The older blond lady around lunch time who said I made her register go down because I didn't have a phone number in their system lol!! I'm sorry; why are we being so snotty? She also yelled at me for not being able to decipher where exactly the line was (because there were four registers with nobody in line). Honey; I have worked retail for over 23 years myself and I don't know who you think you are but YOU are working! Which means you probably need the money or your working for the discount! I'll start off by saying I love Anthropologie but I will NEVER return to this store to make a purchase. I'll happily drive to Fort Worth or purchase online. The ladies that work at this location are some of the rudest, snobbiest people I have come across. So I love Anthropology. I'm happy to spend my money online. however, the ladies who work in this store, especially the dressing room and the most unwelcoming and bordering rude people. For a store that needs customers to spend money in, this is the absolute opposite. if I were the owner, I'd flip my lid. They were rude to my 20 yr old daighter who I was trying on dresses. I love Anthro, and I mean LOVE it. However, the older blonde sales associate must have been having a bad day. I'm hoping the Southlake manager will see this because perhaps it is time to do a refresh course for your associates on customer service. Long story short, I came in for a price match because the sweater I just purchased was on sale for 50% off. The sales associate acted like it was a sin for me to request a price match! She made the comment "well not many people know about this cyber Monday deal" and I wanted to say "and....? I do!?" I'm curious--does she lose out on money for refunding my $21? After the price match debacle, I kindly asked her to place an online order for me in store and she was unable to find the item online, despite me providing the SKU # for her. She went back and forth with me until she *finally* found it and was snarky the whole time. It seemed I was an inconvenience for asking her to do something other than scan and bag my items... anyway. Hopefully this is addressed at the Southlake, TX location soon--Christmas is right around the corner and a small "thanks for shopping!" goes a long way for spending all my money there! read more

My brother-in-law went to this location to buy a gift for my sister on Thursday, April 20th. He picked out a dress and some shoes. There were three people behind the counter talking. One person was ringing up a customer. He circled the store twice, and no one bothered to ask if he needed help. He ended up putting the dress and the shoes back. For years he has taken my nephews in for each of them to pick an outfit out for my sister. What a shame that customer service has come to this especially at a high end store. I truly hope that upper management sees this and makes some changes. read more

I have shopped this store for a long time but not sure I will be back after I was treated absolutely horribly by who I assume was the manager on duty around lunchtime on 5/9/25. I had received a gift from a gift swap of glassware not my style. Still wrapped and in the Anthropologie box. I wasn't aware the policy of no receipt had changed but without me asking the girl helping me looked over to ask if she could do a credit. Who I assume was the manager started rolling her eyes at me and huffing and puffing while checking someone out and yelled over to me and said "you're going to get flagged when we use your license if you do this ever again." First of all, I've never tried to return to this store without my receipt. It was a one time situation and didn't have the phone number for the who the gift was from and I've never asked before because I've always had a receipt or my phone number to lookup. I also wasn't aware the policy had changed because it's never come up. I was extremely polite and never even asked for an exception. I've just never been treated so rudely for no reason and also felt humiliated that she yelled this across the checkout area like I was a common thief. I really wish I had asked for a name but I was so embarrassed that I just took my credit and left. Horrible behavior whoever it was. read more

Worst store ever. I used to shop a lot in one of their stores in Edgewater NJ. Mind you, that area of NJ is affluent. But never experienced snotty sales associate. Always happy to help with a smile. Meanwhile this store in Southlake is filled with sales associate that gives you so much attitude when you are asking for help. If you are not a certain type of color and tax bracket. They either will ignore you or be rude to you for no reason. That's why I try to avoid this store as much as possible. I'd rather shop online. read more

A-OK place to stop in and look around... Not for myself mind you, but when Thuy and I are "on the Square", Anthropologie is a fun place to look around. Since the store does some sell some "architectural elements" for the home, it's not a complete waste of time for the more masculine gender. One tip: Be sure to make your way all the way to the back (southwest corner I think) to the "bargain room" - Here's where you will find all the items that are on sale, which is where the prices become a bit more palatable (at least to my sense of value). read more

