Nice less touristy spot vaguely near the harbor. Mostly seafood on the menu. Pizza is beyond good in Naples, but not exactly light. One of the secret ingredients is buffalata mozzarella, from those local water buffalo. They had a nice looking item, swordfish carpaccio on buff mozz with purée of peas. Outstanding and unusual.

Great spot for dinner. Our hotel recommended this place, and after some struggles with a cab driver and a 20 min walk in the rain, we finally made it there. The restaurant has a small area outside to eat at, and a small interior space... with an open kitchen. We were seated right next to the cashier station, which at first seemed like a bad idea... but it actually worked out great. The waitress was friendly and spoke her mind, and the manager/owner was wonderful. Since she was at the cashier station most of the time, we ended up having a great time with her. Place is clean, quaint and lots of nicknacks everywhere. We went through the wine list and also the menu, went over the specials and then ordered three dishes to share. First, the mozzarella caprese, which was amazing. Tomatoes were fresh, and the mozzarella was tender and creamy. The olive oil also added a nice touch to the dish. Next came the gnocchi, which was prepared in a Neapolitan sauce. It's a tomato based sauce with braised meat, that's cooked for 7 plus hours... so tender and delicious, and our favorite of the evening. Finally, to finish, we had the meatballs... tender and very flavorful and also came in a tomato sauce... and three to share. Ok, so we have overdone it with the food... but we really enjoyed everything. For drinks, we had some sparkling wine to start, followed by a glass of red for me, and finally some limonchello to end the evening. Prices are also very decent. Highly recommend this place for a bit to eat and some great company.

Tandem is amazing. We went to the original location for lunch without a reservation, and they told…read moreus that they were booked up, but that they had a second location a few blocks away that could likely accommodate us. They picked up the phone, made a call, and a table was secured. We walked over, and were immediately seated. The waiter brought a box of multiple shapes of pasta, explained what each was called, and which sauces were appropriate with each. We ended up ordering caprese salad (the freshest buffalo mozzarella we ever had), one pasta, and the bread loaf filled with meatballs and ragu. We were in heaven, and the portions were tremendous. We left stuffed, satisfied, and paid about 45 euros for the meal. Highly recommended!

But the staff was friendly and we were able to get a seat without too much of a wait. I'm giving this restaurant 5 stars primarily because the offer something very unique. A vegetarian Ragu with seitan. This place is known for great ragu, which is meat based. But they offer a vegitarian version that was very good. I got a mushroom pasta dish that was very tatsy and filling. I could only eat half due to how filling it was. My wife got an Aperol spritz and I got an italian beer. If we were back in the area we'd likely stop back in to rty other options on their large menu.

We decided to come here for dinner and were craving a good seafood pasta. They also had their famous Seafood Risotto for two and we could decide, so we shared the seafood pasta as a starter and the Risotto for two for our entree. Service was great and friendly and our pasta was to die for! Spaghetti cooked perfectly al dente mixed with mussels and eggplant topped with parmigiano reggiano. Simple, straightforward, and super tasty. The vibe is awesome with outdoor dining and people watching going on, people are just in the moment of things and conversations the night away, NOT on their phones. I was expecting a pot of risotto to come to our table to split, but we were pleasantly surprised and super pumped that two full sized plates were delivered, fully loaded with clams, prawns and langoustines and a perfectly done risotto on the bottom. For 28 euros?(about $33 usd) You definitely won't get even ONE plate for that price in America! Needless to say, we were stuffed by the end of our meal and decided to walk it off in the bustling streets before seeking out dessert options.
