Shoppers can find a diverse selection of goods, including buttons, costume jewelry, household items, one off treasures, hats, as well as vintage clothing. The inventory is constantly changing, offering a new experience with every visit. I didn't know how much I would enjoy this store until I got sucked into the different things for about a half an hour. If I wasn't on a time crunch I would have stayed longer. I enjoyed the friendly greeting when I walked in the door. There were some great sales going on that she wanted to make sure I knew about. I walked through it all, most I assume to be a hefty collection of rented "booths" and maybe some consignment. I'll need to come back again, as each antique store visit is just one layer of the onion. The antique wares were well organized throughout, although with differences in display density. There was a pleasant atmosphere in the store, both from staff and all the curious folks like me taking it all in. The husband of a friend used to be an antique dealer and he often talked about collection cycles and people age out and their treasures move on. I thought of that as I perused and sometimes admired an impressive collection of "stuff" that were previously special to their previous owners, and would someday be again.

We drove down curry and I had seen this adorable house with incredible things outside and so we stopped to visit. When we got there the owner, Julie was standing on the porch painting the most incredible Floral I've ever seen, her artwork is just spectacular. We went inside and the house goes forever, all kinds of rooms and little alcove filled with the most amazing antiques and collectibles plus beautiful items for the house. My daughter-in-law bought an iron stone soap, dish, and found out that August 14 and 15th will be a big sale there 50% off everything in the store. The staging of the items is beautiful, lovely touches everywhere. If you are into all kinds of beautiful things and antiques collectibles and things to decorate your home with, I would suggest you go there. Make sure you have plenty of time because there's so much to look at so many beautiful things.

Inside (and at least on the first floor) are several room chock full of often-cool, sometimes "huh?" surplus-related "stuff". Walking in reminded me of the old Morley's Book Store and maybe Petersunn's Antiques in Genoa. As it turns out, the owner (Gary) knows these guys and has traded with them. I couldn't even begin to understand the purpose and background for much of this merchandise. At the same time, ask and Gary will offer you a clear explanation. Then there's the dense "layers of the onion" aspect this place. I was pleased to finally get out of here with a cute little utility knife, but left wanting to return soon and dig in some more. But that might take hours.