Love this Anthropologie their selection and overall size of this store is so much bigger than the Oklahoma folks are used to. I love the layout also. The sale room isn't cram packed and it's organized much better! You're never left walking around with items in your hand because they always have a enough people walking around helping you getting you a room, etc. Their great home and kitchen ware are towards the front of the store. If you need new dishes, candles, Baking accessories visit this store they'll have a much better and cuter might i add selection than any target. read more

I was visiting the area and will never go to this location again. I've been to Anthropolgie's in varies states and this has been the worst experience by far. It's in an extremely affluent area so I'm not surprised. I did make a purchase but when I went to checkout the lady thought I was there to return the item. How rude! From the moment I stepped into the store to the moment I left, it was obvious they only care about certain types of customers. If you don't look like a wealthy person don't waste your time. I have always loved shopping here until today. Normally, the sales associates are always so friendly and helpful. I passed 3 employees and not one said anything to me until I was literally walking out the door and an older lady (not in her 20's) told me to let her know if I needed anything. The store is absolutely gorgeous and I actually came in ready to spend some money on Christmas presents but I was very disappointed in the staff today. Sometimes a simple "Hello, how are you?" can work wonders. I definitely have never needed the red carpet rolled out but a simple acknowledgement that I am in your store would have been great. read more

This is a good size store that carry's a variety of items for the home. While I enjoy shopping their clothing line, shoes and accessories, I've never found anything I fall in love with for the price. However, I adore all of their quirky furniture items and drool over their collection of knobs and furniture accessories. They really are beautiful and not like anything you can find easily elsewhere items. For now I have 3 sets of ornate clear glass, multi-cut doorknobs I had sawed in half to use as stationary drape holders in my living room. They look beautiful and pop against the grey/blue wall. I love Anthropology but am only giving them 4 stars bc they tend to be a bit pricier than some items warrant. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WAS AT THIS ANTHROPOLOGY. I was looking in their sweaters and I noticed a sleeve was burnt on one of the sweaters. (From one of the candles they had burning on the table) I immediately told a sales associate and she said "ok I'll fix it." She then proceeded to refold the sweater and roll up the sleeve so you couldn't see the burn mark. I asked her what she thought she was doing trying to resell it... She literally said 'maybe someone won't mind the burn mark.' WTH. I then asked to speak to a store manager and relayed what happened. THE STORE MANAGER HAS NO ISSUE WITH SELLING A DAMAGED PRODUCT AT FULL PRICE AND NO PROBLEM WITH THE FLAW BEING ROLLED UP SO NO ONE CAN SEE IT. Again.... WTH. ANTHROPOLOGY isn't a cheap store and you would assume that all their products would be of the best quality... But this experience showed me that this company's policy is to rip the customer off in any way available. I would give zero stars for the zero f$&@s this company gives to the quality of their over priced flea market bargain bin products. My new favorite store! Kind of pricey but it's all worth it, so if you want to treat yourself this is the place to go to. The employees are very friendly and helpful. One of the girls took the time to make sure I found the right shade of tinted moisturizer, so I'm happy! And a lot of things you find over here can't really be found anywhere else. Ahh this store is magic. It has whimsical housewares, and unique clothing. The staff are always helpful and are great at helping you pull together an outfit so don't be afraid to ask for their help! This is for the company and not this particular store. We are long time Anthropolgie shoppers (buyers), however, we will not be going back due to a complete lack of customer service. I want to buy a $3K sofa (including delivery). I send a note asking for swatches and am told that there are none (not true). I send a note asking the difference between their velvet and slub velvet, a delay and then basically, an "I don't know". After a week of this back and forth and me begging for pictures, a location of where I could see the fabric (although I was perfectly find with a verbal answer and support), any type of advise on the make up of the cloth and I am finally given a different email and phone number for their "furniture" area. No statement that they will call or contact me and an apology for the ridiculous service. When you pay for fashionable furniture, clothes etc.. and pay top dollar you expect to get service for the investment. I am taking my business to a custom furniture builder but Anthropolgie, you really missed the mark on this one and funny still, after I emailed my questions to the appropriate contact, surprisingly I still haven't received a response.
