unfortunately I did not have a great experience here at all. I got my nails done early Saturday morning by a man who worked there. I was watching him do my nails and noticed things were looking very messy. I hoped that in the end he would be fixing them up and that I just needed to trust the process. I have never walked out of a nail place with my nails looking horrible. I was almost in tears. I don't know how this man is even doing nails or how they would let anyone walk out looking like I did. Please don't waste your money. I paid $50 for a fill and new paint and when I went home I had to take my polish off and do my nails myself. Have been to this nail salon many times in the past. But their made up pricing is getting out of control! Took my 8yr old today and for 2 basic and rushed mani & pedis and an eyebrow wax they charged $90! $35 dollars for a basic (no glitter, no design) mani & pedi for an 8yr old, that is beyond ridiculous! $10 for an eyebrow wax (fair) and then $45 for a basic, no frills clear polish mani- & pedi for me... absolutely absurd!! All of the techs were very nice but definitely NOT worth the price. Will be taking my business elsewhere. There is not pricing listed anywhere, nor was a menu. read more

I'm a retired cosmetologist, so I know what the deal is with what's proper and what's not! As I was getting a Pedicure, another customer walked in, while in the middle of doing my Pedicure, she took on the other customer, and just left me half done so they wouldn't lose a customer. I was livid, and asked her (Kim) what are you doing we didn't finish my pedicure and you take on another customer, she didn't answer me. I went to the owner and she was sticking up for her, I said that's not right, the owner giggled and said she doesn't speak English, she only speaks Chinese, I said then what is she doing here! if she can't speak English and leaves me half done. Afterwards I heard her speaking English so that was a lie. She shouldn't be working here, if she doesn't speak English and leaves customers half done. I would stay far away from this nail salon. In addition the tools that were used were very dirty and unsanitary, they need to be closed down. They need to be inspected ASAP, Warning stay away! read more

I'm happy to see that the 2 other reviews are positive. Unfortunately, mine is not. I first went to this salon in 2013 and was fortunate to see Jade. She is Amazing...period. On my first visit I brought an older family member and treated him to a paraffin treatment. On my second visit one of the techs kept ridiculing me how he was my sugar daddy and spoke with the other techs, including the owners, in their native tongue...it must have been very funny. I was not comfortable. Just to be clear, a sugar daddy would pay for me. I still went back again because of Jade and ignored the staff AND owners. Many things happened, as I witnessed, to clients as I would see Jade. One instance, two friends came in and wanted pedicures and wanted to sit next to each other. The owner, Michael, would not allow it and they told them how rude they were and walked out. Another time, I saw roaches crawling on the wall in front of the kitchen. One of the owners, Bambi, IS racist. I was there on NYE 2014 and she was applying false eyelashes. There are 2 beds in that room. One lady was African American, having the same procedure done. When I asked Bambi how long they would last, I was told longer then black people because they don't shower like we do and theirs will last about 2 months. I was so embarrassed!! But, we were midway through the procedure and I needed it completed. Very RACIST!! I did continue to go back because of Jade, seeing the owners make so many mistakes in how they treated their clients. Jade did leave briefly and I tried a gentleman who did an ok job. Another time a gentleman did them and, since I choose black, it looked like I'd just been booked. I asked him to clean them up as Jade does and he refused. He had no apologies. It did finally come out after 3 days. But, again, very unprofessional. My last straw was recently. I had a Saturday 9:30 appt with Jade. I hurt my back during Matthew and was unable to even get out of bed. I texted Jade directly and did not call the salon. I WILL accept my end of the responsibility. I should've called the salon directly. I walked in the following Saturday at 9:30 and was lucky they were slow enough to accommodate me. My problem is this....Bambi, the owner, berated me loud enough so the ENTIRE salon could hear her. Very unprofessional!!! My husband owns a business and I've seen him pull people to the side to correct their actions. She had a customer at her table, as well as her husband Michael. Her intent was to embarrass me. She succeeded!! The rest of my visit, every client there gave me a look and not a good one. I happened to walk into a nail salon at BB Blvd and Congress. The OWNER greeted me and was SO professional. I was even given an appt card and told I will receive a reminder call. I was also told if I feel my tech is too rough I can just tell her and she will fix the matter. BOTTOM LINE....there is a salon on every corner. What upsets me is that I was going there for over 3 years. I over-tip and feel I'm understanding to the mistakes THEY make. When I make one, they embarrass me and speak in their native tongue...and I just know it's about how they feel about me. ************AVOID THIS SALON************ They are unprofessional racists and do not appreciate your business!!! IF you happen to go and don't heed my warning, Jade is your girl. Because of my affection for her, as well as the amazing work she does, it's why I kept going back. They have comfortable prices and that's about it. Owners are really rude and they make you wait like you don't have anything else to do. I made an appointment and was 5 minutes late so they start taking the walk ins ahead of me.. they wrapped my nails and let me sit for 45 minutes... I started getting frustrated and they told me I could just leave!! This really made me upset since I been going there once a month for almost 2 years and they didn't seem to care to lose a loyal client. I will not go back there again. Upon arriving I was told that I did not have an appointment and that I never called for one. I was told there was another Boynton Nails and I must have called them. I thought this could be a possibility so I took out my cell phone and re dialed the number I called yesterday. Low and behold the gentleman that told me I never made the appointment answered the phone and still insisted that I never made an appointment.
