I really like this location because not only do they have a pick up window, they have a nice inside seating area. I love the BBQ chicken pizza and the meat lovers so we ordered one of each with a Greek salad and cheesy bread and of course the cinnasquares for dessert. INCREDIBLE!!!! I can't believe this is the third time these people leave use waiting for food for over three hours. The problem I have is no that there was weather issues but more the way they tell you that you will have to wait and still get the three hour old pizza or you can just reorder and wait another hour and a half for delivery. It's crazy. The manager is never available and this has happened to us three times with three different situations yet always the same " we don't care" attitude. I had the craving for pizza, so I found Marco's and read the reviews. All reviews were good so I decided to give it a shot. The place is well kept and clean with a little mellow music. I ordered a lunch special which was a 6" personal pie with one topping. I had chicken topping. Freshly made not standing and reheated. Took 10 minutes but DAM was it worth it. The personal cams out and I said to myself " self just eat half and take the other half" y'all already know that self ate the whole pie. Pie was blasting with flavor and hot. Will visit again soon. My order was cancelled 1 hour and 15 mins after ordering. I had ordered at 10:30pm and they closed at midnight, so that was plenty of time to either prepare my order or let me know they weren't taking any more orders. Looking for something outside the usual suspects of quick pizza, we dropped in on Marco's a few weeks back. What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be. For around the same price as the usual chains....you get a fresh pizza with a solid dough, generous toppings, and honestly just a better overall experience. I have never had to wait longer than 15 minutes from order time to pick up, and the pizza is consistent after having it a few times now. It is now our go-to pizza place in Apopka. Honestly, do yourself a favor, skip over your usual next time, and order from Marco's. Marcos pizza is now in Apopka. I've always seen the signs of Marco's Pizza in other cities and states however I had never tried it until today. The one thing I noticed was the fact that they have seating inside where you can enjoy your lunch or dinner with friends or family. There was a large group of eight sitting when I came in enjoying pizza and conversation. The noise level was average however the pizza was not. It was above average. I give it a 5 out of five overall for being welcoming and clean eatery and the pizza quality. They currently have a special going on medium pizzas with two toppings for 6.99 each. Not sure how long the special will be however this will be a place that I will visit again. I can't say it again "The pizza shop was clean the workers inside were pleasant and the pizza ...yum" I love the sauce and the chunks of sausage not ground. They even have a loyalty program like a lot of companies however if you're visiting you might as well get something in return. I ordered a small 2 topping and it was enough for 2 to share. read more

Best chain pizza around. This location is great, Rock Springs Rd. They are quick and consistent. Must admit, the first few months was very inconsistent but they listened to complaints and are great now. Employees are courteous and attentive. Great specials. I've been a Marco's Pizza fan for at least 10 years. My family knows I love Marco's Pizza over ANY of the others. The sauce, the ingredients, and crust and crust toppers are bar none. Did I mention, I love Marco's Pizza? This is why I have to leave this review. The Marcos located at 1616 Rock Springs Road in Apopka is horrible! The pizza at this particluar location falls miserably short of the high quality pizza served at other Marcos. I had long written this location off but hunger will make you do some strange things. So here's what happened. Last night, April 23 around 9pm and against my better judgment, I ordered 2 Medium pizzas and one pizza bowl online. I paid $48.07 online and selected delivery. Delivery time should have been around 9:50pm. Ok, I think to myself, "50 minutes, Saturday night, they may be busy or short of staff." Ok, I'll wait. Then at 9:55 I checked the "track your order" feature and it showed a status of "DELIVERED". My pizza was delivered? Huh? When? Where is it? Why wouId the status show "DELIVERED" when clearly my concerned look through my window tells a far different story. My pizza had not been delivered. So, immediately I called the store, in a calm, but in a "concerned parent" type of manner, to inquire about the whereabouts of my pizza. I was greeted by Aiden, who said the driver had my pizzas and should arrive in 10 minutes. He asked me to give the driver 10 mintues. I waited patiently and after 10 minutes I called back. Again, I told Aiden my pizza had STILL NOT arrived and he put me on hold and then returned to the line to ask if I could give the driver 5 more minutes. So I waited an additional 5 minutes. (15 minutes total after the expected delivery time) I called Aiden back and said ," look i need you to remake my order because if your driver arrives my food will be cold" and to boot, I told Aiden I would come by the store to pickup the food. And I did drive to the store to pick up my reorder, that was ready in approximately 10 minutes as Aiden stated. Fact, THIS Marco's location, 1616 Rock Springs Road is only 0.45 miles from my house. Fact, I normally drive 3.63 miles to the other Marco's located at 2300 E. Semoran Blvd in Apopka. Why? The Semoran store has excellent service and the pizzas TASTE GREAT, the way Marco's pizzas are supposed to taste, to include the crust, CONSISTENTLY! The SEMORAN restaurant is CONSISTENTLY GREAT! So why did I order against my better judgment from the closer Marco's last night? I was hungry, tired, and did not feel like driving. Unfortunately, I had to wind up driving anyway right? Mind you, I had not ordered from 1616 Rock Springs Road in months, and I figured, they could not possibly mess this up right? Wrong! Clearly the joke was on me. So after I returned home from picking up the reorder, of course my family and ate a few slices last night and pizza for breakfast, which is our Marco's tradition. The pizzas were "alright", which is to be expected at this particular Marcos location. They were not as bad as previous occasions. And they still don't know how to make the crust taste like a Marco's crust. But, hey, the food served its purpose. We ate, right? But WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Around 10am this morning my next door neighbor Kev texted me to say, " my daughter found 3 pizzas at our front door at 3:30am with your name on it but OUR address. LOL!" I responded to Kev,"thanks, the pizza delivery guy must have been high or something". So Aiden was correct, the pizzas arrived...but at my neighbor's house. Question, most phones and cars have Google Maps or other GPS technology, right? Bottomline, my recommendation is this. If you want that AUTHENTIC, quality Marco's Pizza that most of us love, you definitely should NOT spend your money at the 1616 Rock Springs Road restaurant in Apopka. Instead do yourself a favor and visit Marcos at 2300 E. Semoran Blvd in Apopka. I have NOT written off Marcos completely. Did I mention I love Marco's pizza? I just will NOT purchase from the neighborhood Marcos located only 0.45 miles away from my home again, no matter how hungry and tired I am. I will drive nearly 4 miles (8 miles roundtrip) to the other store because I know it will be WELL WORTH IT. Pass it on.... read more

I ordered a thin crust cheese pizza with extra cheese and sauce, as well as a pizza bowl. Both items arrived burned and dry as a bone. The pizza had a brown top from edge to edge. It made a cracking noise and broke in hard sharp pieces if you tried to bite it. The extra sauce had long since evaporated. For some reason the round pizza also came cut in 2-3 inch squares, for no reason. It was weird. The pizza bowl was pretty much the same. I wanted to avoid any of the bigger chains, but this experience was a waste of money. How do you screw up a cheese pizza? Why would they send food out in that condition? I say skip Marco's. There are many more options for pizza in the same area that have to be able to do it better. read more
