Had a tough case of chronic Costochondritis. 2 years of stubborn symptoms. They gave me a lot of care to reduce symptoms, but it wasn't just that. Dr Di Liberto also did a great job of checking in and recommending the right at home treatment/exercises to cure it long term. I'm now fit and pain free after many months of chipping at the problems. My wife and I had been to Dr. DiLiberto a few times 3-4 years ago. His office is very close to home and he holds evening hours, which made it convenient. He and his staff seemed nice enough and services provided were OK but nothing extraordinary (massage, some adjustment, and electric stim, as previous review mentioned). I grew up with many years of chiropractic care to keep me tuned up, so I do have basis of comparison and have been to much better providers. Fast forward to this past week. We were in a minor fender bender and she is experiencing a little neck discomfort. We initiated a claim with insurance, made an appointment with Dr. Di, and provided his office with the insurance claim # and claims handler contact info. They asked for our declaration page, which I declined, stating (at the instruction of my reputable insurance company) they do not need the declaration page and can contact the insurance company for billing information. The response I got over the phone was "ok, I will let the doctor know." She shows up in the evening and he REFUSES SERVICE to her without the declaration page. Furthermore, he wants her to fill out a full incident report and sign lien paperwork giving him first rights to any legal settlements that may materialize (unlikely). The situation escalated to the point that she returned home quite upset at the tone he took with her. He expressed that he doesn't work with the insurance company because "they work for you." Yea dude, we are the insurance company's client just like we are your client, we are all playing for the same team to ensure we are healthy. We have insurance for a reason, and there are strict guidelines for billing and the whole process. He's obviously out for his own pocket and to cover his own a$$, not looking out for the best interest of his patients. She was very hesitant to fill out the detailed incident report and lien, and told him if this was expected he should have provided the paperwork when we made the appointment so she could read through and understand it ahead of time, and that he wasted her time by having her come in and then refusing service based on us not providing all the info he is requesting. He responded like a child that she wasted his time, too. It got loud, he told her to get him the information and she could reschedule for Friday. She walked out, and we will obviously not be rescheduling. He should have told me when I called earlier in the day that no declaration page, no service. I likely would have cancelled the appointment and gone elsewhere, but at least no one's time would have been wasted. I suspect that he figures once people are in the office, they are more likely to just concede and fill out whatever is needed to get his care, so he would not provide that info ahead of time. Called my insurance company this morning to get it noted that we did not receive service from this provider and explain what happened. She made it very clear that he absolutely does not need the declaration page, incident report, or lien in order to provide service. She had some choice words about this type of thing that she "sees all the time," and is glad we did not play his game. She offered a list of referrals who understand the process, and are friendly and vetted. I thought of Dr. Di because he is local and we have been to him in the past for chiropractic "tune-ups." He showed his true colors this time when we needed care. If that's how he runs his business, that's his business... We are not so desperate for his services and will NOT be returning. Plenty of other chiropractors and physical therapists in the area to choose from. I haven't written a Yelp review on any establishment in quite some time, but feel compelled to do so in this case. The day I injured my back with two bulges and two herniations I was able to get in the door the same day... Back in Sept... And have seen an improvement to better then before since! I have listened to Dr and followed the rehab routine and it makes a big difference. Anthony is the best at what he does, period. He knows how to treat his clients and never rushes you. He is honest and is not one of those doctors out to squeeze every penny out of their patients. I messed up my back in the summer and walked around with the pain for 2 and a half month before coming here based on a friend's recommendation. My first consultation consisted of talking about my medical history, how I hurt myself, where it hurts, how long should I expect my treatment to be...etc. It has been almost 2 months since I've first received treatment, and I am in minimal to no pain! The receptionist Michelle is super sweet as well. I have a tendency to fall asleep after my electric node treatment (no idea what medical term is, but super comfortable), Michelle always comes in quietly and tries not to disturb. You can also easily make, reschedule, or cancel appointments easily. You will always get a confirmation e-mail afterwards. All they need is an iPhone app! I am not one that is easily pleased, but I AM pleased with Dr Liberto's MAD chiropractic skills! =) Highly recommend! read more

