Very shady people. When we told them we were paying with cash I am sure they just totaled it and did not ring it up.

Rude. Only allowed 5 people in. No cameras. Will never go to one of the estate sales run by them. Don't waste your time.

5 stars - Highly Recommend! We had a wonderful experience…read moreworking with Chris from Orion's Attic for the estate liquidation of my elderly aunt's home. From the beginning, he was professional, compassionate, and incredibly organized. He kept us updated throughout the entire process, sharing photos of his progress and maintaining excellent communication every step of the way.

I was lucky enough to find Orion's Attic on ChaGPT. Chris went above and beyond my expectations…read more An elderly relative of mine with health issues lives alone and when I went to visit, I was devastated to see how cluttered and disorganized his home was. No one should live like that. Chris and his crew stepped in and cleared out all rooms, taking many items for donation and other items to be trashed. They cleared out his kitchen which had so many canned/boxed food items that were expired. Chris even moved items so they weren't a tripping hazard, he pointed out fire hazards too. He did all of this with compassion and understanding, even recommending a company to help with ongoing cleaning/care to avoid my relative's place returning to its unlivable state. He even provided tax documents for donated items. I live out of state and couldn't be there, and Chris communicated with me throughout the process, sending me videos as he progressed. I even got quotes from competitors who weren't as compassionate or affordable. I highly recommend Orion's Attic!! Chris is amazing!!

From day one, he truly listened to our needs and gave thoughtful recommendations about what would be a good long-term investment versus what might end up being a money pit. He wasn't the type to push for a quick sale--in fact, he pointed out property damage and issues we might've missed on our own, which really built our trust. He stood out among all the other real estate agents we attempted working with. Thanks to his guidance and expertise, we ended up getting our top-choice home in just eight days! The process was seamless from start to finish. Even recently, when we needed to relocate, Peter offered to help us find renters and has continued to be supportive. We'll absolutely be working with him again when it's time to sell. As first time home buyers, we felt we got amazing value for the services provided. Highly recommend Peter and the Red Cedar Real Estate team for anyone looking for a knowledgeable, genuine, and reliable agent.

The best way to describe Peter and Red Cedar is high touch, white glove - concierge service. Peter knew the market and had a powerful team of equally adept realty professionals. Nothing happened without Peter's knowledge and he always focused on what was best for us: Initially meeting through closing. Here's where the professionalism goes to another level - Peter builds relationships with his clients, throws mixers, and checked up on us a couple of times per year. And, he DIDN'T ASK US FOR THE NEXT DEAL each time he subtly checked in on us over 5 years! He and his team cares about you - long term not just to get a sale. After 5 years of relationship building, we called Peter and the Red Cedar team for support. He came over. We completed representation paperwork, his AMAZING 360 degree Ariel and interior video/photography genius turned up and transformed our house into a buyer's beacon that sold our home within 24-48 hours of posting - FULL PRICE OFFER!!!! This is Red Cedar - all day long. After getting an offer, Peter and his team coordinate every document, appointment, and follow-up like a well oiled machine. The signing appointment was completely painless without any hiccups in the paperwork or payout - again, Peter and Red Cedar are professionals and the service providers (Ex. Title Company) were exceptional too. Thanks Peter and Red Cedar for your exemplary support, education, and caring over 5 years!

5/20/2025 - 5/20/2025 Kim your review has nothing to do with…read morethe actual conditions of this building. The rental office staff have no choice but to be professional if they want people to move into this dilapidated building. Instead of Southern Management investing in replacing the entire elevator system, the tenants have to constantly deal with the elevators going out of service every other month. The plumbing in this building is horrible. You can hear water running through the walls. They recently shut the water off for the following units: #13A - 103A, 15A-105A & 24A- 104A last week due leakages. Last night the police were called because a tenant pulled a gun out on another tenant in the laundry room. You have tenants stealing peoples clothes from the dryers. You have drug sales being conducted right in front of the building. Last week there was a truck parked in the Calder sac with two people making out in their truck. When I opened my blinds and took a picture of their vehicle they pulled off in a panic. The rental office allows people to park in the Calder sac area for hours knowing there are seniors and handicapped residents on the patio levels with health issues. I've asked management to monitor the vehicles parked for hours, but they could care less. When you call the towing company, they said the rental office has to be the one to make the call. If Southern management would place a cameras outside of the building they would see what goes on when the rental office is closed. The HVAC system is a joke. The units resemble the air/heating units you would find in a hotel. You walk over to the unit and flip open the control area to select a "colored" option. It's so outdated, it's ridiculous. The carpet selection is horrible. There's absolutely no cabinet space in the kitchen. They need to install knobs on the cabinets. If you decide to move into this building you will be faced with constant building and fire alarm issues. Period!! Please note that the staff are not going tell you anything regarding the building when move in. You will find after you've signed on the dotted line.

