This place might have good machines but the customer service is absolutely an abomination. Sign on the door said 10-7 right?!? Well the lady that's supposed to be is never there, never answers the phone, and when it's their fault they flee from the blame. Will be contacting the own if they aren't like their employees. They cleaned house and it is a whole new crew. The specials and rates are fantastic for what all you get. You get access to any location! That includes international locations! Plus, they offer tanning and personal training. I would highly recommend this gym. read more

I was considering finding a new gym, but that changed after they hired the new gym manager, Dani. She actually listens to my concerns. I can tell she's genuinely into helping us, into this gym and fitness/nutrition is her life. It's hard for me to feel comfortable around people, but her friendliness overwrites any uncomfortable feelings. I've also seen her up there, late, doing maintenance on the equipment. Multiple times. She has positively reinforced my self-esteem as well as other members. Many times, I almost walked out of the gym, unmotivated. A few positive words from her and...bam...I'm crushing iron. If you love this gym, too...share it with the world. (Most of the time, people only take time to trash talk review bc anger and agitation can be quite the overwriting emotions. ) read more

I tried canceling my membership due to relocating. I provided everything that was needed and was told that it would be canceled just to receive an email later stating it wouldn't be canceled because it showed on their website there was an Anytime within 16 miles of my house. When you put the address in a navigation app and it states 27 miles. When I signed up I was 10 mins and 4.2 miles away and it would be 33 mins and 26.6 miles away. I met all of the requirements to cancel my contract, and they refused due to an error on their website. The facility is not well maintained. HVAC system doesn't work some of the time. The only reason I chose Anytime was because of the 24 hr access. This is not worth the money. read more

This is my primary Anytime Fitness location, but I go to different locations due to my job They have recently undergone some changes for the better. The gym is more organized and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The selection of cardio equipment is better than a lot of other Anytime Fitness locations. The areas are always clean. The only criticisms that I have, albeit very minor, is that there needs to be some plant protein drinks for those that are not able to consume whey protein like myself and that there is not a punching bag for those that like to box for their cardio. I've always loved anytime fitness so when I moved to Decatur decided to stop by and see the gym. The manager was very professional and friendly, gave me a tour, took the time to answer my questions and I signed up that day. I love that the gym isn't over crowded and has everything that I need. AND you can go to any of the Anytime's which Is amazing! read more

I love working out here. There's always enough machines and equipment even when it's busy, it's always clean and the staff is friendly.

We went to this gym for over a year and in the beginning we didn't have any issues. After about 5 months or so management constantly started to change, then it was super young, fresh out of college/high school kids that were managing the place. My fiancé and I decided to cancel our membership in October/November of 2019. We were under the same account but for some reason had to go in individually and cancel each line? I went and cancelled mine and my fiancé went the following day and was told by a young woman (who is no longer manager...imagine that!) that he could just put the account on hold for 6 months to be guaranteed the same rate if he decides to come back, but wouldn't be charged for those 6 months while it was on hold, then after the 6 months the membership would just be cancelled. Well, I look at bank statements and they had been charging him for each month as well as the club fees! He went in to ask about this and fully cancel and of course, a new manager was there (). He told him he could cancel the membership but couldn't refund him for those months of charges! Even though he didn't step foot in that gym and was told otherwise that he wouldn't be charged! They have no idea what the heck they are doing. We will NOT be getting a membership here or any other Anytime Fitness. read more

Anytime Fitness is a joke. My husband signed up through Anytime Fitness and signed our son up as well. Now my husband lives in Portland for work and the closest Anytime Fitness is an hour away. We waited until a month before his contract was up and he called to cancel his service. They told him he was cancelled but then in September we were charged again. He called and was told he needed to speak to some one in Irving because that's the last place he visited (it was close to his job site) and that the payment drafted in September will probably not be refunded. Now this morning we got charged club fees for both my husband and son (with one of them being a CANCELLED account). This is so frustrating and we will never get a membership with them again. Once my son's membership can be cancelled, it will be!!! read more

I am completely new to gyms and the manager told me I'd need a trainer to make any progress. Scared me into it. She explained my contract to me very lightly. Did not tell me about cancellation fees which I had no idea existed and she knew I knew nothing about gyms. Didn't tell me I couldn't cancel or that she was signing me up for a long time whereas I thought it was month by month by the way she made it sound. She did not make it sound like a legal binding in anyway. Now I'm moving out of the city and she wants me to pay almost $600 to get out of my contract. Never sign anything with this gym unless you're committed to stay forever. Horribly taken advantage of. read more

This gym is not covid ready. They have a lot of work to do, starting with spray bottles on the floor and in the bathrooms. Paper towels are only located in the tanning rooms. I love working out at this gym! I'm able to get the job done and get it done at my pace! The trainers are great, and I also get to tan on top of getting a great workout in with all of their equipment! Highly recommend this gym!! read more

Started my membership here April 5, 2018 and was well aware of the 12 month contract i was signing. In the contract it states that members are to give a 30 day notice to the club prior to membership expiring to not be auto renewed. I came in on Feb 21, 2018 and gave my notice to cancel my membership when it expired. I did not want to renew for another year, but i was not in any way trying to get out of my contract. Simply wanted to finish the 12 months and go about my way. HOWEVER, i signed some paper with whoever works in the office on the 21st that i thought i was cancelling my membership when in fact she didn't cancel it at all. I was charged the renewal fee and another months dues on April 5, 2019. I called to ask why that was and she informed me it was for the last month of my contract. I'm sorry, but if a contract expires on April 5th there should be no further payments taken. I signed a 12 month contract, not a 13 month contract. My account has been sent to a debt collector because my membership has yet to be cancelled and am now being told i owe over $200 to this gym. Do not sign up for a membership here. Go somewhere like Fit-n-Wise, where the equipment is nicer and you won't have to sign a stupid contract to work out there. Completely dissatisfied with this entire situation. read more

A very nice, well-equipped facility. Equipment is newer and appears well maintained. They would benefit from a little more attention to detail, like emptying trash and having gym wipes instead of paper towels. Clearly a good place for a workout. read more

Bad membership experience canceled my membership and employees lost all cancelation documents and I get charged several months after canceling. Gym equipment always dirty had to wipe down before use really well to get black gunk all over towel. read more
