There is parking in the streets to the side of this place but it is on a busy main road. Inside its full of knick knacks. I'm more of a vintage clothing shopper but this was a fun place to look around. Some highlights were star wars toys, a wall of records, weird pipes, lots of artwork, and a coco cola collection. This shop is a good mix of well-lit vendor booths filled with antique, vintage and reproduction items. They sell a decent variety of paint and hardware if you're looking to up-cycle your projects. For all you do-it-yourselfers out there, we saw a really nice selection of tin ceiling tiles and barnboard available! I always feel nostalgic looking through the vintage stuff from the '70s. Both of us spotting different items and laughing, "hey, do you remember this?" There were several booths that had "sale" signs up offering 10-20% off of all items in that booth. Keep your eye out for great deals. Hubby scored a working toy machine gun (with original box) for 20% off! The lady I spoke with (the owner?) was chatty and very nice. This store obviously had a lot of regular & loyal customers as she seemed very familiar with a number of patrons in the store. I love antiques and interesting things, so we just had to make a trip to see for ourselves. As soon as we walked into the store, I was floored. I just stood and stared, coming just short of jumping up and down and clapping my hands like a kid in a candy store! I knew instantly, this was my kind of place. We were warmly greeted by the owner Alex, chatted for a bit about the business and some of the interesting items he had. We set off to wander around and we were both impressed with the sheer volume and quality of items in the shop. We also noted that the prices were reflected in the caliber of the pieces. On that note, Alex was more than willing to haggle on the prices. They had everything from collections (the Simpsons stuff was wicked cool) to pinball games, toys, oil & gas items/advertising, tins, signs, neon, bicycles, and there's even a Zoltar machine!!! It's filled with beautiful old, romantic farmhouse furniture, some of which has been fixed up by Helen and her husband. There are stained-glass windows, wardrobes, dressers, rocking chairs, dolls, cashmere sweaters, sheep hair pillows, and much more to discover. I'm not much of an antique shopper, so I'm not sure how the prices compare to other places. Some of the smaller items seemed quite affordable and a giant wooden table was about $2,500. I brought along some jewellery that Beck's correctly identified and I ended up selling the entire lot for a price I was happy with, including some costume jewellery that I thought was worthless but I got something for it. I'll definitely go back.
