First these reviews are bogus as they apply to the former location over a period of years. They've only just moved to the Palmdale location several months ago so how can they have reviews older than several months? The photos are all of the old location as well. Some of the names mentioned in the reviews here don't even work for this location. Hmmmm sounds like they're playing games. Second my husband was a long term customer of theirs but the recent service experience ended the relationship permanently. They damaged his bike and lied about it but offered to repaint the damaged part. Their ridiculous explanation was the cowbell damaged the lower fork? That's physically impossible. When my husband advised he would file a warranty claim with HD Corporate they strongly advised against it. Why, because they knew they damaged the bike. They failed to perform a comprehensive 20,000 mile service per the manufacturer's recommendations, on a 2024 bike purchased from them. This was one of the reasons he brought the bike to them. They had the bike for a month and did nothing but offer excuses (on a new 2024 model which he purchased from them.) He had to run interference with their team to be sure they did the work. They have no customer service acumen since Gary retired. They have insufficiently skilled, experienced technicians. They lowballed him by $13,000 on a trade in offer on his 2024 Street Glide in an effort to sell him another used bike on the floor. I mean seriously. They made him a trade in offer, he declined, they went to the back room, returned shortly and suddenly came up with 13k more as their offer. They treat customers like fools and don't respect them. Upon completion of the work they did not provide a customer service survey. Upon calling Corporate my husband made certain to complete one and filed a complaint reciting the list of problems. Don't trust them for new sales, used bike sales or ANY mechanical work. Run don't walk to Santa Clarita Harley Davidson. read more

I can't tell you how great the people here are. I had an amazing experience with Mike Langlotz, and John Grimm. John made contact letting me know the bike I was interested in was available. When I arrived Mike was on site to help us. I was nervous about the process, and wanted to learn info on different bikes I couldn't get just online. I was there with my wife and son, and he spent quality time explaining everything. I had lots of questions as I was a first time buyer, and an inexperienced rider trying to get a introductory bike, and then plan for two additional purchases later for my wife and son when we upgraded. He was very patient, knowledgeable, and hell, he was funny. I liked him immediately. He covered different bikes, sizes displacment, ride heights, features, pricing, maintenance, road hazard on tires, oil changes, helmets, and other protective gear. He was absolutely amazing. As someone not into motorcycles at all, I only came in here to Christmas shop for my father. Getting him a Harley Davidson T Shirt from different places I go is starting to turn into a tradition. The lady inside was super helpful and friendly. She pointed me out to the shirts and explained that there are different designs for the fronts and backs, and how theyre arranged. I ended up getting one with some cool jets on it as Lancaster and Palmdale are big in the aerospace industry. Overall a pleasant experience in a nice, clean store. read more

