I got an A.V. Pedicure and it was AMAZING! Sometimes you get a premium pedicure and it doesn't feel premium but I will definitely come back for this. I didn't have to ask for the complimentary drink, it was offered to me the moment I sat down and I love when I don't have to ask! You know you have complimentary drinks on this package, why not offer?? Can't say enough how much they get points from me for that. Mimi did my pedicure and she was so polite, detailed oriented, and professional. The shop is larger than it appears when you walk in. They play HGTV and the cooking shows, which I absolutely love!! I went in today for the first time hoping for a nice treat for myself. Instead I got a nail tech that would not look me in the eye or even the face during the whole time we interacted. I started to chit chat and he said "are you talking to me?" Why yes, I am. What an odd thing to say to your customer. He did talk to the nail tech and client next to us, however. SoHis name was Eric. Also my nails had the thickest coat of paint, which the top coat is dry but over an hour later I just managed to "accordion style" smudge it on something in my bag. Terrible service, not great result. I spoke to the manager about the rudeness and she had no solutions or even an actual apology. I met up with some friends for a nail date with of course some fun catching up and fixing up our nails. Anthony Vince Salon took care of us right away. I went on a weeknight so maybe that's why they were not that busy, I believe you can make a reservation if you don't want to risk waiting. My nail technician was Jenny. I highly recommend her. She was smiling and laughing the entire time while my friend Nida was telling a crazy story. But at the same time, Jenny was also great in communication because I told her I wanted my feet looking real good since the Florida heat this summer has not been kind to them. Result- I decided to get the speciality pedicure with paraffin mask for my feet. Felt so good and relaxing. It was worth spending the extra money on because my feet feel baby soft. She did a great job on my feet and hands. This particular pedicure comes with 1 free glass of wine, but since I don't drink alcohol, they gave me a water bottle. Also currently at this location you can get a glass of wine when you check in on yelp. Overall, the standards at AV nail salon are great and they keep up with making the customers happy. From the rushed job, to no cuticles being cut, and for $40.. very unhappy. I usually pay $24 for hands and feet (regular) but had to do my nails last minute because I'm going out of town and $40 is not that bad.. BUT.. for this job I wouldn't pay more than $10 realistically. Asking her to cut more cuticle meant I'd hear her speak her native language w the other ladies and I can only imagine what she was saying.. anyways.. not much was done. I tried to speak to her and she barely mumbled a "mhm." I could have saved myself $43 and done my nails myself! My first two visits went well! They did a great job! The third visit, was horrible! Wanting to rush me out!Tony did my nails. I thought it strange that-he didn't put polish remover and foil on my nails. He just reshaped the nail and dipped them in the powder. Even though i said two nails were separating from my nails. The worst part is he changed me $10.00 more than what they had changed me in the past.. I was in and out in less than 40 min. They all have fallen off in less than two weeks and the two fingers that had the lose nails now have fungus. My nail beds are green and they hurt. I have been a valued customer here for almost two years. I recommended my nail tech on more than one occasion. I have my family go to him and to be treated the way I was is super disheartening to say the least. I had an appointment I scheduled at 4:30pm (i know this bc all of my appt times are this time being that my husband gets home from work at 4). Ok, they send reminders the day of to cancel or confirm. My mistake was assuming it was the time I scheduled for abs just dismissing the text. Honestly mistake on my end that i have NEVER done in the almost two years going there. So, as I'm walking out the door at 4:10 to go to my nail appt i receive a call from the receptionist asking where i was. I said i am on my way being that my appt was at 4:30. He states "no it is at 4 did you not get the text?" I said i did but i dismiss it but it was at 4:30. This is when things get heated. He (receptionist) begins to tell me that i just made Don (nail tech) Wait 10 minutes and that he is missing out on money because of me and asking when i can be there. I said it was an honest mistake and i can be there within 15 minutes even if it's just for half of my appt. the receptionist hangs up on me. I call back and said "you just hung up on me". He says "well are you coming or not?" At this point I'm in total shock but i love(d) my nail tech and i felt bad that i was "making him" lose money that i said "well i rather him make money even if it's half the appt" and he says "ok we will see you soon" I get there at 4:30 on the dot. I ask the receptionist "do i need to pick a color?" He says "just wait here and Don will let you know". Ok. I sat and waited. Don comes up to the register and speaks their language and leaves and the reception tells me "he doesn't want to take you". I'm in disbelief at what just came out of his mouth and sad "what?" He said "being that you made him wait 30 minutes at this point he doesn't want to take you". I said "well can you say it was a mistake and i apologize and even if it's for half the appt it's better than nothing" He said i will ask but he said no already. Don comes back up, they speak the language, and shakes his head no again and walks away. I couldn't believe how they were treating me! I said "so he rather lose a client and they clients i refer to him over 30 minutes?" And the receptionist tells me "he doesn't want to deal with clients like you". WHAT?!! Like me?! I couldn't believe it and he then asks if i would like to go to someone else!! Ummmmm NO WAY WILL I EVER SPEND A DIME TO AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT TREATS PEOPLE LIKE THIS!! I have never been shunned like this and for them to make me drive to the salon for him to dismiss me is belittling to say the least. He (receptionist) knew what time i was going to arrive and still had me drive to get shunned by him I don't care how good someone is at their job. When you treat people like this they don't deserve business on any level! No one is worth that. This place is the pits! I've been getting my nails done for 35 years and have very high expectations. This place is like a modern day sweatshop. Nothing friendly about this establishment from entering to leaving. The tech was aggressive with moving my legs/ feet around kind of barking orders to me. They actually up charge a pedicure $8 for exfoliating your feet and legs. Manicure & signature pedicure( up charge) took only one hour which means that they blew through it. This is at least 1.5 hours at other salons which is the ultimate relaxation. Nothing relaxing and enjoyable about this experience. read more

