I was not given a window, but a time of 9:00am. This time, they were 2 hours late and seemed baffled that I was expecting them at 9 instead of 9-11. I ended up doing a lot of the job by myself. We worked with the same salesman, Bill, as my folks did and he was very good. He is very knowledgeable about his products and very willing to work with you to fit you with a good product at a good price. What I liked best was the price they gave you was the price you sign for. I got 4 other estimates from a mix of box stores and local stores and the price each provided kept fluctuating. My install was last Friday and besides one hitch, which was remedied quickly, I am very happy. The carpet looks great. The installers were clean, efficient and courteous. I already recommended Bill to a co-worker and he has since bought carpet from them.

We had this all done at a really busy time for us (in hindsight, this was the mistake on our part), as we all know that these days, if you want good-quality work with installs/contractors, you have to micromanage and helicopter it, it seems. We took his word for it on a couple of things and shouldn't have. When he came to measure, I pointed to a spot where there is a dip in our basement, he said they would repair it upon installation. I was at work when the carpet was installed, and when I realized a couple of weeks later that the dip was still there, he tried to gaslight me - saying they would never agree to repair something like that, as it is not something they do since it would be concrete work, to repair a basement foundation issue. He said someone would come check it out, but they never did. It's been 2-3 months now. I had also asked him, while he was at our house, how much would need to be moved/put away. He said, "you don't have to worry about anything but just the little things and anything breakable". My husband questioned this the night before installation, as he noticed the contract stated that most things needed to be cleared, but I told him not to worry about it because Jonathan said we didn't need to. The crew tried to charge us extra fees for having to move stuff or said they would come back another day after we took care of it, but they then wanted to charge us $200-300 for not getting to do the job that day. We fought back on this, so we ultimately did not pay this fee. Jonathan was very condescending throughout this whole experience, playing dumb and somehow forgetting what he said to me. Don't trust what he says and just read the fine print.

We really didn't know much about the newer style tiles or grouts and she was a huge help. We were never pressured about what we liked and she really steered us to the best selections for our bathroom. I would recommend Morris to anyone....and the experience was better than that tile place near the big hardware store on Mountain Road. We were remodeling an old tub to a stand up shower and needed tiles and other supplies for the job…read more We purchased beautiful tiles by Roca, grout by Mapei, a Schluter niche frame, chrome jolly strips and green waterproof sealant for the walls. The salespeople helped me select the tiles and educated me about the paint and all the Schluter products to make my project contemporary and beautiful. They also recommended colors for the grout and the smooth multi stone trim tile for the niche and floor. The only place they failed was in providing me a sufficient amount of Jolly strips for the edges of the shower and the niche. They sold me 3 instead of 4 causing the contractor to have to return to the shop to get the fourth strip. That's why they get 4 stars instead of 5. Prices and quality were very good with no damaged tiles.
