I was looking online at a car for sale at a local GJ dealership. After a call to an another shop, they referred me to Hunter @ Antonellli's for a long distance pre-purchase inspection. I brought a Subaru Impreza to this shop in June 2026 to diagnose the cause of recurring oil drips coming from the engine/transmission area. The Antonelli's mechanic who inspected the car concluded that these drips were coming from a bad oil plug gasket, and coolant leaking from a "melted radiator" that would cost roughly $3,000 to replace. I authorized the mechanic to change the oil plug gasket and do an accompanying oil change (which they mishandled by overfilling the oil level), and then took the car to the local Subaru dealership. The Subaru dealership mechanic quickly traced the oil leaks to bad gaskets on the transmission check plug which cost $100 to fix. The radiator was perfectly fine. The dealership mechanic was at a loss as to how someone could have recommended replacing it. And the best part - oil was still seeping around the oil drain plug. The root cause of which was an aftermarket oil plug that some shop had installed years ago. It's a minor inconvenience I can live with until my next oil change. My advice - if you own a Subaru, avoid this shop at all costs. You'll be money ahead taking it to the local Subaru dealership instead. read more

We went to Antonelli's to have them fix the brakes and AC. The lug nuts were overtightened and would not come off. Good thing I didnt get a flat. We had to change to winter tires and while trying to change the tires, 5 lugs on 3 of 4 tires broke off. The brakes had to be completely disassembed in order to make this repair, plus we had to go buy the parts to fix it. This happened early morning as we were leaving town for the Thanksgiving holiday. When we got back in town we left a message with the receptionist who said the service manager would call us back. A week later, no call, so we left another message. Still no call, so we emailed. Finally got a call back. The service manager was completely unprofessional, rude and hung up on me without reaching a resolution. Maybe the shop typically does good work, but the service manager was a total jerk, who gives the whole busines a bad name. I will definitely never use them again, and I would definitely not recommend anyone else to use them. read more

My car needed repaired. My circumstances and difficult financial situation were explained to them. Randy was told I was Looking for help with repairs and asked if they would possibly be willing to work with me and if I could make payments. I was told to bring my car in and they would get me taken care of. My car was shaking and running so bad I was even afraid to drive it but did as I had no other options. My initial hope was to get my major concern repaired so we would not get in an accident or be left stranded and possibly make payments if they were willing to work with me. I dropped my car off not knowing what to expect. Randy annd Eric offered a vehicle for me to drive temporarily until my car was fixed. They absolutely made good on their word. THEY TOOK CARE OF ME!! They called me once my car was finished, once I was there Eric told me Not only did they assess and repair my most concerning and immediate issue I had. They fully assessed my vehicle and repaired other issues they saw as immediate safety issues/ concerns. Over a thousand dollars in repairs done. They did not give me a bill or ask to set up payment's not even for the repair I initially asked for . An act almost unbelievable. I was shocked and speechless. I Didn't even have the words to fully convey my gratitude, emotion and appreciation for what they did. I was overcome with emotion and I cried as I left the building so great full for the love and generosity they showed me and son. I broke down when I was outside at my car at the overwhelming love, kindness and generosity show to me. They Went over and above anything I could have asked for, imagined or even dreamed!! I'm so incredibly grateful for the help they gave us and the blessings we have been given. They didn't just fix a car they alleviated all of the problems and issues being without a car would create. I'm in tears even now writing this months later. They are not just fixing cars but helping people!! I'm so greatful for their kindness and generosity. They lifted a huge burden off my shoulders and gave me a sense of hope and new light during a hard time. They charged me $190.00 for the oil change and their "inspection" that I did not ask them to do! Thorough, honest, considerate. My family and I were on a road trip from Oregon this Summer. On our way home, we snapped a bracket on the sway bar of our '01 Cherokee about 20 mi. from Grand Junction. I called Antonelli's about 5 min before they opened for the morning, and they squeezed us in. They couldn't get a new part soon enough to keep us on track, so they welded and re-fabricated our bracket. I am a recent University graduate driving back home from Ohio. In the canyons outside of Grand Junction my car started to overheat. They then squeezed my into their schedule without an appointment. They were very good at explaining everything they were doing and diagnosing along with the associated costs. Once the problem was diagnosed they even drove me to a local brewery to have a bite to eat while my car was being worked on. They misdiagnosed a service and refused to accept a competitors facts (written invoice) that showed the fault. When explaining to Dan, he clearly tried to defend his diagnosis as well as was condisending and personally stated to me that I was "shaking" while trying to make my case. Others may have had wonderful experiences, but if you have a problem that appears to be something they either missed or was improper, good luck in getting it resolved. Had my check engine light come on when I was 30 miles into Utah. Luckily, I was able to return to Grand Junction for the night. Found this repair shop in the morning and they did their best to get my car diagnosed and repaired as soon as possible so I could continue my trip to California. They did a phenomenal job and had my car done by the end of the work day.
