I have been seeing Dr. Bae for more years than I can remember. Maybe more than 30 years. He is my primary physician. I am 78. Doctors today have more patients than ever before. Today's patients do not pay their doctor for time with phone calls and emails (and that could change). At least, I have not been billed for such. And yes, it takes the doctor away for actually seeing a person (or persons). Dr. Bae has referred me to good physicians when I needed specialist. Yes, his time with patients is short when possible because he has so many of us. My experiences with Dr. Bae have been very good. I trust his diagnosis and recommendations. I am always glad to see Dr. Bae when I need help with my health. I recommend his care. read more

Poor people skills. He will refuse to see you if you miss an appointment. I suggested to him that his staff should make reminder calls the night before to ensure that the patient does not miss an appointment. He became defensive and said that it is the patient's responsibility to remember. I reiterated that I am not blaming him, it is not his fault but it would help. He needs to attend one of those seminars in good customer relationship. He might be a good doctor but sucks when dealing with people. If you want someone who gets irritated, knows it all, then go to Dr. Anthony Bae, MD. I should score a zero if that rating is available. read more

Dr Bae has been my primary for about 5 years. The first time I saw him was after a major auto accident that occurred out of state. We were in for a check-up and referral to a neurosurgeon. He was wonderful and kind to my husband and I, so both of us became clients of Dr. Bae. He asks thoughtful and sensitive questions to ensure that I receive the best care for my cervical spinal cord injury. He is a knowledgeable, gentle and kind spirit with a perfect personality and temperament to help you through any minor or major physical ailments you may have. He thoroughly explains about your condition and offers ways to prevent and improve too. I also love hearing his personal stories which allows his clients to connect with him. Will NOT be returning to Dr Bae, he had horrible bedside manner, I was a brand new patient and he barely looked me in the eye, he basically looked at my stats then proceeded to spend the entire appointment grilling me on how over weight I am, even went so far as to tell me what I need to stop eating (even though he never actually asked me what kind of diet I am on or the fact that I am an avid runner and weight lifter and just finished a half marathon) he actually lectured me to stop eating foods I don't even eat! Never mind that he didn't take the time to ask me any questions about my lifestyle which is in fact very healthy. He looked at my height and weight and made a snap judgement and proceeded to berate me and make me feel bad. Horrible horrible Dr I plan on letting EVERYONE I know to avoid him. read more

I love his thoroughness and I would highly recommend him. I've read the other reviews and totally disagree -- he has made room for both my father and me on short notice when my father suffered a serious fall. My expeience with Dr. Bae was very uneventful until my blood test came back with some bad results. He recommended a CT exam and a bladder exam (only one way to see the bladder...ouch). I was more than willing to take his advise and did everything I could to make myself healthier. My problem with Dr. Bae is that he has ZERO people skills. Because I was now worried about my health, I would use the St. Jude app to email him questions and concerns I was having. After about the 5th email he writes back "please limit your emails, everytime I have to reply back to you, it takes me away from my work" WTF, I am his work. He gets paid a ton of money to help me. I will never go back to him, and will tell everyone who will listen to stay away from Dr. Anthony Bae. I can't wait for the next St Jude customer survey. read more
