It's a relatively small shop in downtown Princeton. I went shopping specifically for pens. I thought I would be able to buy some pens I found in their online storefront. I was partially successful. In one case I was able to get the pen I wanted, but not the color I wanted (Black). The other pen just wasn't available in-store. i would have been happier if they had fewer novelty type pens and more colors available instead. Overall they managed to get a good variety of things into a small shop, but the selection is broad rather than deep. Staff were pleasant. read more

Paper Source is my happy place. I've been going to the Princeton Paper Source for a few years now. I usually park on Nassau Street or in the small metered parking lot on Witherspoon. I've gone here for Workshops and even celebrated my birthday here by making Fall Greeting cards! My favorite so far has been the Christmas Card making workshop as it really started my love of rubber stamping and heat embossing! This PS has a great location in downtown Princeton. So many shops, restaurants, and other things to do before or after your Paper Source adventure. I love going here as part of my Black Friday Shopping traditions. The ladies who work here are friendly and passionate. The front of the store has their wrapping paper and greeting cards along the left and right sides of the wall. The center aisles are full of beautiful, curated, collections of planners, other accessories, decor, notebooks, mugs, and various gifts, gadgets, and treats. My favorite finds have been the pineapple rubber stamp, Sugarfina Champagne Gummy Bears, and this gorgeous Gold Cube Square picture frame. Will you spend a ton of money? Probably! Paper Source is an easily overlooked business along Nassau but it has a lot to offer besides cards. I stop in whoever I need any cards for any occasions (i.e. Thank you, birthday etc). There are lots of other holiday and seasonal items on offer. My husband enjoyed exploring the "man table" set up in front of the cash register. I love Paper Source. That's my review because really what else do I need? :) I love buying special occasion cards here, but beware - you will spend a lot of money. The cards are an average of $5 each, some are more so don't fall in love with too many of them! I always end up spending about $15 on cards and an additional $20 on stationary. The window display changes with the holiday and season, which I think gives it a new look each time. Tons of wrapping paper, stamps, invitations, envelopes, cards, and notebooks. It is a great place to buy small gifts for new homes, friends, and yourself.. who doesn't like treating themselves?! The staff is super nice and helpful. This is a nice clean store with lots to offer. They have cards, children's books, carpets, and so much It's too bad that I don't live near one. Although, this is the closest one too me. It would have been either this one which is 30 minutes away, or the one in Summit which is 45 minutes away from me. It is all at a reasonable price, and staff is friendly as well. It is a little understaffed, but it is still okay. It's what the place sells that counts. They also have wrap paper, perfect for that special someone. I think I would still have to go to Hallmark, but as soon as they open a store like this, I will certainly go. read more

This is my favorite stationery store in the area! Their custom stationery service has a huge selection of affordable and beautiful wedding invitations. I used their store brand for my own wedding invites and several guests told me it was the most beautiful piece of mail they have ever received (..seriously they weren't just being nice!). I chose a traditional design but they also have a lot of playful and trendy options. They even offer custom thank you cards, personalized everyday stationery, return address stamps, etc. I'm also in love with their paper and greeting card selection. Many of the really gorgeous paper designs are only available in single sheets, so I use them to wrap special gifts or as an gift wrap accent. read more

Love this place. We go here every time we are in Princeton and it is a great place to shop for unique gifts. There is a lot more than paper and the paper selection is great. We bought some wrapping paper from here that was a world map and put it on a cork board we bought from here and used some push pins we bought from here to make a map of places we have been. Like most places on Nassau St in Princeton you can expect some parking issues but it is worth the effort. There are some great gifts here and we will be back the next time we are in Princeton Also they send out monthly catalogs that have some great stuff in it and I would recommend signing up for it if you get a chance. read more

