Upon arrival, she was great in building rapport and addressing the areas in which I'd like to focus in on the session. The atmosphere was very calm and soothing: dim lights, earthy aroma, and an individualized private space. Her technique is truly unique. She has a lot of strength and really worked through most of my knots. I asked her to build upon pressure as I wasn't quite ready for the full effect! She explained to me the ways in which she was targeting certain muscle groups and made me feel very comfortable throughout the way. Rather than focusing on the entire body, her goal is to soothe target areas to essentially create harmony within the body. For a private space, parking lot, and hospitality, a session a little under an hour and a half runs for a very reasonable price. I'd highly advise making an appointment prior to stopping by as she is pretty booked up. I would definitely recommend her for your massage therapy needs.

This is the reason why I don't usually come to massage parlors because they harass you for a tip instead of increasing their prices. You are not supposed to hustle someone for a tip because a tip is courtesy. Please understand proper etiquette. You got paid , Geeze! It's best to just stick to spas. They're more professional.

And I didn't believe that for a second. To look someone in the face and tell them a 20% tip is not enough, is extremely disappointing and pretty darn rude. I will never go back there. Thought I would, until that happened. I felt pressed and pressured... Stuck to my 20% tip. But short of grabbing my credit card out of her hand and walking out the door... I felt my karma would be better served if I paid the tip and never returned. Do not go to this place. They don't know how to do business, they don't appreciate appropriate gratuity And shame on them for having such a greedy attitude. This place legit should be shut down!! Basically the masseuse put some oil on my back for a little while rub that around... And then she massage my feet. She massaged my arms down to my elbows, she did not Massage, my four arms or hands. My legs did not receive any treatment. I'm talking about my whole leg! From my hip down to my ankle... Absolutely no massaging. Which is crazy because I literally said legs and feet are the most important. On top of that this is one of those places that charges you twice, once in the beginning when you go in and then they're going to try to charge you again at the end if you want to leave a tip. Wait till you see their transaction fee! Needless to say, I did not leave a tip. I have nieces under the age of 10 that could've done a more thorough job than that. I've never felt more ripped off after a massage in my life!

While we were there, we overheard the front desk staff telling the therapists, "these customers used coupons and are also complaining." We found this very unprofessional and disrespectful. Using a coupon should not affect the quality of service provided. Overall, the experience did not feel welcoming or professional, and we left very dissatisfied

Hello my name is Shawn; I discovered the Golden Harmony acupuncture place about two months ago. I originally came in for a massage for shoulder pain due to repetitive injury. I have tried chiropractors, orthopedics, and pain medication on and off for several months, but was looking for an alternative medicine to help alleviate the excruciating pain and numbness. My source of pain seems to move around from shoulder, to lower back, to the hip area, and the massage that I received was one of the best as she was able to listen to my concerns and issues, and apply direct and accurate pressure where I need it most. She was professional, courteous, and above all precise in tracking down the areas of where the pain was radiating. I have been to several places for massages and you really feel the difference at Golden Harmony when you are finished. Albina the owner and acupuncturist of Golden Harmony was extremely professional and especially knowledgeable in the area acupuncture. She alleviated any hesitation I had about trying this process. She counseled me on how long it would take, what it would feel like, how it works, and how I would feel after. I have no doubt that I will be a lifelong patient and believer of this type of medicine thanks to Albina and her efforts. read more

