The owner/staff noticed what we were shopping for and directed us towards the "shops" that they knew were carrying it. The building itself is also antique which, like a lot of the antique malls on Hwy 99, adds to the experience. People working at the mall were a little preoccupied and the front desk attendant wasn't observing COVID requirements. We kept our space and the selection made up for it. Breaking this appart the selection is 4 star, the staff a little less. It's still worth checking out.

All the norms - furniture, art, dinnerware and serving pieces, glasses, clothing, books, jewelry, collectibles - it's all there! What interests me the most is that there are still lots of buyers for these pieces. I say that because many Of my friends, and myself, held on to lots of my mother and grandmothers treasures but when downsizing, the next generation had no interest. Many of us donated to Goodwill and the Salvation Army and I see so many similar pieces in this store and other antique shops. While not my taste - I prefer mid-century mod - I still appreciate the beauty and marvel over many of the inventive items of the day. The furniture is so detailed, the chests and cabinets with lots of compartments and drawers, all so beautiful. The serving pieces and bar ware always captures my attention and Main Street Mercantile had lots! Definitely visit while in Aurora because if you are visiting this town, it's most like for the antiques. Just be careful walking around as the floors aren't even and steps appear out of nowhere.
