I'll update my review to 5 stars. I came in again looking for a very obscure item. I saw it in the display weeks ago. Didn't know the aisle or the seller and didn't have price tag photo. The entire staff tried to assist me with finding this item - Russian folk instrument Gusli. I was very surprised and pleased with this level of service. Everyone was so personally invested. I found my item and remain so happy with my purchase. If you're looking for items in store, I recommend asking the staff. Also, get the items you want immediately, don't wait or the might be in their new home! read more

Antiques and Uniques located in a shopping plaza on Euclid Avenue in Wickliffe is a large antiques mall. They have taken over a large department store space and divided it into a large number of individual stalls. Each stall is stocked and priced by individual owners which results in a really diverse variety of items. There are true antiques, interesting vintage items, collectibles, art and even furniture. Each item is priced and identified by stall number. I really enjoy browsing through the stalls, some have a clear theme and are consistent, others have a true hodgepodge of items so that you have to take your time looking at what is available. Even though most of the items are not what I am interested in, I always find some items that I am interested in and a larger amount that are fun to see. Pricing is moderate with a wide range from a bit high to some real values. You might also find selected stalls where some or all of theitems are discounted. On one item I wanted the staff was able to contact the seller and I negotiated a lower price. Although I usually hit the thrift stores looking for bargains I do enjoy an occasional visit to Antiques & Uniques to see what is available. I have purchased a really nice Inuit stone carving and have my eye on a really nice Asian wooden mask. Even if you don't find anything to buy this is a fun place to wander around and see what catches your eye. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that you have the ability to just walk around at your own pace and see what is there. If you are looking for something unique, something old or something collectible this is a place to check out. read more

I'm about to lose my Mind! Every time I come here this place has different hours and is closed. They are closed more than they are open. This is my third time stopping over the last year and 2/3 of the time they were closed with crazy business hours. I will never shop here again. This is the last time I drive 15 minutes during the middle of a weekday to shop only to have them closed and locked up. I am done! There are plenty of other people who want my money. Who can stay in business like this?! Don't these vendors want to make money? ? Why are they only willing to take money from me when it's convenient for them but not when it's convenient for me to shop?! No, Tom. You cannot begin to comprehend my frustration with you and your business. Third time is a charm buddy. I'm done with you. I hope your vendors are happy losing hundreds if not thousands of dollars that I spend yearly. read more

I had a lot of fun visiting here with my mom recently, and we both left with a pretty decent haul! Whatever is up with the photos of baby dolls on the Yelp page makes it look creepy, but I promise it's not, and it's fun! They have a pretty houseware heavy selection, and the prices are comparable to other vintage shops I have visited. This is not really set up to be an efficient experience, so do not come with your spouse or your "in with a list" friends. This is a browsing experience, so expect as such. There is an available restroom, and they had some packaged snacks and coffee/drinks up near the register. There are a lot of restaurants around, and the staff are ready with recommendations, so make a day of it! Anyway, I left with some fun "new" dishes and a small solid black teapot. My mom found some craft supplies and books. We had fun poking up all the aisles and into each booth. She saw a lot of things that she remembered from her childhood, and it was a nice time together. there's a lot of space to park items you plan to purchase, with tickets to keep your stuff straight. They packaged our purchases up nicely and offered help out to the car. Just all together a lot of fun. read more

Literally spent hours looking through 100 dealer booths. There is something here for everyone. Some antiques as well as some very creative people with some extremely unique talents. They also had folks there to help answer any questions. We drove 40 minutes to get there and glad we did! read more

Wickliffe is itself an antique. Once a robust mixture of hip urban gastronomy (Arthur Treachers on Euclid Ave or the convenience store where I bought Camel menthols at Worden and Enid) and quaint Alpine living (the park full of geese on 84 by the freeway), sadly it is now a shell of its former self. Empty store fronts, weedy parking lots and the occassional robbery at musket- point by 19th century highwaymen make visits to this area to see my mom downright depressing. But...there's a light! Over at the antique place! There's a ligh-igh-igh-ight, coming from the sports memorabilia vendor space! Sorry, had a Rocky Horror moment. Anyhow, I now fight the urge to come in here monthly and drain my retirement savings (BK coupons and like 8 million in bitcoin). I never leave empty handed. Pop culture from my era(the early 90's), not just the bland 50's. Local sports stuff, advertising, road signs, breweriana, militaria, um, malaria...so on and so on. There are your classic antique-y looking old people things, but not enough to make it a dull experience like most antique stores. There are some reproductions, but unlike unscrupulous ebay sellers, they don't try to fool you or charge antique prices. The prices are very, very reasonable, compared to flea market fiends or the Medina Antique Mall (the Rodeo drive of old Big Boy menus and Hartford Whalers bobbleheads). The space is not so big as to be overwhelming. It only takes me about a half hour to walk the whole thing, then spend the next two hours wringing my hands, breaking out in a cold sweat and cracking up like Barnaby- deciding between the Montreal Expos baby bib for my dog or the toaster strudel box signed by Candace Cameron Bure. F it, I'm getting overtime this month, why not buy both! read more

Antiques & Uniques boasts over 100 vendors and is in a very large space with nicely decorated and organized vendor stalls. However, antique stores like this are always magical at first glance, until you look a little closer and a lot of what you're looking at isn't so antique or unique. Just like many similar stores curated by individual vendors, there's lots of "made in China" items or things made very recently. Nonetheless, this store was fun to browse through, well-attended, and they have a great system to make sure you don't have to carry your purchases all around the store. I ended up finding a little mirrored tray that I like very much! I will be back if I'm in the area, or looking for something uniquely antique! read more

My grandmother recommended I visit here to find some unique decorations for my new apartment. When I arrived and asked for assistance, Jessica helped me find fantastic additions for my living room. After spending about an hour in the store and being overwhelmed by the shear amount of great products, I finally went to check out. This very kind gentleman by the name of Tom (I think he might be the owner) helped me check out and told me about the history of the store. I really appreciated the precautions that were taken into account with COVID looming over this great nation. Social distancing and masks were strictly enforced.
