Joyce Dugan from the Saturday Club was nice and easy to work with. Since they didn't have a Friday event, they gave us keys on Friday and allowed us to do set up Friday evening and Saturday morning. They did provide the tables and chairs and set them up on Friday for us which was awesome. The employee Chris was there in the office during the wedding if we needed anything. The place is really cute and was the perfect size for our wedding. We had just the perfect amount of room for the number of table and chairs we used and enough room on the dance floor. There is a little area/ private room near the bathrooms that serves as the bridal suite and also a great place to nurse my son and for other nursing moms. The price was great and I love what the money goes towards. I would absolutely recommend this for a wedding of 50-90 guests or for other events. This would also be a great spot for bridal and baby showers. And they worked so well with our caterer. We put the photo booth in the front vestibule area. I am at the point where everytime i think about our wedding day i regret where it was done and if i could have reversed time and picked somewhere else, or even gone to the courthouse like we originally planned we would have been happier. getting in contact with your planner is so hard, it would take days to respond. we didnt even get to pick our cake flavor or anything like that until two days before (which they got wrong, we asked for chocolate and got vanilla). thats not even the part where im upset, we spent an EXTRA 300$ on a wedding video. after our wedding we received an email stating that we should be getting it in a few days. a week passed by and nothing, i emailed them and waited another week for a response and found out that they LOST OUR WEDDING VIDEO and is looking for it. my husband then emailed but with no response. another week went by and i texted them and was left in read for about 1-2 days before they told me that they figured out the problem on the technical side but no luck on our video, we should be getting a refund in about 10 days. it has been OVER 10 ten days and we have received nothing so i have texted them AGAIN and got left on read, which lead to another text a week later and still left on read and ignored. its sad to see this company more active on instagram than their clients. im grateful for the beautiful day i got with my friends and family, but i wish we picked somewhere else. i am heartbroken. we have no way to look back on our special day except with iphone pictures my friends and family took. we had a friend record the whole wedding and told him we didnt need it because we were getting a professional one done, so he deleted it. we understand they are very busy people, but when you screw up so bad like losing a whole wedding video you should be a little more caring than you are. reading these reviews have showed us that we have been treated worlds differently than other couples, unfortunately not in a good way. thank you elegant celebrations, for making our day definitely something we wont forget.

Gifted to LM Township in the early seventies, it had been transformed into a popular venue for weddings and various other receptions. The facility operates mainly from May until early November as it accommodates outdoor functions. The patio area, where most parties take place, is provided with a large vinyl structure which can be heated during the cooler weather. It's my understanding there are several caterers who service the facility so there are options. We happen to go in early November and the weather was on the cooler side. The heaters were fair, not great. In my opinion if the event had been planned in September or early October, our experience might have been different. This place is really one that should be seen in person with idea of a spring/summer affair.

Welkinweir is an Old English word that translates to "where sky meets water." The property is 197 acres with a 55-acre arboretum. The house is a c.1940 Fridtjof Tobiessen Colonial Revival creation, that encompasses prior historic c.1830 and c.1750 structures. The estate has been open to the public since 2000, and has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 2001. Everett George Rodebaugh (b1902), a 1922 UPenn alum, founded a court-reporting service in Philadelphia that boosted him to national prominence. The Rodebaughs had no children and traveled the world, but unlike the heavy Euro influence adopted by the DuPont estates in nearby Brandywine Valley, Welkinweir has remained true to its plein air, Weyethesque look. I was recently at Stoneleigh, where I expected William Powell to walk out of the house with a smoking jacket and a G&T. Welkinweir felt more like Spencer Tracy's hunting spot, if he ever had one. Welkinweir is located on Prizer road, a picturesque street of swank multi-mil horse farms, with a winery (Stone Barn Cellars) at the Pottstown Pike end. You head up the drive and around a hairpin turn, you are upon the house, so much so, you might hit it! Drive past the house, and parking will appear. A patio leads you to an info center on the exterior wall, with an abundance of brochures. Use the trail map to walk yourself around the hiking options on the property. Yes, this is a hike, so dress in sneaks or boots and comfortable clothing. There are various trail options, but we did the simple loop around the huge pond, and then explored the grounds by the house, and Pinetum in front of the house. We did about 3mi on the pedometer. We'd have loved to stay longer, but with dogs and a baby in the cold, 3miles was a comfortable stopping point. You could easily make this an all-day hiking destination. They have a large picnic shelter, with a nearby firepit area for warmer weather. There are also port-a-potties near the picnic area. House tours are normally available only to groups when set up in advance, but if you call to request it, they can sometimes accommodate smaller parties. According to what I've read, the house contains a rare pipe organ, letters and private documents of the Rodebaughs, and the DL on when they got robbed of a $250k silver set by one of their own house guests! As indicated, dogs are allowed on the trails and in the arboretum. They do need to be leashed and cleaned up after, of course. I am so happy to have found Welkinweir! I am fortunate to have so many cultural resources at my fingertips, locally, but I wish Welkinweir were closer because it has such a great vibe, and has been so lovingly tended and well thought-out, with the amenities of a state park, in addition to the museum garden thing going on. It was a beautiful day, and our guests enjoyed the drinks and butler-ed hors'dourves outside. After the cocktail, everyone moved into the huge ballroom, which also had an outdoor terrace. The view of the sunset behind the endless grassy golf course and trees was breathtaking. The best thing about WCC is that they only have one ballroom, one event at a time. There was no confusion who's event was where, like some of the other wedding I had been to. I highly recommend WCC for any classy event. The food is excellent and the location is simply beautiful. Bathroom was super clean, in fact the entire space was clean! Even the other patrons were nice and offered me a charging cable when I requested one from the front desk.
