Phenomenal meal! The service was fast and friendly as can be. While waiting for the meal, you can enjoy an upbeat ambience in the small, cleanly restaurant. It gave the feeling of warmth and family. And don't get me started on the food: every dish is a hit! I highly recommend any dish with the chicken cutlet. It's huge a cooked to perfection with a tender interior yet crispy exterior. Also, although pizza is the most popular, I would also recommend getting a pasta to share. The noodles are cooked to perfect al dente and each of their causes have immaculate flavor. Phenomenal is right! Some of best wins we've had in Massachusetts! Crispy, and just the right amount of sauce! We had the Buu-a-Que, which was sweet and spicy ask at the same time. For the wings alone we'd be back to try the other flavors (Maple Mustard and Mango Habanero). We are craving Pepperoni and Hot Honey, and their version with a ricotta ''sauce' instead of a red sauce was totally the right move! It gave the pizza a more cheesier taste and showcased the cup pepperonis and hot honey flavors. Our only qualm was that there wasn't enough hot honey. We food the thinner Artisan crust too be light and still provide enough body to carry the load. Maybe they could have par- bashed the crust before putting the toppings on to make the 'underbelly' crisper, but it was great regardless. Their list of craft cocktails was good, but nothing jumped off the page. And a lack of wine choices (my gf likes Moscato - tbh not many places carry Moscato, so it's not a big deal) and no be menu made it a lotto he frustrating to know what to drink. The server was attentive and made sure we had clean plates and plenty to drink. The runner was friendly, as were the greeters. Overall, we'd come back for another meal. Service was great, pizza could have been great. We got a half meatball, half Vesuvius. The sauce, toppings, cheese were all very good. The crust was so soggy we could barely lift pizza off tray with the spatula and everything fell off. The paper on the tray underneath was soaked and stuck to the pizza. No chance of eating with your hands, had to eat it with a fork. No need for a knife. I think this can be great pizza but they need to resolve the soggy crust issue. read more

Ambiance was nice although it was very cold in there. Thankful I brought a sweater. Buffalo pizza was good but the onions ruined it. Chicken parm was good as well not a fan of the sauce but it was a huge meal ate 1/4 of it and took the rest home. The woman waiting on us was fantastic super friendly the staff at the front was not very friendly no emotion to their face and when we walked in kind of just looked at us confused. This is the third time I've had Anzio's food. First time was at the food truck. Their pizza is very different than pizza in this area. The dough, sauce and ingredients are all great. Very close to the pizza I ate in Italy. The pasta dishes will not disappoint. The Chicken Romano uses to be a special, but now it's on the everyday menu. For great reason! The tomato cream sauce goes very well with the freshly breaded chicken, mozzarella and pasta. The calamari is hand breaded and very fresh. Tried to go here for dinner and was met with this lovely sign on the door that they were closed even though their website said they were open. Why even have a website if you are not going to update it when you close the restaurant? I was already questioning my decision to go there as the food is over-priced and very mediocre. True Score: 2.25 Stars Sad, expected so much more and got none of it. I am not sure how this went wrong as the reviews are very good. We only got take out due to the Corona outbreak, and maybe this was the problem. Our pizza was doughy, undercooked, with no favor sauce and cheese. If it wasn't for the cupped quality pepperoni, this may have been one of the worst pizzas we've gotten in a long time. I have nothing vested in this review but this pizza really reminded me of box store brands like Papa Johns or Dominos. So just to put this in perspective, we drove 50 miles each way to try this pizza so there is no reason why we would want it to be bad. It just was. Went to Anzio's Sunday to celebrate a friend's birthday. We went at 5:00 so they were pretty much empty. Waitress brought our drinks and said I'll be right back. Right back meant almost a half hour. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other. Asked her to turn it down. Said she couldn't as only the owner had the key. Of course, he wasn't there. My wife ordered the lasagna which was burnt and greasy. The lava cake on the Valentines menu was so small it wasn't enough for one let alone two. Not sure what happened since they moved from Grafton but we won't be going back anytime soon. read more

Anzio's a turn for the worst. We frequently visited Anzio's in the past. The service started going downhill so we stopped for a while. We decided to give it another try as the food used to be good. This was such a disappointment as not only was the service horrendous, my food was not eatable. The place was empty! It took a half hour to get a drink and another 1/2 hour to order. I had the lasagna. It was extremely greasy and burnt at the bottom. I could not eat it. I could not get the waitresses attention to tell her about the issues. When she finally made her way back to the table we just asked for the check as we went to dinner at 5:00 and it was already 8:00. I truly understand why the place was empty. In all fairness two of the four liked their dinner, however, the lack of service put a damper on the meal. I hope the owner gets the restaurant back to where it used to be. Anzio's was one of the first restaurants we visited in the area when we moved here, and continues to be one of our favorites. They make excellent pizza (crispy, tasty, special combos, high-quality ingredients) and their other items and drinks are all very good as well. The service has been top-notch. Last time we ordered a large pizza and for some reason it developed a small bare spot when cooking so they included an entire second small pizza to make up for it without us even asking. The entire team always seems very positive and dedicated to doing a good job. Covid has obviously impacted the industry heavily and they have stayed solid throughout. Kudos to all. read more