I have been going here for almost three years now and I can't even begin to explain how amazing Dr. D is! During my first appointment he was very thorough and made sure to check all the boxes before he did any adjustments. I have some bad discs on my back so he reviewed the tests before starting work on me to make sure he doesn't hurt anything further. He is always very thorough and will go out of his way to help you! I came to this chiropractor at probably 5 months pregnant. I've never had back pain in my life until 2/3 months into my pregnancy. I was really looking for an office that was close to my apt. so I could walk there without a problem. The other chiropractors treated my back pain like a catastrophe. They wanted physical therapy, 3-4 times a week when I just wanted an adjustment with some exercises to do at home. I went to 3 different offices before finding this one. This chiro is chatty but not in a fake way. He asked very relevant question for my situation and answered my concerns, and gave suggestion as to the type of exercises that I can do while in my third trimester. If i come in and tell them I'm having shoulder pain or a specific back pain, they are able to work out that muscle at my session and I always come out feeling so much better. They also let me know if something is off or feels tight. This is important since most forms of pain relief is not an option for me. The only thing I would say I do not like about the office is the music can be very loud at times. Its also the radio which is kind of annoying with commercials. They should probably be able to subscribe to some kind of music service that does not have commercials that yell at you while you are laying down with have a heat pack on for 10 min. BUT that does not reflect the service I receive. I never wait more than a few minutes in the lobby. Don't stick with one doctor/office just because. I feel like you have to find the right fit, the right kind of service you are looking for because you are THE CUSTOMER. It doesn't matter if they are your primary doctor, OBGYN, midwife, a chiropractor, a surgeon, a yoga teacher. If you don't feel their vibe, move on because you are in charge of your health and the kind of service you get is the kind of service you allow yourself to deserve. read more

Dr. D has completely changed my life. He doesn't just crack my back, but he listens and recommends actions for me to take outside of our sessions. This is where his true value lies; in the way he influences you to change bad habits. Despite his tremendous skill (the adjustments and electric/heat therapy feel great) he has always been honest about the limitations of what he can do, and gives me great exercise advice. Long over-due praise for Dr. Di Liberto and his staff. I have been a patient for about 10 years -- the first time I met him, I was experiencing a neck spasm so severe that even lying still was excruciating. His receptionist got me in the same day, and within a few visits, the issue improved and subsided. Since then, I've kept up a maintenance program (it's not one-and-done folks!) with the Doctor and he's been with me through one injury after another. I have worked with several chiropractors over the years, and rarely experienced the caring spirit that Dr. Di Liberto brings to the table. He takes as much time as needed, and explains how body mechanics works clearly and thoroughly. And unlike some chiropractors, who seem hostile toward "traditional" medicine, Dr. Di Liberto lets me know when it's time to visit the internist. I initially was looking for a back doctor, that had more insight into the athletic individual and was not quick to crack your back, just because. I'm definitely a handful and Anthony worked patiently with me and my back conditions, to the point where I trusted him to do what was needed in order to make me better. A trust, I never had with anyone else. Anthony also started treating my knee injury a few months back and assisted me during a painful time, where I could barely walk. I first went to Dr Anthony Di Liberto late in 2016. I was very cautious as I have had ongoing issues with my spine for years and having just moved to the U.S.A. I wasn't sure what to expect nor who to trust. Michelle and Anthony put me at ease immediately, they not only took care of all the calls to insurance but they took the time to educate me on how it works and what they would do before they did it. The same respect carried through all my interactions with them from bookings to treatments. a waste of my time. It took him a month to figure out that I have herniated disc. what he should have done from the get go was to have me get an MRI. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has a herniated disc. Save yourself the time and go see an orthopedic surgeon or a physical therapist. He also didn't want me to get physical therapy right away which didn't make any sense to me. nothing special here. All he does is massage you and performs electrical simulation which is done when you go to any physical therapy except at physical therapy you also learn all the moves and exercises to strengthen your back. read more
