If I could give this place a zero I would. I wish I had read the reviews before I signed up with…read morethem. I was incorrectly charged $110 by Crunch Fitness in Athens, Georgia, in March. After reporting the issue to my trainer, he acknowledged it as a mistake and advised me to dispute it with my credit card company. I did so, but Crunch Fitness never responded with the required information so the charge was not reversed. After this, I was charged an additional $110 two more times, bringing the total incorrect charges to $330. Despite repeated attempts over the past three months, everyone at the gym has acknowledged that a refund is due, but no action has been taken. I have been in constant contact with a member of management for weeks. I've also requested the contact information for the GM/Owner who is apparently the ONLY person with the authority to issue refunds and have been denied this information. He's been telling me for 3 weeks now that said person is working on refunds. Yet I still have nothing. Withholding a refund for money you acknowledge was incorrectly charged if blatant theft in my opinion.

I've been a member of The Omni/Athens Health & Fitness since 2014, and I've seen four different…read moreowners during that time. The previous owner was, by far, the worst. Communication with members was almost nonexistent, whether it was about the water being shut off, the showers having little to no water pressure, or other important gym-related issues. The previous owner also failed to maintain the facility. Broken equipment often went unrepaired, machines weren't greased or properly maintained, and issues with the showers, sinks, toilets, and the steam room in the men's locker room were left unresolved. About two or three weeks ago, new ownership took over, and the difference has been incredible. The new owner has already made a noticeable impact by quickly repairing broken machines, replacing some with newer equipment, and addressing long-overdue maintenance in both locker rooms. I'm genuinely impressed with how much the new ownership has already improved the atmosphere of the gym in such a short time. It finally feels like the facility is being cared for again, and I can't wait to see the improvements that are still to come.

I live hundreds of miles away, but if I lived in the area, this would definitely be my regular gym. Bonus points for the fact that I went in the early evening and it was uncrowded!

The instructors have amazing attitudes and are incredibly motivating. Thanks to Tania and Patrick, I've pushed myself harder than I ever thought possible! The front desk staff are very helpful as well-- last time I had a small problem with my membership, the studio manager Charles called me almost immediately, and was very kind and proactive in getting the issue resolved.
