Cody, the owner was great. He showed up on short notice to give me an estimate, he even spoke some numbers on the phone prior to coming out which made me feel like he knew what he was doing. -He came the night before our big power disconnect and did some pre inspection and made certain he had a complete game plan. He called before showing up which was nice. He was able to do basic explanations for me, since electrical is not one of my trades. -He called and asked if he could show up early on the day of the job, 630ish rather than 700 so he could make certain he was here prior to Rocky Mtn Power. That again gave me confidence he was going to get the job done and i would have power when i got home. It was also nice that he called rather than showing up early and upsetting my wife when the dogs barked and woke her up. -He did a few extras for me which were not included in the bid, nothing major but things that saved me time and made my life easier. -He handled calling sandy city and setting up the inspection, and about 15 minutes after returning from work i had power and all was done. Easy to work with, trustworthy, did great work and understood what i wanted. Listened to my concerns and took them in to consideration when making decisions. Went the extra mile, cleaned up his mess, inspected old wiring and found answers before just blazing ahead. Had no fear of having him in my home while i was gone, very impressed with service all around. Put bolts in mortar and not in my bricks like i asked, went the extra mile. Only two small negatives. 1. where the power mast went up threw the soffit, the hole he put in was a bit bigger than the mast and didn't get any kind of cosmetic finish. Not a huge deal, will just be a 10 minute project for me (after driving to Lowe's and back). Just a little eye sore especially compared to his highly clean work. 2. Again, a small one, even though he was very easy to get ahold of i would have enjoyed even just a text the week before the project to let me know I was still on the go list. Just makes things less stressful. Honesty-10/10 Trustworthy-10/10 Cleanliness of work. 10/10 Work done right, clean, precise - 9/10 (due to hole in soffit) Available, response to calls, contact- 9/10. -He didn't ask me do do a review, or any sales pitches. I felt that the bid was a fair price, and Cody made suggestions regarding ways to reduce the cost of the bid. We scheduled the work, and made some adjustments to the scope of the work at my initiative on the day that Cody arrived to do the work. Cody happily accommodated the changes that I requested. We had Cody install an audio system and a home theater system for us. He had to place ceiling speakers in precise locations, and he did a great job. He also ran speaker, home audio, and internet wiring throughout our house, and he did this with minimal impacts. In addition, he installed bathroom vents in two bathrooms, brought our fire alarms up to code, installed a dimmer switch, and also installed a whole-house surge protector. He also organized and labeled our communications wiring, and installed our modem in the communication panel, thus making our wireless connection better. With several of the projects, he had suggestions which simplified things and saved us money in the long run. Cody is smart and polite, and was a pleasure to work with. We gave him a key to our house and had no issues. He worked very hard for us, communicated well, and completed the job in a timely manner for a reasonable price.
