Great place- came through for a 2 week membership while I was in town for a vacation to see family. I paid $50, Jeff is very friendly and the vibe is great! I was hesitant on joining this gym. I've been a member at Sports Club LA, LA Fitness, and 24 hour Fitness. So I'm used to the big facilities that are usually accompanies with a host of amenities... Well, AF is small, but mighty! Definitely more than I expected. It's not over crowded like the big guys, so it's almost like your own personal gym at home. The main draw is that I can walk here from home. Takes about 3-5 minutes. I LOVE IT! It's a 24 hour accessible facility & because of that, you have to be buzzed or hold a key card to gain entry. Equipment is clean & well kept. You don't have to go hunting around for equipment. Staff is friendly. AND this is the first time I've had a personal trainer. She's awesome. Really knows her exercises and what to do with your body. I haven't used the onsite bathrooms or showers/locker area, but I have used the HYDRO-MASSAGE!!! LOVE IT! The plan is to use it daily. I'm just getting into the benefits of massages. And as a new mom, i want to soak up all the pampering I can when I can. There's no extra fee. I don't have to carve out extra time to go get one. It's already worked into the routine. If I'm at the gym, I might as well use it! I recommend this gym if you are looking for a place to take care of your mind & body! read more

New gym alert in DP! They just opened a few weeks ago and so far I'm loving this place. If you want a gym that's not going to break the bank but has all the basics, this is it. It's clean and safe but small. There's like one of each of the weight machines so if someone is using the machine you'd like to use, there will be a wait. Same with the weights. However since the place just opened, there are not a lot of members yet and you pretty much have the place to yourself esp in the morning. The gym is 24/7 but no staff is in before 9am (I think). When you sign up, they will give you a key fob which you will use to enter the premises outside of staff hours. read more

Upscale gym located in the heart of downtown Des Plaines. Plenty of parking, high end equipment (not the cheap machines like most other gyms), the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and It is kept very clean. It's a very nice gym. A lot of equipment and very clean. However, I get a fit of anxiety working out here. Masks required ALL THE TIME even when social distancing is in place. This is ridiculous in my eyes as it deprives you of oxygen. Tape all over the ground marking where you can and can't go. I'm sure the owners have the very best intentions but a gym is supposed to be a place of escape. I'm all about sanitation. Wiping down everything you touch but this is a little over board read more

This is one of the best Anytimes I've been to and have loved coming here since they opened. They have incredibly clean equipment that is well maintained and the staff is wonderful. They took our recommendations for a couple pieces of exercise equipment and were always very friendly. After moving, we were heartbroken to have to cancel our membership but they made it incredibly easy. Clearly, customer service is their main priority and I'll be referring all my friends in the Des Plaines area to this place! We love you, Anytime! read more

Great new gym to join. Al the owner has worked his butt off to make the gym what it is. Equipment is nice. Free weight area is spacious. You can move around and not be on top of someone.
