I am writing this hoping to help someone. I have suffered for decades with noise in my right ear due to an ear infection. Doctors told me that the right ear would not affect my left ear. Well, as you can imagine I took great care of my left ear. Never had an infection. If I felt congested, I would go and check, making sure there was no infection. One morning I woke up and there was an airplane in my left ear!! I was horrified!!! That is what it sounded like to me. No ear infection, nothing was wrong with my ear, just this load roaring like an airplane. Doctors said they could do nothing about the noise. I asked my Chiropractor if he could suggest anything to get rid of the noise in my ear. He suggested Acupuncture!! That is when I found my miracle! Cindy Antoun, Licensed Acupuncturist. Cindy is also an experienced physical therapist. She also worked on my SCM muscle in my neck. The difference in the noise in my left ear is like night and day!! My doctor referred me for acupuncture and I found Cindy through American Specialty Health (ASH) and I 100% know that Cindy has my best interest and budget in mind. I was referred for fibromyalgia, and as a last treatment attempt for severe tennis elbow before surgery. Since seeing Cindy, my tennis elbow no longer needs surgery and I'm able to return to almost all of my normal activities. She has also helped me with my frequent, debilitating migraines (the longest one lasting 12 days). Since seeing her, I can't even tell you the last time I had one or had to take migraine medication. Also, I hate needles, and Cindy is so understanding in working with me with this and makes me feel comfortable. I'm confident in what she does, which keeps me coming back and has allowed my conditions to get better. Cindy puts the care in health care! She is very knowledgeable. She told me honestly what would work for me. More than acupuncture I needed an adjustment because I had a structural issue not muscular. Many chiropractors are lazy and will not do an adjustment. She encouraged me to look for one that does their job right. After two years of physical therapy and one year of acupuncture, I found relief with a bulging disc issue by seeing a chiro for a month. Thank you for being honest Cindy. I've been considering Acupuncture for about a year now. I have recurring tennis elbow pain in one arm and partial elbow replacement in the other. Both cause me regular pain and issue. After my first 2 or 3 treatments my tennis elbow pain has really decreased. With traditional therapy it would take 6 to 8 treatments to start working. By the 5th treatment with Cindy I was able to stop wearing my counter force elbow strap I got from my doctor. My other elbow is a different story. I've had a major injury to it and a surgery to replace half of my elbow. Since the surgery over two years ago I've had serious weather related pains. Also debilitating at times. Since seeing Cindy these pains have significantly been reduced. During recent poor weather conditions I found that I didn't need to take pain pills like I normally would. Since starting with Cindy, I've been very happy. I've asked Cindy to start helping me with a new problem with my foot and I'm looking forward to continuing my treatment. Cindy is a miracle worker. I walked in her office three weeks ago and couldn't raise my arm higher than my waist. Now I can raise my arm all the way up like my other arm. Also her treatment has taken away the horrible pain that I was in when I first walked in her office. My first clue this was no joke, was when my buddy and I went to Cindy Antoun (referred by friends) to get his recently strained low back "fixed"... He walked in like a question mark with legs, and came out standing straight as an arrow an hour later!!! I had been with him all day, so I knew it was no hoax. Seeing this, I immediately signed in, and asked her to work on my (+/- 8 weeks) postoperative shoulder. An hour later, and it was the best I had felt since well before my surgery! Not perfect, but MUCH less pain, and improved range of motion. I've been treated several times now (neck and shoulder), and can honestly say THIS WORKS. I was not convinced coming into the program, but now I'm a believer. My range of motion is MUCH better and my pain is MUCH less. Physical therapy elsewhere has yielded limited results in comparison... used together, I am hoping to cut my rehab time in half. read more
