I took my husband's cowboy boisterous in to be repaired. He did an excellent job and they we're done when promised.

Anthony is an old school cobbler. His work is first rate, all the way. I took my much loved redwing Iron Rangers in to get resoled. He really knows his trade. when I got them back THE NEXT DAY, they were beautifully resoled and the leather treated, with new leather laces. This guy is the real deal, he is a true craftsman. When you pay several hundred dollars on boots, you want a guy like Anthony to be the one doing your resoles. His attention to detail and his craftmanship is amazing, so if you own a pair of Whites, or Nicks,or Redwings, or any of the boots with the goodyear welt, this is your go-to guy to get them resoled in the Tricities. My wife and I needed a pretty quick turn around, my wife's high heels had lost their tips, and my wingtip brogues were just about to wear into the stack. We had a holiday party to make the next day, he got her shoes turned around and they were just like new, and we made it. A couple of days later we brought in my brogues and he got the heel cap replaced with a better one than they came with and put a quality shine on them. The zipper on my favorite pair of boots broke and I wasn't sure what to do. I looked up shoe repair shops and this place popped up and compared to uptown's reviews, this was the place to go. Took my book in and the owner was very communicative, made no promises and let me know when it would be ready. Sure enough it was ready a day early and I only paid $10 when I picked up the boot! This guy knows his stuff! I brought in a much-loved pair of boots to see if he could repair the inside rear of one that was deteriorating. He was very informative in showing and explaining to me what the problem was, as well as pointing out several areas on the soles that were close to failing. He said that he would be doing me a disservice by taking my money since the boots didn't have much life left, and recommended I replace them. I have been taking boots to Tony for years. He has re-soled everything from my grandmother's vintage boots to my Frye boots. To buy a new pair of Frye's would cost at least $250, but he put brand new soles on them for just $40, and they look good as new! I highly recommend him to anyone in need of shoe repair. read more
