She's wonderful and really good at what she does…read more I don't think she's taking on a lot of new clients at this point but from what I've seen and heard, there are a number of incredibly talented stylists here who do wonders with color and cut. I like the location and find it as a fun excuse to come to Norfolk and shop around while here in all the good little places nearby. It shares the same parking lot as the Norfolk May's Parlor so - hey - when in Rome! It has it's own parking lot which can be crowded at peak times but there is also street and nearby parking if you have to overflow. The salon is large and open and modern with beautiful and clean spaces and a nice exposed brick. There are probably 20 stations inside for stylists. Bathroom was very clean and well-kept. It can get a bit hectic inside on a busy weekend day but the vibe is easygoing and staff are friendly. They sell plenty of product inside.

My hair is thick and she texturized it well evened it up and made it look nice. I was told to pic a color, but, I have to be honest here, there was really no choice to make for me. They had very dull color choices and not very many which totally surprised me. I kept saying that nothing was interesting to me. Anyhow, finally decided (all the while being not happy with color). Might I add that this was the most expensive pedicure that I ever paid for and I have traveled all over the world. It was so basic, they don't even trim up the cuticles around the nail, they do nothing to the areas around the nails. NEVER had that happen before. They look horrible to me. She had to keep polishing one of the nails, or should I say half of my nail, over and over to try and get it right. (never did) Just a VERY TERRIBLE experience. Lesson learned.