I've heard so many anecdotal stories about acupuncture that I decided to give it a try myself. I came to Dr. Albina with a really stiff neck and shoulders and sharp pain radiating from the head to the lower back. She's assessed my condition and then proceeded with the treatment. I had cupping, needles and the RRT machine (I loved this mashie by the way!!!!). And all I have to say is WOW! It was nice a comfortable during all the procedures and after the procedure my range of motion for the neck improved right away and the pain have subsided considerably! It was awesome! 3 days later I feel even better, now I just have to keep up my spine straight and watch my posture while working on the computer. If anybody is interested - I'm such a scardy cat for needles of any kind - and I was pleased to find out that acupuncture needles are totally painless - it was such a relieve for me! Exceptional, simply exceptional. As soon as I walked in, Albina (acupuncturist and owner) greeted me with a warm welcome and gave me a tour of the office. It has such a warm and inviting feel. I loved the atmosphere. While Vanessa (the massage therapist) set the room, Albina asked about my problem areas and began to work me over with a massager that immediately loosened up my neck. Vanessa was great. 1. she is very friendly yet professional. 2. I chose to go with the hot stone massage, best massage I've ever received. Again she worked over my problem areas and smoothed out the many many knots i had but also worked me over completely. When she said, "the hour was over", I was unsure whether or not I had fallen asleep. Again so good and relaxing. On my way out, again I was greeted by Albina and Vanessa. They are seriously nice. I started having severe neck pain from sitting at my desk and working several months ago. I tried everything. I even bought a monitor stand to improve my posture but I just ended up slouching and straining my neck anyways. I guess old habits are hard to break. I heard about Golden Harmony Acupuncture and Wellness through a friend of mine. She goes to Albina. I must admit I was skeptical. I had never tried acupuncture before and didn't understand how it worked. But, my friend gave her such a great recommendation that I thought, why not? Well, let me tell you! I'm so glad that I went! After even the first session I noticed a difference. The stubborn pain and stiffness had somehow melted away. I now go regularly and I don't know how it works, but it does! It is really amazing to me. Albina is also such a good, caring practitioner. So, it's pleasant to get a treatment from her. That really helps. So, I say yes! I went and see Albina at Golden Harmony due to the fact that I have a frozen shoulder and 3 months of escalating pain: on my right shoulder, arm, and also neck. I was in constant pain 8/9 level, I couldn't sleep at night, the medicine given to me did not work, and even the physical therapy was not effective because I was in too much pain. I signed up for 3 visits. After the 1st my neck was without pain. After the 2nd visit I slept through the night for the first tine in 3 months, and after the 3rd visit I was with minimum pain 2/3 level for two days. It is a shame that my insurance did not want to cover the treatment. However, I am planning to spend my tax refund at the Golden Harmony. I can tell that not only the acupuncture has been beneficial to minimize the pain the electric stimulation given to me has also improved my overall well being. Ms Albina is well trained! read more

