I have been here twice after hearing all of the hype about how good it is. Unfortunately I did not have the same experiences as I find their food bland and appear to be mass produced. I had the chicken parm and the bottom of it was soggy and it did not taste good. The chicken Wings were good, but their alcohol prices are not comparable with other similar establishments. It was really busy last night so we were told there would be a fifteen minute wait for a table. We grabbed a drink at the bar while we waited and were helped by Taylor and Maria. They were both friendly and knowledgable! The wait was more like five minutes which was a pleasant surprise. We grabbed six slices and loved each one. I know from experience that new restaurants need a few weeks to work out the kinks so you can't really expect perfect service .. but my friends and I were all so impressed by the prompt and friendly people that took care of us. This is for the owner. My family, friends and I have been coming to your restaurant since it opened, but this will be the last time. We were regulars and 3 weeks ago, I was there with my wife. We were at the bar and the pizza we order was 45 mins late. We told the bartender Kevin to check on our order and he made a joke about do you want me to go and make it for you. So in return we tiped him very little. Then we were there today and got 3 Venetian drinks, and they had no alcohol and no straws when they gave them to us. I complained to the manager Miguel and offered him pay for juice instead of the actual drink, since there was little if any alcohol. Miguel(the manager) gave the bs response that we could not give free drinks or discount, but he could give us another round of drink, as if I would trust any drinks from this establishment again. I have to say this is one of the best pizza places in town. I have tried the all white pizza and it is amazing. The reason I gave it a four star instead of a five is because when I called to place a take out order they put me on hold and forgot about me and I called a second time and they put me on hold again and forgot about me again. I like Volturna as well but it's a different style of pizza. Volturna is a thin crust, coal oven pizza, while Antonio's is more NY utilitarian but crisper. It's almost like a crispy naan pizza. I attended college at UMass Amherst and I loved to go to go to Antonio's when there. It's always a great place to go and fill any craving you may have while also trying different slices of pizza. It's not expensive and it is very filling. I was so happy to hear this would be coming to Worcester. Since it's opened we've gone three times. This place is nicer, food is great, portion sizes for other menu options are big as well. We ordered the Mac and cheese meals for our kids and we should've only ordered 1 meal. The Mac and cheese was great too, you could tell it was homemade and not made in the microwave like most restaurants you go too. Thanks!!! read more

Heard about a "new" pizza place in the Woo and decided to give it a try. Went on a Saturday around 3:30ish pm. 1st time for me and my wife. The atmosphere was pleasant, not loud and boisterous and we were seated immediately since it was only half full. We tried the fried asparagus "fries" with honey mustard dipping sauce (excellent!!!). They were even better than excellent w/ranch dressing (which came with the traditional bone-in buffalo wings we ordered (very good, right amount of spiciness and piping hot from the kitchen). We also ordered a medium half Hawaiian/Supreme pizza which came with a thin crust and this too was good. Service was great and eager to meet our every request. Would we go back again? I used to love this place until last night. As soon as my fiancé and I walked in with another couple we were out with that night we were approached by the man at the front desk asking how many. I went to talk and he ignored me and began to stare directly down my fiancé shirt. As she was speaking to the man telling him that we were a party of 4 he never made eye contact with her, he kept his eyes down her shirt. He wasn't only taking a glance he was making it totally obvious to everyone around us and my fiancé that he was doing so. It made my fiancé extremely uncomfortable and made me extremely pissed off. I get guys look at girls, but not the way he did and definitely not while you are working. I kept my mouth shut even though I shouldn't have. When I was leaving I approached a woman that took his place at the front and asked who the gentleman was that was there earlier. She told me "oh that was the owner!" We had dinner here last Saturday night. I love how the place is set up. A nice area in front with a pizza bar, geared towards families or a quick lunch, and a nice set up in the back of the restaurant with a huge bar, lots of seating and tables. We sat at the bar and we were extremely happy with our service. We ordered the meatball appetizer, two slices of cheese and a calzone. We wanted to try it all. Everything was excellent. The best part is you can pick any kind of slice you want at the pizza counter and bring it back to the bar. Or there are a number of slices you can just order at the bar. It's nice to have those options for people with differing tastes. I didn't see the drive-thru, but that's a great idea too! read more

Stale cold pizza that you could tell has been sitting out all day. Rude employees watered down expensive drinks. And when I wrote a review on there Facebook page they took it down which is totally unprofessional. They should not be able to take down bad reviews and keep good ones.. that is basically false advertising. It's not giving a person the right to leave a review because they they didn't like the service and products that you have to offer. There is plenty of other pizza places in worcester that offer better food at way lower prices. Save your time and money and eat somewhere else. I wanted to love it here. On the first visit we got drinks and apps which were very good (very attentive bartenders!), although the kitchen forgot to make one of our orders. My second visit was for lunch during a slow time and the food was good. My third visit was for dinner during a very busy time. I called earlier in the day to find out if they take reservations, but the man who answered the phone said he "wasn't sure". Despite the huge crowd, bustling servers, and people waiting, the person who appeared to be a manager, stood at the end of the bar looking at his cell phone nearly the entire time. Tonight, we went for dinner and aside from the food which was solid, it was a very poor experience. At 5pm on a Thursday, every TV was blaring the soccer tournament, so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak. Further, three separate groups of soccer fans were yelling/swearing loudly to each other, across the place. Once the game ended, they turned the sound down on some of the TVs (but not others) and turned on music at a volume inappropriate for dinner time. Our waitress spoke softly and appeared annoyed that we had trouble hearing her. Further, a man came in with a child around age 10 or 11 and sat him at the bar. The man was visibly already under the influence and was served a beer anyway. I did not see anyone who looked like a manager during this visit, which is maybe why it seemed more like a nightclub at 11pm than a family restaurant at dinner time on a weekday. During each visit, the food has always been good quality, but it seems like they have a lot of service and atmosphere issues to work out if they want repeat customers from the community. read more

