Shoppers can find a diverse selection of goods, including buttons, costume jewelry, household items, one off treasures, hats, as well as vintage clothing. The inventory is constantly changing, offering a new experience with every visit. I didn't know how much I would enjoy this store until I got sucked into the different things for about a half an hour. If I wasn't on a time crunch I would have stayed longer. I enjoyed the friendly greeting when I walked in the door. There were some great sales going on that she wanted to make sure I knew about. Things were moderately priced and you could find a really good deal.

This was a very large grocery store sized building that had automatic slider doors. Inside appeared to be many many booths and venders but most were not attended. (Prices were as marked and I'm assuming you checkout at the front?). I saw weird and bizarre thrifts from a coffin made for a set of twin men to a literal taxidermied bear for like $15K, to standard antiques like coins and trains, and of course items like figurines, corningware Pyrex dishes, and various decor. Definitely check out the whole store before you make a purchase as I did see a few venders have the same (or very similar) items. Fun to pop in. Plus they have shopping carts which was great for plopping our toddler in as we looked around a little more confidently with her contained (the $5 beanie babies are a decent buy to keep a little one happy while you take your time shopping).

This is a nice little shop located off of the main drag in Carson City. The shop has a good selection of what appear to be quality pieces including china, lamps, pictures and other odds and ends and unique items. What struck me is that it seems like the owner take some pride in the selection and is not just peddling and old junk like you find in some of the Reno shops. The lady working the counter (who I assume is the owner) was very helpful. The shop is not cluttered at all and everything is displayed well.

When we got there the owner, Julie was standing on the porch painting the most incredible Floral I've ever seen, her artwork is just spectacular. We went inside and the house goes forever, all kinds of rooms and little alcove filled with the most amazing antiques and collectibles plus beautiful items for the house. My daughter-in-law bought an iron stone soap, dish, and found out that August 14 and 15th will be a big sale there 50% off everything in the store. The staging of the items is beautiful, lovely touches everywhere. If you are into all kinds of beautiful things and antiques collectibles and things to decorate your home with, I would suggest you go there. Make sure you have plenty of time because there's so much to look at so many beautiful things.

All of them are over 50 years old who have been collecting stuff for over 30 years. What a treasure hunt-no wonder they call it VC's Treasure Island! They have a lot of vintage knickknacks, signs, dishes, jewelry, homemade crafts, yard ornaments, you name it you'll probably find it there. Their inventory is constantly changing so it's fun to go in and browses around for yourself or for a loved one, you never know what you're going to find. Aunt B & the staff are so nice and helpful when locating your treasure. They have places to sit on the porch or benches around the property to sit back and relax after shopping or before. There is plenty of gravel parking and easy to find right off the Main Street in downtown Carson City.