I took my bike in for their $120 diagnostic service. My bike was sitting for a year it wouldn't start so I replaced my fuel pump, fuel regulator , fuel filter , quick check line and Efi fuel line. First call from the service rep was I have a linked fuel line inside the tank and needed to be replaced and adjusted. I went In to the dealership he showed me and I approved the additional hour of labor to fix and replace it. He assured me that was it. Next call I needed to replace all the above. Everything was totally clogged and everything inside the tank (which is brand new parts) ruined. I told him to fix the kinked line and that's it. Then I get a call they fixed the line but the fuel PSI is low and I need new fuel injectors. I had enough and picked up the bike after paying $240 for nothing. I took the bike to another mechanic explained what AV Harley said. Day later I came by his shop he showed me the line was not fixed. It was still bent they never turned the filter to straighten out the line. He turned the filter, placed a new line and boom bike started. The bike idled high. It's never done that before. 2 days later he found that's pin was bent in the idle air control. That is only used to diagnose. It has never been opened or used. He fixed that as well and now the bike runs like new. Had I listened to AV Harley I would have replaced my fuel pump, fuel regulator , quick check line , fuel filter , fuel injectors costing well over $1,500-$2,000. I bought two bikes from AV Harley. I waited a little more than six months to write a review because everyone is happy right after they buy their bike, right? But I am still completely happy with the bikes, the service, the response I've had from them. I had a flat tire from a nail and they replaced the tire on warranty and had it back to me in a day. My wife's sporty had an issue with the throttle and they fixed it and had it back in less than two days because we just bought it a few months earlier. They're knowledgeable, friendly and do what they can to have a happy customer. Service and the parts counter people are great, the sales team are amazing and finance works miracles. The guy working in the PARTS department on 09-25-2022 was very rude and unprofessional. He's listening to music while talking to customers and was very discourteous. They marked up their prices higher than the official Harley Davidson website and claimed the part number was different when the part was completely the same. He didn't want to look it up, he rolled his eyes, and told me to go buy it on the website instead. You don't say that to customers in a rude manner, there's a way to be tactful and kind. Just had my 01 Glide serviced with tires, All I can say "Made Right , Fit Right Last Longer". Did not need to tell them anything like tire size, they knew (as they should) what it needed. I dropped by no appointment (next time I will make one), no problem told them no rush, next morning I called, bike ready no issues. Price came in at what I excepted, clean, corect wheel weights, (not stick on's) speaks of good detailed service you should expect. When my son decided on buying a bike, no hesitations, took him to AV Harley, and was not disappointed. This review is solely based on the Riders Edge Course which is held here on a monthly basis (I took mine in the month of March). Denyce and Tom Evert are completely awesome and a wonderful team that happen to be married, surprisingly not everyone gets that. This class is a bit pricey, however being that I have never been on a motorcycle before...I appreciated learning the basics in the classroom as well as the range and I want to be a safe rider when I finally get around to buying my first bike and not a splat on the road. It was a small class 8-10 people, there is classroom time Thursday-Monday totalling 30 hours altogether, it is for 3 hours during weeknights and pretty much all day on the weekend days. This class is not just for beginners, I was the only person in the class that was never on a motorcycle before. Many people owned their own bikes and taking this class waives the practical exam for the California DMV, you still need to take the written exam. I feel that they made everything fun and had enough breaks and I took something away from the class and truly feel like I am a better driver on the road and am aware of my surroundings better. The best part is all of the range driving you do on the weekend! The bikes are dinky to most 392cc Buells, but I am petite so they were perfect for me. And the class is small enough that they can give you a little bit of individual attention if you need it and really are supportive and don't rush you through the "road" test....and I was one nervous little brown girl on a motorcycle too big for her, but if I passed anyone can! We had a graduation ceremony on Monday after taking the written test where they grade you at the same time. We had a fun award ceremony, with funny certificates given to everyone...mine was the "OHhh so that's how it's done" award and a yummy cake at the end. We also got some goody bags and a USB that had a bunch of pictures on it that Denyce took through the course of the class. I cannot recommend this class enough at this particular location with Denyce and Tim! read more

Talking to Dillon was like being in someone's garage and buying a bike "For Sale By Owner". We were on a motorcycle ride and stopped in to see if they had any jackets. When we asked in we saw this stunning CVO 2023 Anniversary Limited Edition and began to sweat. I knew from 1st sight I wanted it but when Sunny came over and started talking about all the features I knew we were sold. UPDATE #2: well I guess we can't all stay on top forever. I had to sell my bike, so I went through these guys and lost a sale. They want you to pay them to list your bike on their site. That's totally fair. But my bike was worth $5500 and after their commission, I was set to lose 10%, so naturally, I listed it higher with them to make us both happy. Then I also placed a separate ad for the actual asking price trying to maximize exposure. Then I get an email from someone interested in my bike for the lower price. Okay. Later that day HD calls saying someone is interested. Okay. I took the bike to HD because I couldn't be there when the customer arrived. I was told they'd call me. That whole day went by and no call. I called the next day and was told the sale didn't go through. Okay. Contacted the person who emailed me and asked if she was still interested and she told me that she saw my bike, but decided to buy a different one at HD THAT WAS HIGHER PRICED THAN MINE! NOT COOL! Then I come to find out that the person who emailed me and the customer at HD WAS THE SAME PERSON! Again NOT COOL! I went to get my bike and was told that my business wasn't welcome at HD anymore. Wow. Mind you this was about three years ago and I don't remember names but that was enough to convince me not to buy another Harley Davidson - assuming I even buy another bike at all, which I haven't. read more
