Come to the Pomona Collectors Street Faire on the last Saturday of these months: January, March, May, September and November. It's from 8-2 p.m. and you can find all sorts of cool items like comic books, vintage magazines, vintage toys, kitchenware, jewelry, homemade craftwork, and more. Cash only please. The people are super friendly and can tell you where and when the items came from. Second street off of Garey Ave is blocked off so you can stroll at your leisure without worrying about traffic. Persnickety Antiquity is also open during the event so you can pop inside and take a look. The big holiday street faire in November right after Thanksgiving is when you'll see the most tables/vendors out, so don't miss it! Okay so if you're more of a night owl, come to the Second Saturday Art walk each month or the 4th Saturday food truck event that are both also on 2nd Street in downtown Pomona with live music and fun booths from 6-9 p.m.! read more

This place is one of my favorites! This antique store is a trip! First the usually have music playing that makes you want to dance. The merchandising that goes on in every little nook is creative and professional. Prices are mostly legit. I just love the whole vibe! read more

Decided to take a stroll through these antique shops, while visiting some friends in Pomona. Strolled through a couple of the stores, but unfortunately there wasn't anything that peaked my interest. I think it's fab that the I.E. has it's one spot place to shop for antiques.. it only blows that business is so bad in the area and rent can be notoriously high than it should be. Right across the Artist's district, and with nifty residential live/work lofts above businesses, this place buzzes with activity on the weekends. But otherwise, it's deadsky. : / And sometimes I feel like their prices are a bit outrageous too. read more

A lot of other yelper's give Antique Row slack but this place is cayute. Antique Row is a small street in Downtown Pomona that houses several small antique malls and shops. Additionally, there are several little restaurants and bars where you can stuff your face and black out. Yes, it's true that there are many vacant storefronts and there are undoubtedly places were you can find many of the items available cheaper online but who would you rather support? some wizard behind a computer screen in Nebraska or someone who lives in the same state as you? Some tips for your trip to Antique Row: The vast majority of the stores actually have a lot of neat toys and hobnobs and as long as your children are not feral, coming here with them may actually be a fun option. Come energized because after one or two stores everything is going to look the same ( and this may or may not because many of the things are not the same) There's parking on both sides of the strip and when I came early on a Sunday afternoon I was able to find parking immediately ( first two hours three). Remember, you're going for the experience not the bargains. Treat yourself but keep that in mind. Antique Row provides for a fun afternoon destination but approach with caution. read more

I would have to add some useful information about the Pomona Antique Row . . . Although it's hidden and yes the business does suck a lot around there it is the oldest part of the I.E / L. A citrus area.The parking arrangement is in the small private lot on the right side entering the strip, or on the left side which would be behind the Angelo's Pizza, Street parking is also available, The movie the cat in the hat was filmed here a few years ago so you will find the last of the props which is one great big top hat on top of a shop next to the Subway, the moment you take A walk around the area will have you envision the Greatness of the small strip and the beauty of the old age / Victorian Architecture. Some people confuse the Antique Row & the Art Colony . . . The Antique Row is the East side of the 2nd street Block i.e From Angelo's Pizzeria and further down: There you will find a complete block with antique and vintage shops filled with items great for any collector or almost just about any theme you might have your little heart into. Some shops are three stories which are all accessible, for shopping. Even if you don't want to spend a lot of money they are great spots for window shopping and even to just educate your self on older life living necessities. Here you will find A Chinese Antique shop, about seven or eight Regular "every thing" shops, One Great Toy and Collectible Store and an Army / Military store. If your into toys and books the shop to hit is"olde towne pomona antique mall" you'll find that on the South side of the strip. The entire store is sub divided by several different sellers within, and most things are put in a glass display cases, but the friendly people who work there come around often asking if you need help with any thing in any of the cases. They have a great sci fi Room, filled from top to bottom, they have vendors who carry large collections of rat rods, and hot wheel cars, and there is one vendor who specializes with all types of Barbie's . . even the hard to find originals. Another Great spot for shopping is the "Robbins Antique Mart" this shop is three levels of which basement consists of lots of furniture, the middle walking in area has several great "every thing" shops in which you will find one of the finest Vintage Costume Jewelry store's around . . . it's space # 32A. The top and final level you will find a variety of great vintage clothing and more antique and vintage furniture. one of my favorites is shop 6, here you will find the cutest clothes ever, and the display of this space makes you feel warm and happy, as if your right at home. The sales this space makes goes to a special non profit organization. This is truly a very fun place to visit if you only open up your heart and give it a go. All shops have sells year round so once you check out you'll realize you made out like a bandit. Every one in the area are very nice and friendly people, the atmosphere is very laid back so it's great to have a " ME" moment. It's over all a fun place, if you get hungry you'll find great food at the Pizzeria, they have some soul food and mediterian, you will also find a Hooka bar, and your classic brew bar "Characters Bar". Most places take ATM and credit cards, if worst comes to worse, there is a Bank Of America around the corner. Come early, with a few bucks in your pockets, and an open mind . . . you will definitely make a great day out of it, and who knows maybe if you bring some one with you, it can even end up being a great bonding experience. read more

