I had an amazing experience with EZ Electric. I requested a bid on a Saturday to have them install a Tesla charging station in my garage. They responded almost immediately with a very reasonable initial quote and scheduled a time to visit my home for a more formal bid and install service the following Wednesday. We had them replace our old breaker box, add a few outlets, and fix a few outlets that were having problems. For the most part they were professional and did a great job. But when they were finished they were in a big hurry to leave. The hole they cut for our new breaker box was too large. We have an unsafe (and I'm sure not up to code) hole with wiring exposed above our new breaker box. The company asked for us to give them feedback the day after our service. We sent them an email explaining why we shouldn't have to pay the full amount but have had no response after several days. We would have expected better followup. Now we have to either spend the time to fix this ourselves or have someone fix it for an additional expense. Sure hope they respond at some point, but so far it doesn't seem likely. read more

I started out using EZ Electric when I had bought a hot tub and from there had them do a garage and then had some work at some apartments I have. With the jobs they had done I probably spent over $40k all together with them and still had more jobs coming up to give them more work. At first the quality on my first two jobs were great but all the rest were done quickly with low quality just to get them done. I had them change 5 panels and because they didn't want to cut into the wall to put the panel in correctly and flush with the wall they built a box outside of where the connection came into the house. They asked if that would be ok and I said that was as long as it wouldn't be an issue later. Well later it was an issue when I needed to have a couple outlets and a switch for a closet light added to 4 apartments and where they say on their website "You will receive your quote upfront, and this quote will not change. You won't be in for any unpleasant surprises once we complete your electrical work". It's not true and they did not hold up to their quote because of how they put the new panel in. They did one but there was 3 others to do but because there was another panel done like the one they completed and the tenant in another did not clean out the space for the work to be done very well (but could have easy enough while doing the other 2 first) and the third was an empty apartment where they just did a full wire they left to do another job instead of getting mine complete and then wanted to charge me more then what they quoted to come back and finish the job. While doing the panels they left a wire undone and fried a TV and DVD player in a tenants apartment and I called about the issue and it wasn't until the next day and not first in the morning but mid day to fix the issue they did by not doing quality work and did nothing to fix what they ruined or even compensate the tenant for their loss. It also says on their quotes they warranty 5 years on the work they do in your home but I sent an email asking about my 220V outlet and I have not heard a word just crickets. EZ Electric as a company has gone down in quality, honesty, and above all respect to the customer. That the job they are doing and you are paying for is going to be done correct and of good quality! I guess we will see if anything will be done by this review or the complaint to the BBB so I can get fixed what wasn't supposed to be done in the first place. Really wished that they wanted to have return customers and to be proud of the work they do but I guess that doesn't matter to them anymore. I had them come out a few years ago and Clayton was great. I needed them last year and they sent me someone else who did not know what they were doing and banged up the wall which needed to be repainted and his wok had to be redone. I needed them for a potential electrical hazard this past week with sparks coming out of a wall device. They text me for a reminder and said that Clayton was coming. When they were on their way Rosie said that the other guy was on his way. A bait and Switch. Rosie canceled the other guy but will not call me back even after several attempts leaving messages, I took a photo of the reminder text showing claytons name and sent it to Rosie.
