The restaurant is super cute and there were many signs in the plaza pointing to where they were located (in case you got lost). The service was also very quick. I liked the fact that there was a weekly special card and something different for each day. I loved the food here a lot! If you love garlic (I really love garlic), I would definitely order the garlic knots! There was mounds of garlic on the bread and I happily ate it :D The pizza and wings were delicious also! Grabbed a pizza and garlic knots for movie night. When we got it home we realized they'd given us a plain cheese pizza without the topping we'd ordered. I called and asked whether they'd be able to deliver the correct order-- or whether I'd be able to drive the food back up so they could fix it. All they were willing to do is offer a discount the next time I come in. Problem is we hadn't ordered from Jerry's in at least a year and after this I won't be back. The pizza wasn't great and the garlic knots smelled incredible but the pile of raw garlic on top killed it. To be fair, the woman I spoke with was apologetic and perfectly nice. But when you mess something up you have to do right by your customers, especially when they offer to go out of their way to get the food they paid for. read more

I placed an order online for a few pastas when I bit into the chicken piccata I had not one hair .. not two hairs but an entire clump of hair in my mouth. after vomiting, I called the restaurant and they told me that I needed to contact Uber instead of apologizing for their mistake and offering a refund on their end, they said "oh well you need to call Uber. .. I think we found our new Italian go-to. We've ordered take out twice and both times the food was excellent! We first tried the chicken parm and spaghetti bolognese. Both dishes had hearty portions and tasted really good. We tried their pizza recently and it was far superior to any chain pizza in town. Popped in on a Saturday night and we literally were the only folks in the restaurant. And in the hour of being there - only 1 customer came in for take out. Pizza just was not very good - tasteless crust and too much seasoning sprinkled on. Pasta dishes we had were ok. Think there are better alternatives for both pizza and pasta in Longwood. We've been in the area for a couple years now and have never tried this place until the other night! Hidden in a small strip mall by Winn Dixie... we decided to try it out. What a pleasant surprise. We went at night and it had a very casual, cozy pizzeria feel. My husband ordered the shrimp scampi. This was tasty but just needed a bit more salt. Ordered online for a to-go pizza with several toppings and was told 30 minutes. I walked into the restaurant 30 minutes later and still had to wait another 10 minutes. When placing my online order I selected 4 toppings that I believed I paid extra for, but when I got home and opened the box I had a plain cheese pizza that was mediocre at best. I called the restaurant and spoke to the "manager" and was told the online service didn't list the toppings. I expressed my disappointment and asked if they would make it right and was told no. In fact, I was told that next time I wanted to order to go I should call in instead of ordering online. It is 2019, we can all place an online order with a dozen other restaurants that will get it right (and care if it is wrong), so why would anyone bother with Jerry's considering they care so little about customer satisfaction that they can't even remake a simple pizza correctly; or offer a free appetizer or Cannoli on another visit to encourage me to come back and give them another try? I was once a semi regular at lunch. I have made a real attempt to eat at family owned restaurants during these tough times. I had an experience a few weeks ago that has ended my relationship with this establishment permanently . Within a half hour visit, I not only witnessed an employee get humiliated, but also had the unique pleasure of listening to F Bombs being dropped while I attempted to enjoy my lunch. To top things off, I attempted to contact the owner about this incident though Facebook and he showed little, if any concern. I would suggest anyone with small children avoid this restaurant until the tall cook (Jeff?) learns a bit about how to conduct one's self while working in view of the public. read more

This place is not fancy, but it is clean and quiet. The flavors are natural and remind me of eating pizza as a kid. This is not a chain restaurant flavor. I give the flavor a 4.5 and the extra bump is for service. I observed the kitchen staff giving extra care to a woman who needed to keep her food dry and secure to take her dinner home home on the bus. Even with only one table and multiple staff, the girls working were too concerned with gossiping rather than getting my order right. He had the eggplant Parmesan sub/sandwich (it is available in 2 sizes, 6" or 10"; he went with the smaller, which was I think $4.25), and I had 2 slices of cheese pizza ($2/each). He said his sandwich was very good, as was my pizza. It's the best pizza I've had recently & I'm looking forward to coming back in here again soon to get some more. The pizza was hot, fresh and delicious. It had the perfect amount of grease on it, the crust was great and the cheese/sauce just as wonderful. I forget exactly what the menu said, but I think lunch specials are offered from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Mon.-Fri., and maybe even a little bit on weekends (?). Not sure, but this place is definitely worth coming to, regardless. Our server was very friendly and the restaurant was a little more crowded than I was expecting. We had to park close to the very end of the shopping center as every other space, up to the one we took, was taken, and likely all parked vehicles were owned by Jerry's patrons. I knew this place was popular with the lunch crowd, though not this much. No problem, though - you're not going to have any trouble getting a table here as the restaurant is comprised of two dining rooms. There's ample space for many customers. Hmm ... what else? Oh, I think that Jerry's maybe only accepts credit cards/cash. No debit cards, maybe? I thought I saw a sign indicating as much near the cash register while paying. Stop in if you can and have some great food. You won't be disappointed!