I periodically come to Antique Row. Since I am into retrophilia, and under the age of 25, I find it essential to surround myself with things of the past. I always manage to purchase a Kewpie doll, at either of the shops. Most of the shop's employees are kind, helpful, and I am thankful for that. Antique row, is a local gem without a doubt. read more

Big fan of antiques (kind of). I enjoy that odd piece and you can for sure find it here. My hubby took me here today for part of my vday gift day. With antiques you have to find that piece you can not live with out (we found 5 today). Make sure you try to barter!! DO not take kids!! The thing I would advise is watch the air quality in the buildings - it is musty and by the end of the day I was feeling it. I will forsure go back with my gf next time. read more

Great for antiquing and hanging out, Antique Row is always an entertaining gander! There's tons and tons of different antique and thrift-style stores on about three or so blacks. On the main strip, you'll also find The Glasshouse, which is a small, standing room music venue that frequently features some pretty impressive bands and musicians alike. However, it is sometimes pretty quiet depending on what day you go, and can be a bit depressing at that. No matter, the shops, the district's architecture, and feel mostly make up for the crowd-void. read more

If you love, love, love antiques, this is the place to be. A small boulevard showcasing antique stores on both sides of the street. You can spend one hour in one and four hours in another. Completely up to you. Browse, cruise, take in the art of gazing through the many trinkets, paintings, objects, etc. Highly recommend an all day affair if visiting Antique Row. This is such a travesty. I remember even 10 years ago there were so many antique shops to go to here now only a couple. Luckily the two story building has new owners and I do find occasionally something when before it almost never. By far the coolest place in Pomona. Honestly every city's downtown area has the best stuff and this is no exception. Antique row is exactly how it sounds, a row of antiques. There are tons of antique stores along 2nd street and each one of them has something interesting to offer. They also hold the Pomona collector's street faire here every last Saturday on every other month. I was lucky enough to show up to the first one of the year and it was purely by accident! There was so much gems I could have bought if only I had cash on hand. The street faire stuff had cheaper items compared to the actual stores but the prices weren't too bad. Id definitely come back here if I wanted to buy a skeleton key or two. Be sure to check this place out if you are ever in Pomona. I don't know why you would be though. read more

Wow came here today with hopes of finding some cool stuff. It's like a ghost town and so many of the stores/booths are empty. Granted it's mid week but it's a sad state of affairs here. If you are looking for big pieces or furniture go elsewhere. If you are looking for smalls there are a couple places that have things. I will not be retuning. read more

Cutest little strip of street I have ever seen! It looks like a storybook/dollhouse! So adorable! It's pretty much the diamond in the rough for the surrounding sketchy areas. Lined with restaurants, art galleries, music venues, antique stores, and more, this definitely has some old fashioned charm too it. And one of the locals told me that they filmed the Dr. Seuss movie set on that strip of street. Pretty cool! read more

Not much to do out here, except go to the Glass house and the bar next door. On wednesdays, they have a small farmers market where you can pick up some fresh fruit and flowers. Other than that, kind of a dead spot. read more

Love this place during the week, it was very very quiet but that is what I liked. I had a great time just walking thru the stores and finding all the great things they had. My husband and I made an afternoon of it. It was great to have so much to look at and great restaurants close by, I would love to check out some of the other shops close by. read more

