I really like this place. It's close to home and a perfect place to come to when you want to check from work early on a Friday. Great beer! Great people! Food is delicious. They have a patio area and an upstairs thats cool! Tuesdays the have trivia night super fun!​

The most noteworthy thing about Antidote is their service. In a word, it is superb. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The building is also very large, with the bottom floor looking like a typical bar, and the large upstairs area featuring bands, and lots of wide open spaces between tables[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a good place to see a band, with appropriate volume levels and plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was a different story. I opted for a "Beef So Gouda" sandwich, a cup of the daily special soup, and the pretzel sticks. The sandwich was terrible...a literal 1/2" stack of tepid gouda atop flavorless, tough, and gristly sliced beef on a stale roll. The pretzels were about what you'd expect for what tasted like frozen, factory-made pretzels. The soup was excellent! A nice chicken gnocchi that was so good, it is still hard to believe that it came out of the same kitchen. It was also served with an unremarkable breadstick, that was wet on the bottom. The next day, I had quite a bit of gastrointestinal distress, but those who also ate there were fine, so that may not have been causally related. If you're only getting beverages, you'll probably like Antidote just fine. I got some non-alcoholic hop-infused beverages that were quite lovely. read more

We requested beer recommendations and one of them that he suggested (which I was unsure about) nailed it! We purchased the Raspberry Rumba double IPA (neither of us are IPA affectionados and we let Alex, know this) but his recommendation, was spot on! No, no, no, no and a yes. We had (2) nachos, steak bites, a Cali wrap and Brussel sprouts. The nachos were terrible, honestly-you can make far better yourself. The Brussel sprouts were undercooked but had good flavor, streak bites were tiny, but the Cali wrap recipient said it was good. So, overall, poor food quality. The beer was good, so that was nice. Unfortunately, the server couldn't have given two rips about service. I'd give the service a zero. There are too many establishments that really try to provide good service to mess around with one that doesn't. The food is forgivable, poor service isn't. read more

We have been here twice & both times our appetizers came out like a dessert should (last) staff seem friendly - however they need to be trained better. I paid $100 for what?! Checking back with your tables after they get food would alleviate this issue. Steps of service needs to be dialed in; offering your guests specific food items / drinks and offering specials & not scheduling newest employees on your busiest days & times. Being a new business... Trying to cut them slack. But an 1.5 hour wait for a sub par salad & fries? With a server who didn't smile or explain the wait, didn't sit well with our group. Beer list is interesting. Service friendly. Progressive happy hour is cool. Other reviews tend to dis the food but we shared a tuna melt and enjoyed it. Also there is a cooler of interesting cans and bottles to go, that's cool. The part that stops me from rating this place higher is the setting. The outdoor patio is literally in a giant parking lot shared with several other businesses and it is right next to the I-5 freeway. It's kind of incredible to sit next to a freeway and drink. And I don't mean that in a good way. Also the patio is enclosed in vinyl. That might be nice when it's cold out and they are using the heaters. But we were there on a warm day and it would have been nice to open it up to let fresh air in and let germs out. We are still in a pandemic. I guess this place is doing the best it can given its location and the current world situation. And if you happen to be in Woodland I'm sure it's the best place to find a good selection of craft beers. So yes I will go here again if I'm in town! read more

My friends and I were staying in town for a concert, and stopped by here on our way on a whim. Everything was amazing! The service is great, the food was so good, and drinks of course were good. We shared the pretzel bites and queso, Brussels and bacon, and the steak bites. Everything was amazing! The queso was some of the best I've had paired with pretzels but the winner was the steak bites. Noticed today that there was another Antidote in Woodland so I decided to stop by on our way home from work. It is a spacious place with similar vibe to the one in Longview. Beer is always good. Had the thai soup and it was really good. I would've had a full bowl. My husband had the reuben sandwich and I had the BMG burger. Both were very good, but I think his wins. Will definitely be back now that they are closer to home. read more

My husband and I ate lunch here today. We didn't have beer, so I can't speak for that part. However, we both found the food disappointing and unimaginative. Nothing I couldn't execute at home when I felt, at best, only half willing to cook. Garlic mushrooms- cooked in nothing, slightly burned, melted butter to make them only kind of edible. Very sad, they have to be kidding to serve this. Sliders- beyond meat burger cut in half with boring, pre made bbq sauce and cheap bun, bag of chips. Cheese steak panini- chucks of steak, a few peppers and cheese, tortilla chips out of a bag with no salsa. The execution was half hearted at best here for the $46 we spent with them. read more

I really liked this place! There's some mixed reviews on here but our whole family had a good experience. NoLa Bowl was great, everyone else said they liked their food. However, inside the taproom there was plenty of seating, but all of bistro height, and I am a short person with mobility issues. So we took a table in the parking lot patio and had to deal with the freeway noise. My husband and I visited the new Antidote Tap House in Woodland for the first time today. We ordered the Reuben with a cup of soup (today's was Thai coconut). Both were delicious. They have done a nice job of creating an attractive space, and they have a "white tent" outside in case it is needed again. The roll-up garage door will be nice in good weather. I was impressed when I noticed that all three of the employees who I saw wore their face masks over both mouth and nose. Thank you for caring about your customers! We watched one employee who was working hard, always busy, and who took particularly good care when sanitizing tables. I commented to my husband that he must be the owner, because most employees I have observed at various restaurants cleaning tables during Covid do a quick spray and wipe, not a thorough job. I asked him if he was an owner. To my surprise, he is not! His name is Alek (with a "k," he said). We owned businesses for years, and we are always impressed when we observe an employee who does a good job. We will be back, and we will bring friends. Welcome to Woodland. We were so excited to get a new place in woodland! Cool vibe, drinks good. Don't go there hungry, ordered the ABG grill sandwich, so dry, cheese not melted, friends ordered cowboy burger and grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Looked like kids menu size, the guys had to have snack when they got home. Meal took long time to get but our server explained they were busy so that's ok.
