I first moved to this area about eight years ago and tried the pizza then. It was pretty good but after trying different Florida pizzas and then coming back to this I realize this is horrible. First things first I came here on a Monday or Tuesday and I was told that you can't seat yourself on those two days, that was kind of ridiculous. Just didn't even make sense to me. But whatever I decided to order two pepperoni pizzas, and take the order to go. So I ordered the pizza and after looking at the pizza, I realized that it looked pretty decent just from the looks. Them from looking at all the other reviews here I realize that this has truly declined and I realize it was bad as far as quality was concerned. The cheese and pepperoni were literally falling off the pizza as I was starting to eat. And then just from a taste perspective, it was just below average, I've certainly had better in Florida and would rather go to dominos or Marcos before I return here. read more

purchased a large order tonight that included a meat lovers pizza. The pizza was burnt. I called the store and complained to the manager and all their response after I proved we purchased the food was "Sorry" and offered 50% off on the next pizza purchase. First we could not believe they would allow a burnt pizza out the store especially on a purchase over 80 dollars. The least they could have done was replace the pizza. When hurricane Ian hit our neighborhood, it was downgraded to a tropical storm or cat 1. Nonetheless we lost power and internet. After two days without both we were looking for food and a place with internet. We decided to go to Anthony's Pizza, we got here alot. On Friday we went in and ordered pizza slices and I got chicken wings, we were excited to just have internet access. When the wings came out, I ate some but they tasted alittle strange, I didn't say anything at first,however when my boyfriend had one he too said they tasted strange, it seemed like they were on the edge of being spoiled or freezer burned, so we sent them back. The cook however did not like that and started making rude comments, at one point my boyfriend went and said we'd pay for them, but the cook started swearing and being argumentative and yelling at us. We have never been so insulted in our lives! The cook should not throwing f bombs and insulting customers, whereas the whole restaurant can hear him,his excuse was ohh well there are no doors. The cook has glasses and a beard, he said he hated fing people,especially like us who complain. We've come here for years, we don't complain but even so, it's no reason for him to take it out on us and the server. read more

I finally came across this place and had high hopes. looked like a decent spot from the outside driving by and advertised NY style pizza. However, when attempting to order some take out it was complete crickets... I called multiple times on separate occasions to order food and even attempted their online ordering service request and wasn't able to get anyone. Antony's is that pizza joint you go for a quick slice or two when you are famished after all that grocery shopping.... or should you go eat first and then grocery shopping? All depends on what type of shopper you are on an empty stomach I guess. I would be the one that would buy everything in sight! Yikes! Any hoot, Anthony's does offers Italian eats, but I wouldn't venture outside the pizzas. Each time we tried something new, that wasn't pizza, we were utterly disappointed. That being said, we are regulars at Antony's. We love the two slices deal. If you are coming for the slices just make sure you come before 5pm. Unless you don't mind having just pepperoni slices. The full pies, however, you can get whatever you want on them, anytime. A little tip, if you don't like your dining experience on the nippy side, bring a small jacket or sweater. Pizza was as expected, a freshly made vegetarian pizza took 20 minutes. It is conveniently located right next to the Publix grocery store so you can do all your shopping while you wait for the pizza to be ready. My husband absolutely loves this place for pizza. He is from NYC and he loves to be able to purchase two or three slices instead of a whole pie. He likes the thinner crust and the big slices. My husband and I came in one night last week and we had great food and the best service we have ever had before from Audrey. Seriously, she was fantastic. Last night, we decided to go again and take a friend with us, as we are all new to the area and still looking for good places to eat. The closing time said 10pm, we walked in at 9:14pm. Upon walking in, a shorter, slim, dark haired girl said "ohh no were closed" in a joking manner under her breath, but it was loud enough that I heard it. Hearing that, I looked to my husband who was about to be seated by Audrey and said I think they were closing. He asked Audrey, who told us that they closed at 930pm, but we were welcome to stay and eat. We opted to leave because we aren't the type of people to come in within minutes of closing. We understand everyone wants to go home at their scheduled time. However, the door and website clearly say 10pm and when my husband called to verify that, the manager said the dine in closed at 930, but they do deliveries and take out until 10. It would have been nice to have been told that, as opposed to hearing an exasperated quip upon walking in and feeling like our presence was a burden. We would have simply placed a to-go order. The manager also told us that she was not allowed to give out her superiors name. I wonder how the owner feels about not being able to hear customer feedback in order to improve their establishments business? I would love to be able to add stars to this rating, but as a consumer I cannot until given the proper outlets for complaint resolutions. 3/15/18: Round 2. Decided to give this another try, big mistake. Just as rude as ever, and we are are eating the subpar food we picked up while waiting for the replacement pizza and the salad they forgot to be delivered. Pictures of the pizza attached. We stopped in for a slice of Pizza and it was delicious! Love their Pizza. If you want the taste of northern pizza, this is the place.

It's convenient.....that's the most redeeming quality. My son and I both had slices for dinner which were $2.65 for a decent size pepperoni and $2.15 for cheese. The pizza is extremely greasy even by pizza standards. My ire comes from the SLOW service. Read a few reviews, heard good things about the place so my kids and I decided to give them a try. The service was friendly, though please, when out with the customers, leave the drama or "gossip" outside of the dining area. My daughters and I didn't particularly care to hear about any of it (servers gossiping at the counter to each other). We got for appetizers the garlic knots, alfredo sauce and cheese fries. The cheese fries were good; however, we did not like the garlic not and the alfredo sauce lack good flavor and substance. For our main meal, we ordered a meat lover style pizza. Crust was alright, toppings, not bad, but we can get this kind of pizza anywhere. Not very impressive, definitely not worth the price we paid. Great pizza- nice change from the chains!: We recently moved to Apopka and have eaten Anthony's twice. Both times (once dine-in, once delivery) the pizza was hot and fresh. The crust is soft on the inside and crisp on the outside with a nice doughy taste. The flavor of the cheese, sauce and toppings are wonderful (try the meatball as a topping!). We had the garlic cheese bread which was also good. Average service with a small dining area that reminded me of the old Sbarro's at the mall you could sit down in. The price is decent ($18 for a XL pie with 3 toppings) and the slices are so large that you have to fold them in half to eat them. I really wish Anthony's would offer more in the dessert department, maybe a canoli or cinnamon-type bread with icing. read more

I love a good stromboli, and Anthony's does a pretty good job with their version. It is rather straight forward, a good size for the price, and plenty of cheese and other toppings you choose to put in there. I can't vouch for the pizza, but if it is as good as other Anthony's Pizza restaurants around Orlando, I'm sure it's better than average. My only real disappointment here was the garlic knots. They were overly doughy, and really not very garlicy at all. I've been to other Anthony's and these just seem to be below average. I would not order them again. I normally have great service here from the waitress who says "thank you" all the time. But this time we had the waitress who was very rude. My friend's meal came with a salad and he asked for a Caesar salad. She said "no, no, I know the owner he would never allow it." He offered to pay extra and she still said no. (Even though every other time we have been there they have no problem with this). She never refilled my drink, nor came to see how our food was.
