First time at this store. This store is absolutely beautiful. They have an in-house artist. The interior design is pressing throughout the entire store; the windows walls, it's an artist gallery. I spoke with one of the ladies and she said Christmas is beautifully designed and a must see. ‍ the clothes are beautifully designed- my sweetheart folkways gasping as some do the dresses and shirts. Shell look alluring in this clothing. Service: greeted and the ladies were al so kind, and in the changing room they write your name in on the door. It's a small insignificant detail -- but it's a detail that lost in the night sky -one star in an ocean of star but it made me smile cause it shows forethought and concern for each customer. read more

Oh how I love Anthropologie... it speaks to my high-end quirky comfort style... lol. I love almost everything I see and would like to be able to actually get a few items there, but unless they are stupidly marked down.. sale on top of a sale on top of discount... it's so hard for a sista to pull out that wallet. I'd never been to this location, but we had to trek down Rt. 1 to get here because my hubby ordered a beautiful shower curtain, didn't want to pay for shipping (gotta stuff at least $150 in that cart), and that was the only location it could get sent to... ummm, $90 for a shower curtain anyone? Well... I should have stayed home because I saw THE MOST BEAUTIFUL sweater cardigan.. and it spoke to me.. After seeing the $138 price tag, I placed it back, by my heart was broken as I walked out of the store. My husband said.. you work really hard and sometimes you have to treat yourself.. and that I did! Went back in and got that bad boy--with no regret. This store is the only time it's okay to spend $88 on a pair of pants or $100+ on a dress. I absolutely wish everything in this store was more within my budget, but the clothes are so pretty that I don't really mind too much (and the on-sale room in back routinely throws a few choice finds my way). The staff has always been friendly, helpful and approachable, and has the uncanny ability of knowing exactly when I'd rather be left alone and when I feel like talking my fool head off to a complete stranger. Yep. Definitely one of my favourite clothing stores ever. I just need to find one around me now that I don't pass the Marketfair location anymore. :( read more

I spent so much time here during my stressful last semester of grad school. Retail therapy courtesy of my bank account. I was in there so often that when I'd walk down the street, I could point out clothes people bought at anthro. I almost felt embarrassed seeing the same sales people in there week after week, but they were always friendly and helpful. There was only one time that a girl said she went to the back to look for a size and said they didn't have it - I didn't believe her and sent someone else to look for it. The other employee found what I was looking for. Always double check. The store is cozy, cutely decorated, and has a pretty large selection compared to other anthro stores. The sales rack helped not totally break the bank. But, omg, this store is my absolute favorite. Unique clothes. Yes, they are expensive, but they are not run-of-the-mill outfits and you're paying for quality. read more

If you aren't willing to spend, go to the sale racks. Usually you can find good stuff. But if you're set on something, get it before it's gone or come back often to check the price... things go fast if they're pretty! read more

Even though Anthropologie is ridiculously overpriced 99% of the time (Come on, everyone knows it!) I do buy a really great piece every now and then here that I tend to get a lot of use out of. What I really like about visiting the store vs. shopping online is the customer service. Anthro knows what's up in the customer service field with the greeting of customers, "Can I help you with anything?", etc. etc. Even if the lovely ladies working here hate their jobs, they sure don't act like it. I must say, I shop there an awful lot so they see my face often enough to know me and treat me well. I guess it helps when you walk in wearing most of the store's merchandise. PROS: -Lovely staff of helpful, informative, cheerful ladies. -Everything is wonderfully placed, there is a sale section in the back instead of having sale items scattered about. -Unique pieces often nicely thrown together for the fashion-tarded. CONS: -The shoes are online so I end up frustrated returning what doesn't fit. -Unimpressive selection of accessories in general. Found some great deals, but I have never seen more rude sales people! I went in and the store was supposedly closing. The lady rudely told us we had 10 minutes to shop. Then in the fitting rooms the lady seemed unhappy to let me try on an item. She even rushed another customer and opened the fitting room while she was changing.. then another lady said "alright, we open tomorrow at 10am" basically telling me to get out. I used to work in retail and I would never tell a customer to leave. Wow. Never coming back again. read more

