This store has so much to offer. It's almost infinite. They have anything from common games to hard to find and almost obscure games. They are always so knowledgeable about everything and are more than happy to chat you up about anything in the game realm. If they happen to not have what you want or need, they are also very motivated to help direct you elsewhere. It's a magical and intriguing place to walk around and get lost in. In my unscientific estimate, there's probably a zillion different ways to have fun in this store. There's just so many games! No matter what genre of tabletop gaming you're into, whether you're a casual player or dedicated gamer, Game Preserve will definitely have something for you. Beginning in the front of the store, you'll find the familiar family favorites. As you work your way in, you'll discover rows of dice, cards and what seems like every board game under the sun. If you have a favorite movie or TV show, they have games for that. Like historic or sci-fi themes? They have those games. Party games? Yep. Popular new releases? Got those. Miniature games? Yes, plus all the paints and brushes to customize your set. Staff is always super friendly and helpful when you're looking for something specific or trying to choose between their many titles. I've bought several gifts there plus several games for myself, all have been a huge hit. In the evenings, they open up their huge side room for games (I often see people playing Magic the Gathering and I know there's open game nights too). Plus there's a rewards program for repeat customers. I'll definitely be back! read more

Wow! Holy board games, Batman! I've never seen so many cards and tabletop games before in one area like this before. They had games in numerous rows I've never even heard of. Games involving Taxis, zombies, witches, WWII, Pirates, kittens, bananas! When you first walk in, to the left is more "common" games like Sorry, themed Monopoly, Twister, etc. As you progress there are games for kids and pop culture, an aisle of cards and Fluxx, war games, games I don't even know how to describe, building games (3D puzzles) and 1000 piece flat puzzles. I didn't venture to the right of the store because it was mainly gamer books, Magic and D&D. In the back of the store you could hear several people chatting and playing a game. (I didn't ask but I did some research on their website and there's an event calendar. Did not see a calendar to request game time) When I first checked in to Yelp I thought the prices were ok but the more I walked into the store the higher the prices. However, I checked 5 different items on Amazon, and this store was still cheaper. So I went for it and made a purchase! Customer Service: 3 stars-- The employee was more concerned about talking with her friend. A male employee however said hello and goodbye to us. You win some and you lose some. read more

While I'm a total idiot when it comes to table top gaming, my brother is into a few. I stopped in here to get my brother pieces for a game for Christmas. I didn't know where to even start looking. I've only been here once so far, but I had a really good experience. I stopped in on a Saturday, and they seemed to be very busy. I think they were hosting a tournament of some sort. I took some time browsing, and they had a very large selection of games. I was looking for a specific game and couldn't find it. I asked an associate, and he told me they had just sold out of it, but was able to steer me to a similar game made by the same company. I was very happy with his recommendation and have been enjoying Forbidden Desert ever since. Next time I need a game I will stop by here to find one. read more

One of my favorite board game stores. Additionally, this is my favorite location for the Game Preserve chain. I have been here many times to purchase painting supplies as that is my favorite part of the hobby. The staff have always been very helpful and several of the employees - and the owner - are graphic design artists. Whenever I have a question, they typically know the answer. I've never seen so many tabletop games in my life! There's an enormous selection of board games, card games, TCG expansions, D&D/Warhammer 40,000 sets, painting accessories, and figurines. This is a fantastic store. Employees and friendly and knowledgable, and they have fun! I was traveling for work and stopped by for a board game night - everyone made me feel welcome even though I was new. I got to try some new games and talk about many more.