This has been my experience…read more Where do I begin? Fire alarms go off frequently, probably often caused by people smoking or forgetting about their ovens while obliterated on THC. You will be left wondering if the emergency is real or not. Expect several false fire alarms in a month. At this point, I don't even leave the apartment because the response time is not only lackluster, it is mediocre. Elderly, disabled individuals, and those with pets or children may especially feel concerned with the constant fire alarms--make sure you have an appropriate plan of action. Just to be safe, I would store any important documents in a fireproof container and have a solid course of action ready, in case one pothead's bad day truly comes to fruition. Though if you're neurotic about the fire alarms, your best bet is sitting out in your car and waiting for the Laurel Fire Department light show to do their song and dance. While on the topic of vehicles.... there are no parking lot cameras. There are frequent car break-ins. Do not expect any help in this regard. Paying for extra parking doesn't even register for me to mention in this review, because it just doesn't feel as pertinent as addressing the prevalent theft that occurs in this community. The front of the building is especially susceptible, and as is the back parking lot. This has occurred for several years. Instead of doing anything proactive, management will instead send emails telling you basically: "yep, it happened. Make sure if you see something, say something!". A broken mailbox door left a large portion of tenants unable to receive mail for several weeks, with management dragging their feet to resolve the issue. I was personally unable to receive several important letter documents that I didn't even know about until the box was finally fixed--I repeat: IT WAS NOT FIXED FOR SEVERAL WEEKS. Management will drag their feet on ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. I frequently have seen police at the property / in the leasing office with apartment residents. I wonder if frustrations have frequently bubbled over regarding poor service? I passed by one incident once, and they mentioned rent. While I have never had any issues with paying rent - as I have always been on time - the website used to pay is VERY buggy, VERY laggy, and just to make sure, I always print receipts and verify payment because how strangely unresponsive it can be. I have visited the office several times due to concerns about not being able to pay on time due to the website being down - though not everyone has access to a computer to spam refresh on 24/7, so the accessibility of the website is another poor feature. "Verizon" solicitors will knock on your door at the strangest hours, uninvited and unannounced. There is no designated mail room - during 'office hours', packages are brought into the leasing office. When the office is closed (and trust me, it will be often), your beloved Amazon delivery may be delivered right outside of the building (worst case, the deliveryman cannot enter the building and just drops all packages at the front door), or outside of the office at a desk in the main office. I tend to obsessively track my packaging as I worry about theft for this reason, though I'm sure less scrupulous individuals have taken advantage of poor mail delivery In my first month moving in, I experienced several leaks. You will be going back-and-forth with maintenance, who may not believe you have an issue... until it gets worse. They're friendly and responsive though, and it's always appreciated when the work gets done. When you open your window, you will be serenaded by the melody of your neighbors fighting/arguing, and the heavy smell of marijuana. If you enjoy an exciting, economic environment, or you're strapped for a place to go, then sure, stop by. Middletowne is conveniently in the heart of Laurel, and in walking distance from several shopping centers. The apartment complex is surrounded by nice neighborhoods, although the local high school has a very dysfunctional, rowdy youth population that makes going out during the day exhausting. (Expect to see high-school students out and about during all school hours, playing hooky and hanging out in local shops and restaurants, 'enriching' the area.) The overall experience of living here has been chaotic, neglectful, and frustrating. Think carefully before moving in--this place is not worth the headaches.
