I've been here twice now. The first time I had Allison and it was great! Allison did a great job and was so nice! The reason I'm giving 2 stars in this review is because of my second visit. I had Vanessa and she barely said a word to me while she did my manicure. I normally wouldn't really mind that, but she also did not do a good job on my nails. The entire manicure lasted about 10 minutes, she only put on 2 layers of a very light pink that needed 3 layers at least, and her cuticle trimming was rushed and very rough. I could have done a better job myself, honestly. Once she finished, she did not say a word to me and left to go into a back room. I have seen (and experienced) other nail techs give great service there and I will be going back, but I will NOT allow Vanessa to do my nails again. read more

I visited this salon for maybe the fifth time in the past few years to get my upper lip waxed. I was assigned a young woman who was otherwise not at all busy and taken to the chair used for this type of service. The woman helping me ripped the hair removal cloth off my skin with such ferocity that it really burned--I yelped in pain because this process hurt much more than usual. She was either way too rough or had mixed the hair removal product incorrectly so that it was much too strong. In any case, by the next day I had bright red welts on several spots on my upper lip that turned into scabs by the following day. This woman clearly needs training for this type of skill, she is currently a danger to any customers that she serves. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS SALON FOR ANY REASON! read more

I've been loyal to this salon since I was 14, but when they switched ownership everything changed. The lady that has been doing my nails left, so I switched to someone else, but I'm now learning it May be time for a new salon.I went in Saturday for a gel manicure, I showed the nail artist what I wanted (regular color with one sparkly finger) she recommended something that is really up and coming(2 regular nails one with French detail and 2 chrome) I said that looks pretty cool ok. So after being there for a little over an hour she finished, and handed me a 60 dollar bill for this gel manicure and an eye brow wax.Although a gel manicure and an eye brow wax is 40. I didn't question it and paid only to notice when I got home, my nails were messy.So I called and asked for the manager I was told he was busy and will call me back. When he called me back he told me to come in I stated I can't due to me going on vacation, he then replied with well we don't do refunds then he started getting angry. I never asked for a refund I just simply stated that I was never told there would be a 20 dollar fee for a design and that it wasn't right to scam people as well as my nails are spotty. I live about 15 mins from this place and just went there for the first time today. I got a full set of nexgen with almond shape and a pedi. They had many colors to choose from. I started with my pedi, the women was very nice but didnt do the best work. The polsh isnt cleaned up very well and the top coat is uneven. She put oil on my legs instead of lotion and it smelled horrible. I went to Tim for my nails and he did a great job. Took his time and made sure I liked my nails before I left. I do have to wonder what this spa was like before this apparent transformation, because right now I am speechless at the look of posh luxury. Bright and spacious decor with chandelier lighting, tinted grey and and white walls- it's beautiful in here; and frankly it's lovely. The reason why I came was just by reference , ask for Vanessa my friend said she's wonderful. And here I came, on the quest to find my new Van, that wonderful nail artist I left in Colorado :( so here we go to Vanessa I went. She was cheerful, patient, and warm. I addressed my desperate need for a pedicure and she confidently smiled it will be all good. So pros, I do love how fancy I felt here, very beautiful salon, they give you complimentary beverage. This morning I asked for a water because who can drink a glass of wine at 10am .... (not judging) so the pedicures are spa pedicure for $25 and deluxe for $35- which includes that additional mask and product which I will splurge every so often in. But something new to try to keep the look alive, was acrylics on just the two big toes... that was an additional $12. This is my only con, And I should have asked first before agreeing and that's my fault, but the look was in fact flawless. Vanesa was lovely, she worked at her pace and ease, she read my body language, and at the end of the day when I noticed I got them both scuffed I was able to come to the salón and get them fixed. I made my appt with one person and they gave me another when I arrived not that big of a deal. The nail tech kept saying she was super picky and that was why it was taking so long ... not the case at all. She asked her co-worker several questions about how to do my Nexgen. Maybe not something she normally does, so the owner should have been checking her work. Filed my natural nails with the drill to the point they hurt. Every nail as lumps/uneven which is visible to others and not even up close. I've been getting Nexgen for years and years this was by far the worst I've received. read more