We worked with Sam Ali on designing our wedding invitation suite from Crane & Co., and are so happy that we did. She worked hand in hand with our calligrapher to get wording, format it, and send it to Crane for engraving and didn't miss a beat when it came to proofing deadlines and delivery time. She knows all the stationers offerings like the back of he own hand and after casually asking us a few questions to get a feel for what we needed, she didn't hesitate to point us in the right direction as we were mindlessly thumbing through the sample books on the nice big craft tables in the store. Aside from wedding stationary and invitation suites, this place has a ton of great stuff and is worth a stop if you're in town! Imported wrapping papers, greeting cards, envelopes and paper in all shapes and colors, rubber stamps, embellishments for DIY projects, scrap booking accessories, and quirky gifts too. I could spend an afternoon just browsing through everything! And, if you need help with any of your crafty projects, Maria is a wealth of information and is sweet as pie! read more

Ah, I wanted to love this place! The customer service was good. However, and keep in mind I have no problem spending money on quality items, the prices are insane for what you get! For example, I just went to write out a card I purchased from there... and it doesn't even open; $7 for a "card", and $36 for 3 rolls of wrapping paper that barely covered the 2 gifts I had! They also didn't have much of a selection for children's cards or children's birthday wrapping paper. I love arts, crafts, and party planning so I wanted to like this store, however with the options of Etsy, AC Moore, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc., it's just not worth the price tag. read more

I went to the Paper Source on Nassau Street to have a wedding shower gift wrapped. The entire experience was terrible. I will not be going back to this store for their wrapping service and I highly discourage others from using it. 1. They were unorganized and didn't give me proper direction on the process. It took asking the right questions to figure out how to actually use their service. 2. They were not helpful. I received no guidance as to which products would best suit my needs. They basically refused to speak to me until I paid for the goods (which, I realized, after paying, were not the right ones to have purchased). 3. The actual wrapping itself is ridiculously expensive and the final product looked sloppy and unprofessional. As a non-crafty person, I could have done a much better job myself. The only redeeming aspect about this experience and the store is that they have a nice (NOT excellent) selection of paper. read more

We ordered our wedding invitation suite through the Paoli Paper Source. We stopped in once to simply browse and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable and estimated our order. Once we were ready to order we stopped in again on the day before Thanksgiving-- a very busy day at the store. We were walked through the ordering process quite thoroughly, with attention to correct spelling and verifying all of our choices, putting our minds at ease! The staff also shared tips for DIY elements and cost saving options, putting our wallets at ease as well :) Once we placed our order, we were emailed proofs and were able to add an extra item to our order with ease again at the store in Paoli. We were sent a second round of proofs, and easily approve the printing via email. The invitations arrived at the store in Paoli beautifully packaged in addition to being a wonderful final product. We thank the staff at the Paoli store for helping us make our wedding day special with stunning invitations we will treasure now and forever. Ignore my previous review. I have now found that paper source Princeton is the cause of some of the issues. When in the store we requested that our thank you notes and envelopes be 4×6 so we could include pictures in our thank yous. We are now sitting here trying to write our thank yous but have found that the cards and envelopes are too small! Looking back at our order I can see the issue, which is something we should have caught but missed. This on top of all our other issues which caused paper source corporate to refund our entire order tells me the company is one to stay for away from! Other issues include -not having the paper for our order -not alerting us to the delay caused by not having the paper until the day before delivery was expected -printing items on the wrong sized paper -not sending extra envelopes we ordered -customer service not responding to our emails or calls for days at a time. In the end I did love my invitations but this vendor has caused us stress an aggravation for months. I originally gave a 5 star review because of the end response by paper source and the finally product but with another issue on top of the previous ones it's just too many problems in one order. read more

The Paper Source is absolutely unparalleled in this area. In other similarly named stores such as The Papery you have to wade through mountains of tacky greeting cards and stationery to find any paper suitable for making things of your own. The Paper Source, on the other hand, has rows of beautiful, ornate specialty paper and a back room filled with colorful card stock, etc. In between are all kinds of notebooks, art & crafting supplies, unique greeting cards and other adorable things. The prices seem very reasonable too - I'm often pleasantly surprised when I pick up a huge sheet of some beautiful, handmade-looking piece of paper and it only costs about half as much as I expected. There are numerous Michael's and other franchise arts & craft stores around where I live but I find myself making the trek to Princeton whenever I'm working on a project that requires something a bit more special. read more