Very disappointed today... I took my 5 year old for a mani & pedi as a walk-in (to be done together). I explain this upon walk-in and they have me sign in and tell me we will be seen together within 5-30 minutes... weird timing but no problem... my daughter and I wait for 40 minutes and then they call me... we walk back (thinking it's for both of us), but the pedicure chair is between two already taken chairs. I ask, what about her and they say "oh she can wait upfront for her turn..." I walk up to the front and talked to the manager who says "oh we are too busy now to do both of you together... she can wait for later" I am extremely disappointed - they couldn't accommodate us after they said they would, wasted 40 minutes of our time, told me to come back tonight at 6p and to top it off, they made my 5 year old cry.... Needless to say, we will not return nor will we recommend this place ever again... (until today) - we went there every few weeks - I guess our business is no longer needed. #disappointed read more

This place was wonderful. The nail salon I typically go to was fully booked the day I needed my nails done for prom. Jennifer was awesome. She was so kind, did an amazing job, and anytime I requested something she did it without a complaint. I'm very happy with the services I received from this nail salon, and will be going back. Compared to my usual nail salon, the prices are a high. But, I do think you get what you're paying for. I would also like to mention, I changed my mind on what I wanted done to my nails (which would alter my scheduled appointment). I'm normally a glass half full kind of personality and definitely no Karen but the lady that took care of me did a horrible job and complained about her job the entire time. Then had the audacity to be blatantly racist. I was getting acrylics and she had the audacity to say that she only likes doing white women's nails because we aren't as picky(pretty much that she could get away with a horrible job) and with black women they want extravagant nails done well. AND THEN tried to get me to agree. I've never been more uncomfortable getting my nails done. If blatant racism isn't enough to convince you not to come she did the acrylic so thin on my nails that within a week they became painful and would bend easily. I had recently gone to Anthony Vince for a pedicure. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience. The pedicurist gave me a pearl pedicure which hurt terribly. They pushed their finger nails into my toes and left cuts in the top of both my toes. I did try to call the owner/manager but they were not in or off the days I called. At first i didn't feel the pain due to my toes most likely being numb. Now my big toes still have cuts in the top of my toes and are very painful. I have no clue why they put so much pressure in the top of my big toes with their finger nails but I'm in real pain. read more

The first time I went here, the nail tech did a fabulous job on my Dip Powder manicure. She clearly knew what she was doing and they lasted for 3 weeks before I got them redone. They really would have lasted a whole month, but I wanted to trim them. I decided to come back to this salon since the first time was great and it was like I was at a totally different place. The nail tech seemed like she had very little experience with dip powder and my nails came out lumpy, misshapen, and they had cracks in them after only a day or two. She also shaped them in such a weird way, every nail looked different and it just wasn't a flattering look. I understand that not all nail techs will be on the same level of experience, but if you know that your technician does not have enough experience in Dip Powder to do it, DON'T LET THEM DO IT. I also opted to have my brows waxed. The shape is fine, but the very next day I had major breakouts all over my eye brows where the wax had been. Not a coincidence and now I have a bunch of pimples that are just now going away after a week and a half from the waxing. Overall I will not be back. It seems that if you want a basic gel mani or pedicure this place is fine, but if you want a salon full of consistent techs who care about their craft go elsewhere. I thought on a Sunday id go and treat myself to a nice nex gen manicure. WRONG. awfully rushed and PAINFUL. She cut me at least three times, then left all the spots all over my skin! Didn't even bother to clean up her job! Won't be back again, I've had the pedicure and it was just as awful. Go to Vanity nails MUCH better. Did I mention she didn't even give me lotion?