Food was great. Loved the place it's super cool and nice and new.. I loved everything until the end. Me and my boyfriend got 2 drinks and 2 apps and 2 slices. The two drinks were each $10 so - $20 right there in drinks.. Plus our apps which was a total of $17and then our two slices which were $3.50 each.. So $5, which brings us to a total of $42...So explain to me why my boyfriend gives a $100 dollar bill and then we are given back $43 in change with no receipt. If I do the math correct we should've gotten $58 back.. Then she proceeds to tell us she forgot to charge us for the two slices... Which means she forgot to take another $5 so we would've been left with $38... How does 2 drinks and 2 apps and 2 slices leave us with $38 out of $100. It doesn't and shouldn't. It's because she tried to trick us and thought we were some stupid kids. So we asked for a whole new receipt back with the 2 slices on there that she apparently forgot to charge us for.. And ended up giving her the right amount with a shit tip cause that's what happens when you do grimey things. read more

Rainy Friday afternoon. Pizza will cheer us up! Guess not. My party of three arrived at 1240 pm and was sat immediately. Liz our server was at our table immediately. She had no other tables. After taking our order of a medium Buffalo Chicken pizza and 2 slices. Then our server disappeared. The manager delivered our pizza which arrived pipping hot. The one thing missing was the flavor. Even after adding grated cheese and red pepper flakes the flavor was still missing. Speaking of missing, our server was overwhelmed when she received 2 more tables and could not be found. She did refill our soft drinks but never asked if we were enjoying our pizza. Time to pay had come and gone due to the fact she was " busy". I waved my arms as she stood at the pos but apparently she didn't notice. I called out her name but again nothing. I had my credit card in my hand as she approached our table and I raised up my hand holding the card but she went to the table next to us and did not drop the bill. Hey Liz its time to seal the deal but no luck. I finally left my table and walked to the server station when she finally noticed that I was not too pleased. She came over and dropped the bill and offered an apology regarding our 17 minute wait for the check. She took the card and my Antonios card which she punched 5 times as a gesture to soften my unpleasant smile. The bill was $30.01 for some very bland food and horrible service. This was the WORST experience I've ever had. I'm so mad that I'm writing my first review ever. I ordered a pizza and chicken fingers for delivery.. not only did it take 15 mins to order it with the person who answered the phone he couldn't seem to understand anything so I made him repeat my order my address and card back to me several times. I then was quoted that my food would arrive in 20-30 mins seeing as I live down the street and ordered a small order. Next thing you know an hour and a half goes by and I'm beginning to wondering where my food is because they are now closed. I get a text saying my order would arrive shortly.. another half hour has gone by and I've called the store numberous times and the number that texted us. I finally get an answer at the store and the man tells me I didn't answer my phone or door.. mind you my phone is right next to me and we are waiting by the door. He argued with me and gave me a attitude saying we're not getting our food they are closed and basically oh well THEN HUNG UP ON ME.. what kind of business is this? I don't even think they even wrote down my number correctly. I was told I would be refunded and I check my bank statement and I was charged TWICE!!! I expect a phone call a apology and MY MONEY BACK. This is so unprofessional. Worst experience I've ever had. I will not eat here again neither will my friends who have also had bad experiences! Let me start off by saying that my husband and I love Antonio's pizza! We have been there often during the weekend (day time visits). We ventured out yesterday (late afternoon) to have an early dinner and have to say that although the pizza is still awesome, the service was not. A woman who seemed to be managing last night was loud, obnoxious, disheveled and all over the place, she was a distraction to a peaceful meal. She pulled in the bartender to have loud discussions that did not pertain to business. He too was not on point and seemed he would rather be on his phone or talking to other staff or realistically somewhere other than there. I will say that not all the staff was bad. You had a gentleman trying to train a new employee and he was doing the best he could despite the environment. The server at the pizza bar was fantastic, because he noticed that the bartender was no where to be found and our slices would have sat and got cold. There were two gentleman working on pizzas consistently and I give them high marks, because no matter how often others were walking and talking by them, they continued to work hard. Otherwise it seemed like a free for all with no one sailing the ship. We have never had a bad visit at Antonio's until last night. I'm not saying we will never return, we will just never return during late afternoon/evening hours as the time we spent there yesterday just put a bad taste in our mouths. read more

I have lived in Worcester on and off for the past 10 years and I have tried many different restaurants searching for the an amazing pizza. I have ordered take our from Antonio's on 3 different occasions, with each order yeilding mixed results. My first order was the Avocado Quesadilla which was beautiful in presentation and tasted delicious. My second time ordering our I got the Don Giovanni and the Greek Salad. The salad was fresh and came with an amazing lemon-feta vinaigrette, but the pizza was just so-so. My third order was the Greek Salad (I could drink the dressing alone it's so good) and the Spicy Chicken Mac & Cheese. I was really disappointed in the mac & cheese. There was very little chicken (mostly pulled dark meat) and the cheese sauce is definitely a powdered version mixed with water. I will definitely go back for pizza, but I would steer clear of the mac & cheese if I were you. read more