The 2nd time, I made an appointment prior yet was passed off to someone else mid manicure because someone else wanted the tech so I was very disappointed and again a terrible manicure. I made an appt and I was there on time. I had nexgen nails on and needed them off as well as a new set. I waited about 15 mins to get my nails taken off and I instead just took them off myself. I continued to wait for my nails to be done. I went to this one girl and she was rude. She didn't not ask any questions of how I wanted them done. Went in for a gel manicure and a basic pedicure, the gel mani was done by Erika she did a fantastic job but my pedicure was a horrible experience the girl barely spoke English and cut my toe nails so short that they hurt after I told her to cut them down a LITTLE bit! She then proceeded to the next foot and instead of cutting I told her to file and she filed my toes very uneven! I came in with beautiful toe nails and left with short nubs that hurt!! I asked for another nail tech and they gave me some one else who didn't have a name tag on the management sucked they told me it was nothing they could do about it and still charged me $55 for the service! the nail techs seem to try and talk to you to be friendly to try and cover up the fact that they really don't know what they're doing. i asked for coffin and even showed a picture of the design i wanted and because of their laziness, they didn't bring me the color i wanted. in regards to pedicures , stay on guard of what they're doing because they will cut or file your toes shorter than asked. terrible experience and extremely awkward small talk... don't waste your money . read more

Kayla is the best & I highly recommend her, especially for sexy and talented nail designs & styles (like coffin, stiletto, etc.) I got Nexgen matte long coffin nails with cheetah prints and some Swarovskis (Cost $63-yikes). So I haven't been to a salon in 4 years because I do press-ons myself and they look FAB. I was super nervous about redoing my nails at a salon, but I really missed long nails and press-ons rarely have them so I figured I'll do them this once. I did research on the nail techs and was super nervous that my crazy dream nails wouldn't come out like I wanted them. I found the best nail tech & fell in love with her artistry: Kayla rocks! She's fast, skilled, and knowledgeable. The salon was clean and white with dazzle. The seats were comfortable. The station and tools were clean and new. The prices are reasonable. And the best thing-all the staff speaks English even when they chat amongst themselves. That's a pet peeve of mine and honestly I had 100 times more of a pleasant experience just cause I didn't feel like people were gossiping about me. They offer wine and water which always makes me feel rich It's a well ran salon and I'll only visit this salon and Kayla in the future for anything I need done. Thought this place would be better now that they remodeled but I have been back twice and both times I was disappointed. They drill and scrape the gel nail polish of in such a rough manner that I was worried my nails were going to rip right off. This last time I went, the man who was filing my nails was so harsh that my nails were bending as he was filing. He did a sloppy job polishing my nails as well and left some spots of my nails unpainted yet he managed to get paint on my fingertips. My pedicure was relaxing but the polish chipped the day after and was also pretty sloppy. They raised the prices and in my option the quality dropped. I have been there a few times for both mani and pedis.. l expect them to be able to do a better job at the pedis than l can do... l expect the dead skin to be removed around the toes as well as between them... l have always had to request the between them.... and the skin on the fourth toe seems to always be felt after the pedi... l should not have to ask them to do anything and they always seem to be in a hurry....it seems they think it should be done in a half hour and l don't agree.... others talk about wine or a drink and l have only been offered a drink once. ll have had more services than 1. l have had to request a female and a female alone because the men in there seem to twist the fingers like they don't belong to a human. One time l was assigned Johnny for a fill, he did not allow me to pick a polish beforehand... l never had a tech NOT allow polish choice, he was not gentle... another time had a guy Tony, he filed all the acrylic off for about a half hour.... it was smooth alright but very thin, it chipped. Everytime l would try to make an appointment they kept trying to pawn Johnny on me... everytime l had to say no male! today had to go back for 2 chipped nails after having a full set 4 days ago. l made appointments so l would not have to wait... however, l usually waited 15-20 minutes even with an appointment. They think they are doing you a favor here.... they don't seem to realize this is a spoil NOT a necessity! this is NOT publix or a gas station.... you don't have to go. They are not doing you a favor............ l am finished! sick of being filed to the point of the acrylic being gone, being burned by the dremel and having to wait despite having an appointment. I called and made a Saturday appointment for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I was there timely and the technician started on the gel manicure. I picked out a color and she asked if I wanted my manicure and pedicure the same color. I told her yes. At the end of the manicure she asks if I am getting a pedicure too as she now has another appointment. I was taken aback and told her well I made an appointment for both. I was then turned over to another technician, something that has never happened in another salon. I was reading while the pedicure was in progress. I was finished and now had two technicians to tip. When I was walking to my car, I noticed my pedicure was in a different color than my manicure. I went back in and was told that now I would have to wait at least a half hour to have the correct color applied. They lost a customer. I don't care what response I get to this statement but "this entire industry has gone so downhill since the Asians took it over." read more
