I absolutely love this place. I stopped by a few days ago because I was recommended by a friend. I saw a full page ad in the OC Post, but thought it was just a way of bait n switch. The ad basically said thank you to essential workers, congrats to the class of 2020, the traditional covid sayings. However, there was one thing that stood out, the ad said that his prices did not go up because of covid but it didnt say how much the cut was so I went to my barber. His price went from $16 to $25, oh hell no!!. So I went to Antonio's, I have to admit I was a little skeptical about going in and it first because the shop was located in a converted garage to Barber Shop, not too big no waiting chairs and two barber chairs. The shop was very clean [a + +] he took my temperature name & phone #. He asked me how I wanted my haircut and I was going to show him a picture he told me to just explain I would like it because it would be easier than the looking at a picture. I have to say I do agree with a lot of the other reviews today Antonio is very personable and friendly in the end my haircut was spot-on as I wanted it just by explaining how I wanted it and to top it off it was like $15. When I went to pay Antonio I told him I didn't have any cash he said don't worry about it bring it the next time you come. I went out to the car to go to the ATM machine and my girlfriend told me she had cash but only 15 I felt really bad but I couldn't tip him he said "don't worry about a tip! I brought in my very squirmy and not-happy-to-be-there 18 month old in for a haircut. Antonio did a FANTASTIC JOB! He was so patient and really made sure he gave my son a great haircut! Antonio's Barber Shop is the new location and new version of the former Antonio & Pasquale's Barber Shop from the Big V Plaza. I was a customer of the old "Hair Room" in the late 1990s when Antonio & Pasquale's bought them out, and have been going to Antonio the whole time since then. The new barber shop is a relaxed and casual atmosphere, and professional. Antonio gives great hair cuts, takes his time, pays attention to details, and remembers his customers. A lot of military and law enforcement frequented the old Antonio & Pasquale's since his staff usually consists of retired West Point barbers. It looks like some of his old staff are carrying over to the new shop. The new hours vary and the shop is closed on Sun/Mon. read more
