I couldn't be there after nine am to drop the vehicle off, but he has a drop box option where you can park the car and drop off the keys. He was very communicative throughout the process and spent all day working on my car. It wasn't ready until 3 p.m., and it was evident that they had worked hard to clean it. The smell and dog hairs are gone. He even recommended that we change a filter he suspected was full of dog hair. He even showed me how to access the filter and where I could purchase it. I was going through a stack of cards one day, found his, pondered for a few minutes as to how I had his card or if I even met the dude, realized that my car looked like crap and decided to give this dude a ring. I'm sure I could have easily found someone else by asking friends but his biz card was in my hand so I made the phone call. It wasn't even a good phone call. It was something along the lines of I have your biz card in hand, I have no idea who you are, by the way I'm going out of town next week so if you even remember who I am in a week and my half ass tone made you think I was serious about having you come clean my car be sure to call me if you want. I even hung up the phone thinking that I wasted his time. After I got back in town I left Shaun a message to let him know I actually was serious about doing business. Yesterday, he called me back and today he came to my office. If you make my life convenient, you'll get my business. This guy sure did. I drive by a car wash place every Thursday morning but since I actually have to stop what I'm doing just to see if I can fit into their schedule I put off the detail. Anyway, Shaun rolls into my office. We start to take all the junk out of my car. He, in the most respectful way, acknowledges how busy I am and how many things I carry around at all times. In other words, he knew my car looked my sh*t yet gave me confidence that I was going to have something looking new. Sure enough, this dude came through. He started at 2pm. At 3pm he was still getting all the dog hair out of the car. At 4pm he was cleaning all the carpets and wiping down dirt in the leather. At 5pm he was steaming and wiping down all the cracks in the car and shining the interior. It was until 5:30 or so that he finally got to washing my car. This dude was hustling to ensure my car was immaculate. He explained to me the extra cost of getting things clean at first and then discussed ongoing maintenance each month. I liked that he explained why vehicles rust and things he can do each month to maintain a like new look. Yes, this is more than anyone expects to pay for a car wash. He charged me $120 for my Acura RDX. He was at my office for four hours!!! I actually left him in my parking lot all alone, wrote him a check and told him to go ahead and just lock the baby up. By the time I left I knew he had put in more effort than anyone has ever put in ever in the history of detailing vehicles. Even before he was done I had wrote out the check for a much larger amount for all his hard work that he seamlessly made look like it was routine. My car is so clean that it would be sin to even let a piece of grass inside. Heck, my dogs may never be allowed inside again. I trust that you will not be disappointed in his work. Once I walked in, a staff member immediately stood up and asked how to help. I explained to him that I was looking to gift someone something to help take care of their brand new car. Didn't need to be extravagant or pricey because he's a teenager but that I would like just something basic to keep him motivated in keeping his car spic and span. He showed me that they sold a kit for $100 that contained just about everything one would be to wash and clean their car -- alls you had to do was add water! I said that was a great deal and an easy go-to however it was well beyond the $20 budget. I know the gift recipient and his mother very well so I was willing to extend the budget but not by that much! LoL! This young staff member did not give me his name nor did I see a name tag but he was great! He stayed with me the whole time and gave me the needed space and time to look at everything, answered any and all questions I had, and gave me his personal recommendations. He explained how their shelving system worked and asked questions to get to know the person I was buying for. I can tell he was a people person and knew how to do his job. In the end, I settled on a 3-in-1 cleaning mitt (his recommendation, of course!), a small car freshener spray that was actually their signature scent (used to be called Stripper Scent but had changed to something more appropriate like the Smell of Success or something like that - lol!!), and a gift card. I left pretty confident and happy with my purchase and overall experience. I casually mentioned to the staff that I was the sister of the aforementioned mobile detailing owner and he was enthusiastic and asked if I'd like to put my purchase towards the rewards account thingy under my brother's name so I said Sure, why not? I'm not in here at all plus, this was my first visit anyhow... But I assure you it won't be my last!! Loved my experience and I recommend!

This Car Spa is located at the corner of Holland Rd. and Lynnhaven Pkwy. They are quite visible…read morefrom both roads at that intersection, so it would be very hard to miss. My visit here was on February 14, 2026. I hadn't had my car washed in a while, so I went online to look for offers of having the car washed. After looking at the online options, I decided to go with Car Spa, as there was a 3-month special for exterior washes, specifically for the Diamond Wash level. When I got there, I went inside first as I figured I'd have to redeem the online offer first, which was the case. I found out that having an unlimited wash club comes with a 20% discount for detailing and oil change services too. Given that, I decided to go with the Interior Super Clean and Carpet Deep Cleanse. There was another sale going on that weekend, so it ended up being 25% lower even after the 20% unlimited wash club discount. For the unlimited wash club, there is a barcode on the front windshield that is used at the exterior wash entrance. It was a pretty busy day there, but we had several snowstorms recent to that, so that's why I wanted to get the car washed in the first place. The detailing portion of it was a bonus to me as it was something that needed to be done. I had figured that it would take an hour or so to have everything completed. Unfortunately, it was closer to three hours. The significant delay is a big factor as to why I couldn't go all the way to five stars. During that time, I had seen other cars that came in for a wash and detailing after I came in and they were done before mine. It was hard to find someone to ask about what was going on, as they were all out with the various cars out there. I was finally able to find the one I had talked to when I first purchased the detailing and asked about the timing. He noticed and admitted that my car got missed somehow. Once everything was done though, my car battery was dead because the door was left open to note that the car is there for detailing. If it had been done in order, I don't think that would have been an issue in the first place. Overall, this was a good visit, except for the issues noted above. The car was beyond clean on both the inside and outside after that. I would still consider coming here for your car needs. Hopefully this one experience I had was a one-off type of thing.
