I'll start by saying they have valet parking when you come to this hospital for regular visit or for ER visit I had to go to the ER Thought I was having a heart attack or stroke. They got me immediately back ran a ton of test for two days kept me for observation overnight. It was a complete team approach and I was very very very impressed. The other time that I was at this hospital was recently when my friends daughter gave birth. The entire process the entire team did a fantastic job. Communication was amazing. Their procedures and policies were very modern and up-to-date. After the birth and in the room, the baby never left the room or the mother side or should I say site they had a lot of educational resources and made sure that the Mom understood many things about being a mother what to do in the early days, taking care of a baby. There was a lot of education a lot of communication and a real desire to help the mom take care of the baby the way, the mom wanted to have things done. They were very respectful and very attentive. I could go on and on and on, but after having experience in other hospitals, I can't say this is absolutely the best hospital I've ever been in a reserved service from.

I asked the front desk lady multiple times when they would have a room ready and telling her I was in severe pain. She told me they were cleaning a bed right now, I proceeded to wait another 30 minutes, for a total of almost 2 hours, I decided to go to a different emergency room because clearly they don't have time for me. If you have a real emergency please please please do not make the same mistake I did, and go somewhere else!

What I didn't care for, lack of personnel in front and the check is 100% automated. You have questions, sucks to be you. Want to schedule something. Sucks to be you. There was also no hand sanitizer, at least that I saw. You gonna make me touch stuff that sick people might have touched, help me stay healthy.

I have been to this clinic several times now. The first time was almost 3 years ago, after going…read morethrough three miscarriages and I was dealing with deep grief and depression, but I was pregnant. They listened to me and prayed for me. At the same time, I did not have a doctor because my dr was no longer taking my insurance, I had lost my job, was trying to start a business, and I had to wait for a new insurance to find a provider. I wasn't sure which provider would take me, but it was incredibly relieving to have the ultrasound done in that time of uncertainty - especially given my miscarriage history. I had so much relief knowing my baby was healthy and along with the prayer and listening ears it helped me grieve the three losses, as well. And participating in the Earn While You Learn program was very helpful, and it was nice to get some diapers and cute baby items from it. Not only that, but when I did find a new provider, it was found that the first trimester ultrasound SMPC provided was more accurate than the one my previous dr had performed. (My previous dr who was/is with a group through SMH - very notable - had performed the 8 week ultrasound and had measured across baby's chest rather than from head to rump. My Prev dr had set my due date almost 3 weeks off.) The 11 week ultrasound I had with SMPC was almost to the day. Then for my last pregnancy, the first thing I did when I found out I was pregnant, I went to SMPC to confirm my pregnancy and to schedule an ultrasound, and through them I found my latest provider, and it was such a smoother process that time. And to mention, all of it was FREE. Very thankful for SMPC!

Today, I went for post op XRays that were SCHEDULED somewhere else by my surgeon's office. I left…read moreafter waiting 90 minutes. This, plus rescheduling the doctor's appt and getting another XRay provider, cost me 3 hours more time than I planned. I took the orders to Partner's Imaging because of how they treated me, their quality of testing, and timeliness of getting results over the years. After arriving as a walk-in, I had the XRay disc in hand and on my way home in LESS than an hour. Barbara and Judy treated every person at reception as if they were the only patient there. They teamed up to help coordinate procedures and address payment issues tactfully and confidentially. The RT Mikaylie (unsure of spelling) was kind, professional and efficient. As a retired health professional, I appreciate how difficult it is to juggle the various front desk and scheduling tasks for patients worried about their test results as well as costs. Staff in this facility could teach many others in Sarasota a thing or two about customer relations and proper business operations.
