This company sells products that won't last more than six months. Even more concerning, the company…read moredoesn't care once you call them out on their crappy design flaws of their products. Voxx Acessories sells Project Nursery products. Project Nursery is a company that sells baby and children's items. My wife and I were expecting our first child, and we were excited. We knew that one of the most important things to have on hand was a reliable baby monitor. After careful research, we decided to invest in a Project Nursery Video Baby Monitor System for $299.99. It was a bit pricey given that there was no wi-fi or smart phone capabilities. Our main reason for buying this was that it wasn't battery operated and instead was charged via USB. It wasn't attractive looking and it was very bulky. The Project Nursery website was informative and we learned about the company and their founders. We felt comfortable supporting this company. We regret this decision and wish we never gave them any of our money. Given that a newborn baby needs to be closely watched and monitored at night, we used the baby monitor DAILY. It's a reasonable expectation that Project Nursery and Voxx Accessories knew and eventually exploited. Within six months of daily use, the baby monitor display stopped charging. It was an old school and outdated micro-USB charging port that was used to charge the baby monitor. This was 2016 and we paid $299, so one would think the charging port would have been more durable, given that the company should have known it would be used daily. Before reaching out to the company, I did some research and I realized it was a common occurrence based on other users. There were many complaints of this issue on forums, Amazon reviews and other retailer sites. Since there was a one year warranty, I contacted Voxx Customer Service and they rushed over a new unit once I told them my problem. The customer service rep was very understanding and made it seemed this problem happened frequently. At this point, I gave Voxx and Project Nursery a second chance, but again they fooled me. Within six months, the replacement baby monitor started experiencing the EXACT SAME ISSUE. The baby monitor stopped charging. I immediately reached out to Voxx Customer Service expecting them to address my problem. They said too bad, we can't help you. They explained that the product only has a one year limited warranty and I've gone past the one year mark. Well, okay, but the replacement product I received was only used for six months. They ignored my rational explanation and said the warranty on the replacement product is based on the warranty time limits from the original date of purchase. I told them that's not fair and doesn't make any sense. At that point, the customer service rep said, "well if we kept replacing our products every time something was wrong with it, we would be out of business." Well.... OBVIOUSLY! Hey Project Nursery and Voxx Accessories, why don't you just make a decent product without any bad charging ports, that way you can always stay in business and not have to constantly replace them. Maybe you ought to try that? The customer service rep, although very respectful, essentially told me they can't help me and I'm stuck with a $299 paper weight. Gee, thanks. I guess you don't want parents to sleep easy knowing that their products will stop working eventually. I will never again purchase anything from Voxx Accessories and Project Nursery. Their products won't last and they really don't care about their customer's concerns.

I also enjoy the fact that you can call and check if they have something in stock and if they do, they'll hold it for you! They usually are also competitive with pricing/value too.

Used to love this store. But after spending well over $150 for an Xbox One and games, I was forced…read moreto return the controller immediately after it had severe stick drift. Okay, fine. It was a bit of an inconvenience. I would've hoped it was tested before being sold. But it's now happening again, BUT unfortunately I am screwed because it's slightly past the big 14-day return period. I did not want a refund or a new console--I just want to be able to play a game. I cannot afford to slap down $60 for a controller--as the $150 took a while to save back--and playing this Xbox is one of the only luxuries of fun I have in my life. I'd expect this nonsense from GameStop, but I always assumed Disc Replay was a little more personable. Especially considering how GameStop and other physical media stores are going out of business. Now, if this were months and months ago, I could see their reasoning; but they sell absolute garbage and now I have a very heavy paperweight. PLEASE, if you value your money, find any place at all BESIDES this place.
