This is the third time I've had Anzio's food. First time was at the food truck. Their pizza is very different than pizza in this area. The dough, sauce and ingredients are all great. Very close to the pizza I ate in Italy. The pasta dishes will not disappoint. The Chicken Romano uses to be a special, but now it's on the everyday menu. For great reason! The tomato cream sauce goes very well with the freshly breaded chicken, mozzarella and pasta. The calamari is hand breaded and very fresh. I like that they combine two styles with the marinara and pepper rings.

Came in for a quick bite and fell In love. The food was amazing, service was attentive and prompt and the ambiance was very casual. Sports fans 5 enjoy a drink and quick bite at the bar or family gathering in the dinning area. Definitely coming back

Tried to go here for dinner and was met with this lovely sign on the door that they were closed even though their website said they were open. Why even have a website if you are not going to update it when you close the restaurant? I was already questioning my decision to go there as the food is over-priced and very mediocre. This was just the icing on the cake.

Sadly, terrible raw pizza. On the scale with Domino's

True Score: 2.25 Stars Sad, expected so much more and got none of it. I am not sure how this went wrong as the reviews are very good. We only got take out due to the Corona outbreak, and maybe this was the problem. Our pizza was doughy, undercooked, with no favor sauce and cheese. If it wasn't for the cupped quality pepperoni, this may have been one of the worst pizzas we've gotten in a long time. I have nothing vested in this review but this pizza really reminded me of box store brands like Papa Johns or Dominos. So just to put this in perspective, we drove 50 miles each way to try this pizza so there is no reason why we would want it to be bad. It just was. Let's not add in with tip the picture I posted cost over 25 dollars. Thanks

A special with their homemade pasta, prosciutto, spinach and chicken. Delish!!

Service and pizza was great. Would definitely recommend. The bar area was open and had a good vibe.

Consistently good. Both delivery and eating in make this a go-to for brick oven pizza.

The service, pizza and kids chicken tenders are great although can't say the same for the chicken romano and veal parm.

This our go to spot for a nice pizza dinner. They have a lovely patio where we always seem to be able to get quick seating.

The star of the show is the sandwich selection, all on a choice of focaccia or seeded roll, with many including stracciatella, a thick, white, creamy, Buratta-like cheese. Almost every item in the store-- from meats to cheeses to drinks to candies and snacks-- is imported from Italy and you can taste the difference. This ain't your daddy's Boar's Head. -- Tutto: Tried on focaccia, with Mortadella, Soppressata, Capicola, Prosciutto, Provolone, Stracciatella Cheese, Tomatoes, Onions, Pickles, Hot Cherry Peppers, and Garden Greens. Very creamy cheese, almost mayoey in texture. It took some adjustment on my first try, but I got used to it quickly. Strong flavors overall. Very enjoyable. -- Matto: Tried (on two different visits) on a grilled seeded roll, this packed Prosciutto, Soppressata, Sharp Provolone, and Hot Cherry Peppers. Bold flavors from the coldcuts, sharp cheese, and perfectly toasted bread, all in the right proportions to enjoy every flavor and texture. This was spectacular and will be a repeat sandwich for many visits to come. Excellent sandwiches. Nice people. Easy ordering via Toast (they don't have a website). Limited hours-- weekday lunches only-- and hard to spot, but in the same parking lot as the convenience store. I'm not an authority on Italian sandwiches but I've had my fair share from the "name" places in and around Boston, and this unknown gem from the outer suburbs ranks right up there with them. Some may argue they charge Boston prices, but for Boston quality without the Boston hassle, well worth it. Solidly in my lunch rotation.
