I just received a call from Roto Rooter explaining that Safety Insurance is deducting the $1000.00 from there payment to them. I asked Roto Rooter why I was misled, and they replied that in 20 years this has never happened that the insurance company subtracts the deductible from their payment . I guess we choose our insurance company unwisely.

I've seen other posts saying leaving this company is quite the hassle but I recently bundled my home and auto with liberty mutual and when I cancelled my insurance I had little to no issue, only thing was on my end (I'm horrible at checking my emails) as I forgot to sign the cancellation paperwork. Very afforadable, if I didn't find cheaper with bundling I'd likely still have this home insurance!

Every time I call it seems like a bother but I didn't let it affect me, I like supporting small business. After being a customer for 3 years, I felt like these people would work with my new car purchase. Nope. Considering I have never walked in this place I felt that transferring cars would be easy. It took them over a week to tell me what my new payment would be. When I finally got an answer, it was going to more than double!!! Wish washy answers. To avoid that new payment being deducted, I found better insurance at a little bit higher than what I was originally paying. Sent them a letter of transfer of insurance. Called to see if it's all set, they said yes but a payment was still going to come out since they didn't have 10 days notice. What? You didn't give me 10 days notice of my new payment! What a joke, don't do it - go direct with an insurer.