Hope I can give a zero star. I went to the store to make a return for the online orders. I bring all the 7 pieces clothes to store but only 6 items are returned. They forget to refund one item. When i found the problem, I went back to store but the people told me I just brought 6 pieces and they refunded all of them. I have no evidence to prove they got all 7 pieces and the sales people who helped me for the returns had already put some of the clothes back on shelf. So there was no way for them to find out all of the 7 pieces clothes back to check. And I don't think they make effort to help me. At that time, there were some people in line waiting for help, so i just went home to dispute the transaction from paypal. But this time, paypal was on the sellers side simply because anthropologie provided the tracking number. I really don't understand the logic behind it. Although you has the tracking to prove I have the item, it is your mistake that taking one of my 7 pieces colthes without refunding me. That's why I don't have the evidence! I don't have that item on the return receipt! I really want to call the police to see the video record from the monitor to prove I have bring all my 7 pieces! But the 40 dollors clothes not worth my time! Worst customer service from the brand to store. Worst shopping experience. I will never ever purchase anything from this store and the brand! read more

I tried to reorder the cabinet, because I changed my mind on the color. The manager, Sara, really did take almost three hours to order it! I told her I could order it another day, but she kept insisting it would only take a few more minutes only to drag it to almost three hours! She told me the computer system was down. That is just unacceptable. I am done with this store. read more

Beautiful store, but can be infuriating because they consistently under-staff the cashwrap. Today there was one associate ringing while countless others floated through the store greeting customers and apologizing to those waiting in line. Lunchtime on a sale day? Come on! When the line finally reached 7 customers long and the sole associate was still ringing the same person, a customer called out for more registers to open and someone came running. Surely their barometer for additional cashiers can't be when a customer's patience reaches the tipping point? read more

Love anthro even though their stuff is a bit pricy. This location is good. The staff is always welcoming and helpful!

The store is big and spacious and is curated well. I find the staff to be generally friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of quirky kitchen and bath items. I've scored awesome steals here for 10 and under which make for great gifts. The stationery and accessories are also beautiful here. As for the clothes, the full priced items are hit or miss. Some are beautiful and worth it; others are not so much. Unfortunately, I feel their apparel sale section is not as good as other Anthropologie locations but it's not a deal breaker. Last but not least, they sell the Capri blue candles which have an amazing scent! read more

I live in NYC but visit Princeton a lot, and always try to make the time to stop by because this is a really good Anthropologie store. It's calm, clean, never very crowded, has a good selection of merchandise, and the costumer service is excellent. read more

Lovely selection and store, plus awesome sales and online order and pick up in store option. Downside is that often they are not staffed properly or only have 1 register open with people in line, yet several staff members are lulling around arranging the store. They see people waiting and do nothing or say, thanks for waiting." What? Why not jump on a register and help customers? Returns can be done quickly by effective associates, but most are painfully slow. I was in the store returning an online order the evening if Tues. Sept 11th and only 1 associate was on a register and 2 were organizing the store (and saw me waiting for more than a few minutes and walked by several times). A line quickly developed and then finally opened a register for the next person in line. The associate who waited on my was very nice and did the return efficiently but her 2 colleagues could have done more to help her as well as get me taken care of more quickly. read more

I had a bad experience with one of their jackets I purchased that bled onto my shirt and ruined it. Initially it wasn't handled well and quite honestly was shocked by the lack of customer service. Having dealt with them both in store and online I expected more from Anthropologie. I was ready to walk away as a customer, but thankfully they came through and righted the situation. I absolutely love their clothes and am so happy to continue shopping there considering half of my wardrobe is from that store. Thanks Anthro...you've got a customer for life now. read more