Fun way to spend a few hours. Stores are mostly large but there are a few smaller ones. There is something for everyone, even husbands. One of the shop owners is not very nice - at Grandpa's antiques "one for the boys" is what the sign says. We didn't think he was a very nice or pleasant person. We actually wanted to buy something from his store, but we weren't having a nice experience so we left. I can get the same thing on eBay for cheaper. But it's nice to see the item in person and shop local. But not this time I guess. There are some restaurants and bars nearby to eat at. Restrooms in the area seem to be an issue, no one wants to let anyone use one. One of the largest stores that had been here a long time has recently closed down, so that's kind of sad sad, but there are two other big ones and some smaller ones too. read more

This place is tons of fun to go poke around in. There are many stores and a lot of them are two or three stories. You can spend a whole day here walking around browsing. I found some good deals last time. I collect treasure trolls and got a bunch of them for a few bucks. read more

I've lived in nearby Claremont for six years and just stumbled upon Antique Row last weekend with my husband and MIL. We had a great time! I'd rather shop local and see things in person any day than buy everything on eBay or etsy. We found some great bargains. Antique Row has many store for every type of person. They have toys, furnature, tea pots, dishes, vintage clothing, and much more. This place is heaven. For sure this is one of the best antique malls I have gone to. Weekends are best to go. There is no problems to find parking. The Antique mall is located on 2nd and Garey Ave, between the 10 freeway and the 60 freeway. If you like to treasure hunt this is the place. read more

Whenever I have some extra cash I come here and browse all day. I usually get some great deals on camera's and vinyl. If you go just to look, you'll want to buy everything. I usually go in looking for something specific so I don't spend too much money. All the people working in each store are really nice and really helpful. read more

This is the cutest street in Pomona and if your into antiques, it is a must see. Because of ebay and etsy, you can tell the antique shops are struggling. But if you want to make a day of it I would suggest going. You can visit the shops then take a look at the amazing American Ceramic Museum then have an authentic Mexican lunch at the cute el Merendero, or one of the best burgers in town across Garey at The Rookery. (If you like them to cook it rare, they will!) All in all, its a fun day. There is ample parking and the prices are much better than you would find elsewhere! read more

This is a great place to go antiqueing. There are a lot of shops in just a several block strip so aptly named "Antique Row" on 2nd street between Garey and Gibbs. This old town portion of Pomona is a great little getaway from other more crowded antique shops in the larger towns in Southern Califorina. The shops line both sides of the street with eateries interspersed. Yeah, there are still a lot of buildings empty, but you can tell that Pomona is trying to revitalize it's old downtown area. Even the old Fox theater is in the process of getting restored. All the owners of the antique shops were quite friendly and some couldn't quit chatting even as I was trying to leave the store (literally I had one foot out the door and the guy was still yapping). But there were a lot of unique things to be found in these antique stores. I mean where else can you find those old drinking glasses (Looney Tunes, Charlie Brown, etc.) we all used to get at McDonalds or Burger King? read more

This little street of antique stores is struggling, because of the Ebay craze, but it still survives, and is still quaint and full of memories of the heyday of America, and Pomona itself. (Pomona used to be a destination city in the 40s! Antique Row has about four large antique stores, and a couple of smaller ones. You could judge it against what it used to be, but what's the point? It's better to appreciate and support what is still there. And there are definitely some jems on the Antique Row! I always feel nostalgic and warm-fuzzy walking around there! read more

Disappointed. Had to wait several weeks for my husband to take me antique shopping with his truck. I did not go to browse, I went to buy....looking for an antique end table or nightstand. We had breakfast, a large Starbucks coffee and we were on our way. We were only there about an hour and a half when nature called...remember I had a large Starbucks coffee. Every store had a sign in the window that said "No Public Restrooms". When I found one with no sign, I asked for a restroom and was told, "No, the nearest one is the pizza place on the corner." The pizza place on the corner had a sign that said, "Restrooms for customers only." My husband and I are in our 50's...not likely to vandelize or dirty anyone's restroom however, we had no choice and had to leave. I didn't get to see half of the shops as we lost our parking space and could not return....my husband was too frustrated by then. My day was ruined. Maybe these places would get more business if they were a little more "customer" friendly. read more