Having been in severe back and arm pain and fatigue for many years diagnosed with "Fibromyalgia" I had the most wonderful experience at Golden Harmony. After my very first visit I woke up for the first time in years without pain the very next morning. I also had energy and after several treatments I changed my lifestyle completely. I stopped taking medication, started exercising and was able to continue in my working career. I continue to go periodically to maintain the good feelings I experienced through these acupuncture treatments. It is wonderful to have a holistic approach to body pain. My right arm has been giving me much pain recently because of the character of my work (cake decorator). I would try massaging, rubbing it, tried different ointments and pills but the pain wouldn't go away(. This place gave me so much relief!!!!! I have never tried acupuncture before, but after the first procedure, I felt so much better, much of my numbness and pain vanished from my arm! Purchased vouchers through Living Social. My first visit to Golden Harmony was yesterday for a massage with Vanessa. Everyone I met there was professional and caring. My stress level dropped as soon as I entered the massage room - lovely restful environment. Vanessa is really very good & smoothly adjusted pressure when she hit an injured area. When the music (I forgot to get the CD info) and time ran out, I'd love to have just stayed there, I was sooo relaxed. I'll be back for more! Info on Yelp page says they validate parking. I hurt my shoulder repetitively by doing exercise on parallel bars, playing racket ball, ping-pong, throwing boomerang and Frisbees thru several months, until... something snapped in my shoulder. Horrendous pain! Unbelievable pain! I went to Dr. Albina's Acupuncture office and in 2 sessions my pain went from 8.5/10 to 3/10. It was almost a religious experience. I took 10 procedures. Surprised that in addition to acupuncture, also includes massage. After the first procedure, I was as drunk and had to rest in the car for a while. The general condition of the body is excellent. Gone spasms of muscles, there was lightness in the legs. I knew about the effect of acupuncture, but the results surpassed the expected. I recommend! I decided to give Golden Harmony a try because they had a groupon massage special. I was favorably impressed. They are located in an office building which is a bit sterile but the rooms were clean and the owner, certified acupuncturist, Albina Tong, was very sweet. My massage therapist, Eddie, was professional and very responsive to the amount of pressure that I was comfortable with. If you ever had any doubts about acupuncture Albina will wipe them away. I suffered with sciatica and lower back pain off and on for years. I couldn't walk far or sit for very long and sleep was out of the question. After the first visit I started to feel relief. The first time Albina treated me, my left ankle was swollen up like a balloon and I could barely walk. 45 minutes after the treatment, the ankle was normal size, and I was able to walk around normally. Great place! Very clean and welcoming. Albina was very professional and very helpful. She takes her time to explain everything and makes sure you are out of there with no more pain. Before my visit, I called to confirm the price, and they told me the first session would cost $75, and the following ones would be $65. However, when I arrived, I was told there was a "misunderstanding," and the actual price was $190 for the first session and $160 for the following ones. In the end, they offered me a "discount," so I agreed to pay $130 for the first session and $110 for the next ones. I initially thought it was just a misunderstanding. But after my fourth visit, I suddenly received an email informing me that my next session would cost $120. No one had warned me about the price increase beforehand--they just informed me after the fact! When I asked why I wasn't notified in advance, they simply told me the next session would now be $125. I want to emphasize that Dr. Denis is very kind and attentive, and I truly appreciate his care. That's why it's especially disappointing that the clinic operates this way and treats its clients like this. I feel really sorry about the situation. This is the second time they have changed their pricing without proper communication. I'm shocked by this approach to customer service. Be careful before booking an appointment here!

I was nothing but so nice to her because I thought she was a genuine friend (and I didn't have many at the time), but behind my back she just looked at me through judgmental, racist glasses. I brought all of this to Dr. Toni's attention and sent her screenshots of Luisa's personal messages to me along with her public Instagram post about me. Dr. Toni first just ignored what happened all together. Then she tried to laugh it off. Then she told me I can just come in when "Luisa isn't working." I ended all contact after that. I was not about to give my money to a business who bullies their clients online and allows that bullier to continue to work for them. It makes me sad because this place was a safe haven to me for years. I spent thousands of dollars there, all for them to just be judging me behind my back the entire time, and when I thought they genuinely cared for our relationship. If you can, find somewhere else who genuinely appreciates and cares for their clients and doesn't berate them on social media.

I went for at least 6 weeks for treatment and I had to finally draw the line after the 2nd time I was electrocuted bad enough that my entire leg flew up in the air and dropped like a rock back on the table when he cut the power! Dr Spiros Cavelaris deserves 10 STARS!…read more I have had floating rib pain for 30 years and have been to over 15 chiropractors over those 30 years. Dr. Spiros is the ONLY Dr. that has been able to mitigate this pain and make my life livable! Sadly I recently moved to Greenville SC and my rib pain came back and would not go away! I scheduled an appointment and left feeling optimistic but I wasn't sure if the treatment was going to help. He didn't just treat my jaw. He worked on my entire body's alignment and we discussed ways in which the body holds on to pain (both physical and emotional). I knew through my colleague what to expect, and she told me to be patient with the process and wait a little while to see results. After two weeks, the pain in my jaw started to subside and at almost a month later, I can say that there has been incredible improvement! I'm not cured, but I didn't expect to be. The pain has decreased substantially and I can finally get back to enjoying my life! I may go back in a month or so if the pain begins to worsen again but I am so thankful for this treatment.
