

I have been coming here since I was a child maybe a little over 15 years or so, and nothing but quality work from Dr. Papazian. I recently came in yesterday for fillings, I think I had one too many cavities and Dr. Papazian handled my teeth with such care that I'm able to smile confidently now. Decent dentist. The guy is really nice, but the male Filipino dental assistant cleaning my teeth rushed through it and I wasn't pleased. He polished two teeth individually but did the others in a quick sweep. When I stood up, I saw why-- he had two more patients seated already and waiting. Well too bad? I would give them NO stars if I could. It used to be a good dental facility. It seems to be about poor service and getting your money now. I had to make multiple calls to the office to make an appointment. Every time I called, I was told they would check for my authorization and someone would call me back. No one did, so I'd have to call back. This went on for 2 1/2 weeks. I finally called my insurance company and got the authorization information myself. I called the office back and I was finally given an appointment at 5:30PM. When I got to the office, before the dental hygienists started, she asked "Why did you make an appointment for 5:30 PM when we close at 6:00 PM?" "This procedure takes 1 hour?!" I told her that HER STAFF made the appointment and I was unaware of how long the procedure would take. She then did the procedure that she just told me would take 1 hour in 20 mins. So what kind of service do you think that was?! I'll bet they billed my insurance company for the entire hour. It seems they don't care about the customers or their dental health anymore. They're just in it for the customers money. Please go to someone who will take your dental health more seriously... read more

I just had my first appt (check up and cleaning) with Dr. Papazian yesterday. Like most people, I loathe going to the dentist. For starters, the entire office staff was amazing! I was greeted with smiles, kindness, and friendliness. The office was clean and spacious. I took X-rays and was given a thorough exam. I was also given a referral for a root canal that needs to be done over again. I got my cleaning the same day, which has never happened for me before! F this place! Total conman. He and some random woman in dressed in business attire, not scrubs, said I needed a deep cleaning. That's funny! I have never needed one before and I take very good care of my teeth. These bastards then refused to give me a regular cleaning because my insurance wouldn't give them much. However, If I did a deep cleaning they could pocket $400! So naturally I declined and I went To my regular dentist and paid $100 cash for a regular cleaning and they cleaned my teeth with no issues. I for sure didn't need a deep cleaning. I brush twice a day with an electronic toothbrush, floss and don't smoke or eat many sweets. I'm only 30, so they can go fuck themselves if they think I need a deep cleaning! I will be reporting these bastards to the BBB! read more

I mean it though, when Katherine answered the phone she answered all of my questions, concerns and made sure to work with my schedule. I'm not writing a good review for several reasons. The receptionists are very unprofessional. I had to call 4 times on 4 different occasions to pick a copy of an Xray for which I was charged a steep $200. It's embarrassing that people are made to write a good review on Yelp to get a free home bleaching kit. They won't give estimates for work to be done until the treatment is started. read more
