I tried out this restaurant a couple of weeks ago with my stepson. We did not have to wait for a table, which was nice because it was a busy lunchtime. It did take over a half an hour for our food to arrive once it was ordered. My young stepson was very antsy. The food was pretty good. Our table was sticky. Overall, the restaurant is on the out-dated side, so there is a lot of wear and tear and dirty spots. Not running back. read more

Antonio's breakfast world We were in town visiting family and decided to take a break from Mom & Dad's home cooking and grab some breakfast. Antonio's Breakfast World feels like an old skool Mom & Pop diner when you walk in, complete with daily specials on a folding chalkboard just inside the entry way - and with one doller sign, their prices are just right. This place has that classic local charm atmosphere inside and the family working there is super friendly & helpful. They also have a breakfast counter you can sit at. We sat at a booth which looked comfy but the backs are straight up & down and although are well cushioned, aren't as comfy as they look. I would opt for a table. The coffee was good but wasn't gourmet or anything special so don't expect special roast coffee here - it's good but not outstanding. I got the Bavarian Omelet ($9.99) at the suggestion of our server, which is basically a meat lovers omelet with ham, bacon, sausage, onions, peppers & tomatos. The taste was fantastic and it was cooked just right! It comes with a choice of home fries, French fries or hash browns and a choice of white, wheat or rye toast. I am on a low-carb diet and substituted my sides for grilled tomatoes & spinach which were both great. My girlfriend got the Two Eggs (over easy) with Kielbasa (delicious sausage) ($7.50 - it is $4.99 without a meat selection) served with home fries & choice of toast. The Kielbasa was delicious & cooked just right with that nice pop when you night into it, but show stopper was the home fries! They were seasoned to perfection and were nice & soft but the outside was perfectly crispy! Man I wish I was eating more carbs today! Also, a great inside piece of information is that if you ask for French bread they use Senape's bread which is from a legendary local bakery and it's fantastic! Needless to say my girlfriend got that it had a big smile the whole time she was eating it. Friendly, efficient service. Went solo and sat at their breakfast bar. Food: LOVED their pancakes - I prefer them thinner and more crispy (vs thick and fluffy). I saw some pass by and they looked perfect to my taste. Ordered plain and hashbrowns. The hasbrowns were similar to McDonald's, but a little larger and crispy...I will pass on those next time. Pancakes all of the way...just ask for them to warm up the syrup (which they happily will do). Owner/father cooks, his son works the register. Approaching the diner my father and I were admittedly hesitant to try it out, but figured we would give it a chance. Right away we smelled the aromas of yummy breakfast cuisine and were sold. The ambiance is very quaint. The sound of spoons clinking against coffee cups and silverware cutting food calms the mind. The service was great as well. Server/host was very attentive, making sure our food was to our liking. The only thing I did not like was the decaf coffee, but it's honestly to be expected at diners. We had a very good breakfast here. I got the 2 eggs, grilled kielbasa, yummy crispy and still soft if that makes any sense potatoes and grilled Italian bread (it's senape's!!!). Coffee was hot and a'flowing. The ambiance is like grandma's kitchen but you don't come here for the ambiance and it's been here for 9 years. When you are seated at a table that has a bucket to catch water from the leaking roof right behind your chair, it is a shaky start to say the least. And, the bucket was nearly full. We are breakfast snobs, I'll admit it. We absolutely love a good breakfast and are willing to drive for it. Today we attempted to try a place 10 miles from home, but they had no parking and a long wait, due to how small it is, not due to excellence. So, I pulled up my yelp and looked for options, and this place came up, which I had already made a mental note in the past to give it a try. The reviews did not lie! Let me point out that I am giving this restaurant a five star rating, based strictly on food selection, quality, and pricing...also, our server was really nice. Having said this, it took a long time for someone to come over and offer us coffee and take our order, and a longer than normal amount of time for our food to come. Once our food came, and looked smelled, and tasted so incredible, all waiting was forgiven and forgotten.. My husband and I both opted for the caprese eggs Benedict, and it was absolutely incredible!! Their coffee is also top-notch! We can't wait to go back ! It's very hard to pick a favorite because everything is fantastic, from the omelets to soups to sandwiches to dinners. We just had breakfast there this morning and I had the breakfast quesadilla with the house made sour cream and salsa and home fries on the side. Magnificent! Great portion, very filling to get you through your day. Reasonable prices and the staff are all wonderful. I was Passing thru on a RV trip and wanting some non-chain breakfasts. This place did the trick. Looking at photos, we did have our concerns. The place isn't fancy at all. The dining room is an ensemble of generic chairs and tables, ripped indoor outdoor carpeting and stained drop ceiling tiles. Still, the service and authenticity of the place made it all feel right. We had a younger dark haired girl as our waitress. She was attentive and witty. The bussers were out and about filling coffees. I ordered some omelette that had all sorts of meat in it - and it could have been the best omelette I've ever eaten. (Culinary School included). Hey. Was almost swayed by Huevos Rancheros (had there been chiliquiles - would have gotten them) but was able to order Enchiladas Poblano off the dinner menu. Starter, that came with the meal, of soup or salad and I opted for the Italian sausage soup. Good flavor, only lukewarm. This is where my consideration for 4 stars comes in. My husband had a burrito - and it looked so-so, too. But the enchiladas and the service got them the 5 stars for this trip. Not sure if the mole sauce was doctored jarred, or actually house made (waitress wouldn't say - so I tend to think doctored) but it was very good. More food than I needed. Now called Antonio's. Great breakfast find. When you want to grab breakfast that isn't a chain, I would recommend here for the area. Ordered breakfast burrito and was very happy with it. Asked about biscuits and gravy, which is apparently sometimes a Sunday special, and they had some remaining and they were DELICIOUS. Staff was also very friendly.
